• Cisco ASA Cisco 831 routing static. help with ACL, maybe?

  Hi all

  What should be a simple task turns out to be difficult and I really need help.

  The Cisco ASA obviously isn't a strong point on mine and could do with a point in the right direction. I hope that this will allow me to learn more about the ASA 5505.

  OK so I have an ASA 5505. VLAN 1 is 192.168.254.1 and VLAN 2 DHCP of my cable modem.

  I have a cisco 831 Ethernet router that will sit between my main LAN and my LAN test I want to implement for multicasting. the Cisco 831 has 1 Ethernet as 192.168.254.254 and Ethernet 0 is 10.1.1.1.

  The ASA I have an interior route 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 192.168.254.254.

  On the Cisco 831, there is a route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.254.1. I can pass traffic via Cisco 831 to the ASA 5505 and internet, for example I can ping 8.8.8.8 and access everything on my main local network, but the other wan of any host inside the ASA 5505 is unable to ping anything on 10.1.1.x.

  Where I'm going wrong? I did all my access to my a whole ASA, but it is still unable to do anything.

  I will attached my configs with deleted passwords here and would like a good kick in the right direction. Without a doubt, it's something simple I'm missing and I'm sure it's with the ACL on the ASA 5505 like the packet tracer said that the package is abandoned due to the ACL

• SG300-10 - need help with ACL

  We recently received a SG300-10 switch and we need assistance in the creation of an access list for SSH access. The switch is running

  1.3.0.62 SW version. We want to make sure the SSH access is allowed only from the 192.168.1.0 network. We would also like all attempts to the connected port tcp 22 for SSH. Right, SSH is now accessible from any IP including external (Internet). Here's what we have at the moment. The switch has an IP address of 192.168.1.7.

  You have defined an ip access list. Those who are for routed traffic filtering, is not to control access to the switch itself. What more, it seems that you don't activate it on any interface (via the access-class command), so it has no effect at all.

  To control access to the switch itself, you must define a list of management access and activate it with the management access-class command. Unfortunately the syntax of these differs slightly from the standard ACL. For example:

• IOS VPN with NAT need help with ACL?

  What I forget? I have tried other positions, studied bugs known with 12.2 (13) T1, etc. workaround solutions, but perhaps my other choice of configuration interfere with my VPN configuration.

  I can connect, authenticate locally, very well. Stats of Cisco VPN client 3.6.3 show I'm Encrypting traffic on the protected networks, but I can not all traffic through internal hosts once I've connected.

  I removed security tags and replaced all the public IP addresses to fake in hope that someone can point me to what is obvious!

If you do a ' sho cry ipsec his 'you see Pkts Decaps increment, indicating that you see the traffic of the remote client? • Help! ACL MASSIVE corruption

  It seemed to me have made a colossal mistake to set up my iMac.

  I split the drive HARD internal into two partitions: OS X = P1 P2 10.10.5, = OS X 10.7.5.  All updates applied

  Here is was I think I was wrong:

  I installed OS X Server 5 on the partition of Yosemite, AND OS X Server Lion on the Partition of Lion.  I did this, so I could do some tests with server on both systems.

  Everything worked well and I was able to switch between the two partitions, testing various settings, including VPNS.

  However, last week, after doing some work in Lion, when I rebooted in Yosemite, I've was besieged with ACL errors and messages 'cannot access Library.

  I ran disk utility, and it seems that ALL the files on the system got error unexpected 'ACL '.  By clicking 'Fix' did nothing to solve the problem.

  Displaying information about any file showed several redundant entries sharing and permissions, WHICH are set to = read-only privilege.

  I tried to delete or modify privileges manually, but I'm not able to modify privileges even after my admin id and password.

  I tried to use the terminal to remove the ACL (all 10.10), but who have not (I can't get the correct syntax).

  I thought that the problem probably occurred when I was in the score of Lion, then tried to restart in Lion and Lion is now completely locked as well.  Reboot is stuck on the gray screen with the small wheel (3 days).

  Then I tried to restart in Yosemite, and he is so stuck on the gray screen and the spinning wheel.

  I would try to remove the ACL again using Terminal Server after restarting in the score of 10.10 recovery, but need help with the syntax for the elimination of the ACL in the partition.

  i.e.

  The Yosemite drive name is "HD iMac 27.

  After the launch of Terminal I would enter orders

  1. CD /volumes/ "HD iMac 27.
  2. chmod n r "HD iMac 27.

  BTW - as a last resort, I tried to reinstall the Yosemite, but Setup won't work either.  I hope that if I can remove the ACL I can complete the reinstallation.

  Yes, something to add a bunch of ACL permissions where they shouldn't be. This:

  sudo chmod-r n "/ Volumes/iMac 27 inch HD.

  should remove them.

  To sell or transfer ownership of a Mac, even to a member of your family, you must follow these instructions. So far, you will have continuous problems.

  Refer to what to do before you sell or give away your Mac

  1. If you have enabled FileVault, disable it in system preferences > Security and privacy.
  2. "Remove" your iTunes account. Ditto for Audible if you have one.
  3. System Preferences > iCloud > deselect 'Back to My Mac' and 'find my Mac '.
  4. Disconnect from iCloud. Select "Delete from Mac" when it appears.

  Next: delete all of your personal information by erasing the internal storage of the Mac completely.

  1. If your Mac comes with a grey system installation DVD, start up your Mac with this disc in the optical drive, all holding the key c to boot from it instead of its internal volume, which must be erased before selling.
     • Apple stopped Macs shipment requiring these discs in August 2011.
  2. If your Mac does not comes with disks, boot OS X Internet Recovery:
     • using three fingers press on and hold the following keys: ⌘(command), optionand R.

     • The fastest method is sufficient, since all but the techniques more expensive and equipment will be able to recover data deleted safely.

  I have a guess on why it has stopped working. Firefox 40 has some changes to how extensions can work with the user interface, so quite a few extensions that have been more than one year must be updated for Firefox 40. It has been updated on January 10, 2012.

  Anyway, the way of 'long' to display the passwords saved in Firefox is through the Options page, the Security Panel, the saved passwords button.

  One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

  Delete all rules for Firefox in the list of permissions in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.
