• Help with Google Maps blackBerry Smartphones please.

  I have the 9530 and spin the device OS 4.7.0.75.

  I loaded Google maps successfully, the two 2.3.2 version and 2.2.2.

  I can't get rid of the portrait keyboard, so I end up with one half of the screen.

  Everyone else ran into this and can you let me know if this can be corrected?

  Looks like you got Google Maps put in "compatibility" Mode As a result, half of the screen keyboard all the time.

  Find and click the 'Options '. Then click on 'Advanced Options', then click 'Applications', 'Google Maps' discovery and highlight do not click it. Then press the BB menu button and select "Disable the Compatibility Mode". Then back out and try again 'Google Maps'.

  I hope that this is the problem.

• Help with calendar with Outlook sync blackBerry Smartphones to all appointments will not sync...

  I'm not a great tech, but I have some skills good enough for a girl, if I say so myself... but I'm so frustrated... I need help.

  This is my first public post... So I hope that I give all the information but who will help, if I missed something, please let me know.

  Here is some background info:

  I have a BB "BOLD"

  I use it NOT on a company (network)

  I sync my bb with my dell

  Windows Vista (UGH!)

  Outlook - Version 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1 Build 6001

  My calendar and my contacts are the most important reason, I have a bb

  My contacts are FINE

  My schedule is a MESS

  I have 2 separate email addresses work well my bb... For the purposes of his post, I will refer to them as

  [email protected] and

  [email protected]

  When I do appointments in my work calendar, I do one of 2 things to get all my appointments on the BB

  Plan my gmail as a participant in the designation address or

  Prior to the appointment to my gmail from my work email address

  When I make an appointment directly from my BB I do it by selecting Menu > new = my default settings of the account gmail under the 'send '.

  BB News:

  When I'm in the calendar and select > Menu.Options > calendars > I have 3 options

  [email protected] who has (518 entries)

  Default device that has (157 results)

  [email protected] who has (429 entries)

  When I go to the Menu > Options > Advanced Options > Services > (CICAL) by default is [email protected] , it shows that I have options to select my Gmail or my .mac address

  That is the problem - it did not used to happen, and I frankly did not know that my backup was messed up so I don't know how long this is happening.

   

  When I sync with Outlook

  There are only 518 appointments that are synchronized

  I can't get the other 157 (defect of the unit) + 429 (mac) to sync with my outlook

  Can someone help me to get them all on my gmail calendar? or in my outlook so that I can then sync back with the BB

  I will not sync my bb with my mac

  Here's what I tired:

  • Yelling at the computer
  • Yelling in Spanish at the BlackBerry
  • ignoring the two
  • I stopped myself to throw both of them against the wall.

  But seriously

  I put the BB Desktop Manager to perform a one-way synchronization > bb to outlook = NOTHING only synchronize gmail

  I changed the (CICAL) to my mac address and synchronized = NOTHING - only synchronization gmail

  I am at a loss and would appreciate any help.

  We will remember and then on MAC records.

  Outlook contains records of 158 of the associated Gmail Calendar.

  The calendar by default folders must be cleared and restored to the associated Gmail Calendar.

  The Blackberry associated gmail calendar resulting will be then synchronized with Outlook to add the former default records

  resulting calendars synced to Outlook and Blackberry.

  Reading this, I propose more than once. Method 3 is what we do.

• BlackBerry sync with Google Calendar Blackberry smartphones

  HI, I managed to sync my main calendar for my Blackberry, but it doesn't seem to synchronize my other google calendars.

  I have 3 Calenders, one for me, one for CHILDREN that I share with my husband (and I also need this calendar on my blackberry to remember the events of those of children) and the calendar of my husband.

  At present, it is only to sync my main calendar. Does anyone know a way around it, so that it can synchronize all 3?

  While urhamilton gives good advice, as a new user I would offer that it could simply be that you didn't Sync to use all three.   I had the same problem and didn't you open Google Sync, go to Menu (the button left of the click wheel) and go to Options. There you can select the calendars to sync with.  I also have three and it works fine.

  I suggest that you clear the cache of the AppWorld application:

  1. open the App World

  2. go to my world

  3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:

  3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T

  3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)

  3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:

  4 AppWorld must close

  5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot

  6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).

  If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

  I just got this blackberry for my birthday and it doesn't have msn messenger top and it says for att that it available but I can't find to download anywhere and since I don't have webservice my phone I can't use my phone links to get it and I can't find anywhere eles to download so I could just use Desktop Manager to put it on the phone. Can someone help me please?

  I don't know which provider you're with, but I have just a Blackberry email and IM with mobile browsing (not BIS) of Telus and Windows Live Messenger works on my phone. I don't get charged for it. pouvez/do not get charged if you can make it work. If you PM me I can send you the installation files (alx/cod).

  I bought one yesterday "BOLD" is used. I switched my sim card from my iphone and put my data to a blackberry plan. I have hard reset the phone twice and everything seemed to work. Then I started to receive notifications about new emails. Apparently, I have deleted the e-mail account on the phone, but I always get the first email to owners. Y at - there someone here who can solve this problem? I tried to pass to set up e-mail and he says that an email is already set up with this account. ATT, I called and they have of course no help.

  With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  Hi, I'm having a lot of problems with the Google Maps download.

  I just got my blackberry a couple of weeks, and google maps is a feature that I really need.

  I have download it without problems, and then when I opened the application I can search for a place with no trouble.

  However, I can't find any more places. If I enter another address, I get the 'getting directions' screen and he's looking for hours and hours. Finally, I just delete the program and reinstall it if I want to search for another location.

  Why should I do this? Is there something wrong with my phone?

  Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

  1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
  2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
  3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  Hello. I have an account taken on my phone plus two other internet e-mail (Yahoo and AOL) accounts. I had two folders - one that would list all incoming calls as well as mail that came on behalf of the company and a folder for the account of the company.

  The record for one who lists incoming/missed calls, calls with missing mail the other day. The phone should not have been locked, was in my wallet, and did her own thing.

  Now, I received phone calls, it shows that I have "e-mail", but when I check the accounts, all mail was read. I can't access the "folder" where calls are listed to delete missed calls.

  How can I fix?

  On the home screen press Menu page (key BB), and select Show all.

  Check now if your main Message folder showing or not, if present, then just select press Menu, and then click Show.

  I just bought a pearl 8100 and I'm confused.

  I know it's probably a noob question, but it came with no manual (2nd hand)

  so I put my sim in and I tihnk im connected to my network (orange) I have 4 bars of signal.

  but I turned wireless off on my apps and it gets rid of the network connection. is this normal?

  connected to my network when wireless is enabled?

  will be I have always linked to orange when I go out, I know it's a stupid question, but please don't hate on me!

Close other applications and try opening the camera again"I use the Switch Application (menu > switching Applications) for a list of tape of the applications running and close everything that I did not need... but I don't know how to close applications...   Immediately after a good batt pull reboot (with power ON, remove the battery...), the AppSwitcher Ribbon will have the minimum system requirements apps... There are some that still need to be running. If your device does not work at this time, then it happens something else.

  For starters, what device operating system if you are in and what carrier? You have updated to your latest version supported carriers? You're on a leaked version?

  I have alerts email on silent, but when the sounds together are set to normal, I always get an alert when an e-mail arrives. I want to just get an alert when the phone rings or a text is available in.  Any help?

  You can set it to phone calls only or if you also need the text alerts, you will need to create a custom profile.
