  I recently had to buy a new hard drive for my Advent 5431. I had a Toshiba MK1652GSX 160 GB and have now bought a Samsung Spinpoint 250 GB.

  Having bought my computer PC World/The Tech guys it did not come with an installation CD, so I bought one on eBay.

  Anyhoo, I was wondering if after replacing the hard drive and the installation of vista, I said I have to install the drivers.

  Really, I have no idea about the drivers and I was wondering
  -How are?
  -where can I get a?
  and basically I was wondering what they are, etc. and if it would be easy to install and where to go.

  Search for drivers updated, BIOS, software control (if any) and others that you can find in the
  Sites of the manufacturer the manufacturer of the device or system.

  This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

  For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
  Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.

  For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
  Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
  your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
  Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
  Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

  Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
  with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

  Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
  Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
  BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

  Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.
  REBOOT after each installation.

  Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
  presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
  in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
  necessary.

  Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check manually
  by model.

  If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
  Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
  older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it) and
  Then, get new ones manually if you wish.

  So my computer is EXTREMELY slow and does not even begin to start a backup of my hard drive... The hard drive is a little old, and I wear my computers, so I have a little idea that he would not soon respect...   It indicates the size of the backup disk is too small.  But I'm sure that's not.  I removed some files to be sure of sufficient space on the backup.

  EtreCheck is only the backup is too small, because it can not find the size and zero byte is smaller than anything else. I wouldn't worry about it. Trying to extract information about Time Machine is a bit like black magic. Sometimes it works everything simply.

  It is an older machine and has not been updated recently. (Just an observation - I tell you NOT to date). When did start behaving badly? Were there any particular action that happened at the same time? You have a lot of 3rd party system changes, including some software to "clean up". I've never seen some of the software that you have.

  I went on facebook and clicked on a quiz and then out of no where then a screen I showed my "My Computer" and telling me that my C and D (recovery drive) are infected by virus about 345 and spam etc. as well as a program no doubt Web Page-with a yellow logo was picking up the virus (I think). I panicked and close it and then a box just 'web Page' wants me to install an application, so I just cancel it.

  Quickly, I used my software Norton 360 and it detected cookies, and nothing more. I opened my application and all apparently be running OK as far as I could tell. So, what should I do? If I let it be. ?

  I asked the hp tech guy and he said I have better backup and recover? But it looks and works very well. The program "web Page? or was something authentic and really detected the virus.

  Install MBAM free, run the program and go to the update tab and update, then go to the tab scan and do a quick scan, select and delete everything it finds.

  Is not like Norton AV software, scanners, they request that single scan for nasties when you run the program and will not interfere with Norton, these can be performed once a week to ensure that you are not infected. Don't forget that you update before each weekly analysis.

  I have seen this problem before and it is caused by file corruption. And it is usually only 1 bit misplaced. This lost 1 bit causes this problem. So maybe try to go back to the client and the file zip before sending through or any way to go back to the original file. You have to somehow go back to the file origin either by the customer or if you take back your smart if this is an option. Otherwise, I have a manufacturer who invented the BetterLight back scan that might have a fix. Let me know if you can revert to the original file?

  I use contribute CS5 to edit my site.  I have a page on my site that I can't change all other pages are no problem.  Technical support says that this is not a software issue since I can access all the other pages to edit and publish.  Support informed me that it is specific to the file and to post on the forum so here I am, I get the following message appears when I try to edit the page... "the file is currently used or edited by the user." that would be me. "  If the ideas and suggestions would be helpful.  I'm not extremely savy computer so if you have nice and slow ideas please!

  You get a yellow message information bar saying "you can't edit this page now because your are already edit on another computer." Click here to make this page editable. »

  Then please click on "Click here to make this page editable." to break the lock and start editing.

  Or if you have FTP access to the server, go to the. LCK file location and delete the file .lck page, that you are not able to change it.

  If this does not help, please me in detail on the issue.
