  I'm brand new on these forums, I became a happy owner of Dell (same havnt got my system yet).  But I want to assure you that I get out all the wrinkles before I try and set up this platform.  As a result, this is my first thread/post.

  Ok... So, I just bought 3 Fujitsu 36.7 GB 15 K RPM Fibre Channel 3.5 "hard drives in order to complete my 160 GB that comes with the system.

  My question is, what is the best way to put these in place?

  Because these Fujitsu drives are SCSI, I need to buy a correct SCSI controller?  For once I installed in one of the PCI-E slots and all readers hooked up to the I want to either set the Fujitsu drives configured to start.  Somone can help with this?  Is it as simple as installing Vista for this drive?  Also I obviously care about performance so I want to configure these drives for the fastest possible.  What do I want? RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 5?  Can I put the 3 disks 15 k for RAID 0 and the 160 GB Seagate @ RAID 1 and have it defined as an automatic backup drive?

• Need help with screen Blus of death (BSOD) on my computer toshiba laptop

  Hello all, Ive had a little last week, or problems with my laptop. While playing a game (minecraft), I would randomly have a BSOD error and my laptop will re-start. Initially, I gave it no thought, but when it happened again, I decided to try to do a little research, but I'm not terrible with technology and other then I'm neither the case with my own research.

  If someone could point me in the direction of a few possible ways to get this problem.

  I got a program to read some sort of file "dump" made when occurs a BSOD, I publish what this program here says? the program is BlueScreenView, if yes, what I have post the spectator thing? There are has 2 main screens on it, SDO as Sho different dump files (which is on the top) and on the bottom, it lists the names of different files for each dump file I think that some of them highlighted.

  im not this product with tech so I don't know much but I need to post anything on my laptop or any information of the dumpfile and would have this info help in any way to determine the problem? just tell me what I have to post and ill get the information displayed in a response, thank you.

  PS: I don't think that playing minecraft is the cause of the BSOD and crashing, but I only get it when playing minecraft, so I don't know if minecraft is causing accidents and others. I watch videos and this all the time and I never have an accident. I'll try and play a different game and see if this causes my laptop down and the cause is perhaps high usuage to my laptop, as I've said games require a lot of power of a laptop/computer, if they are not the 'best' laptop for games. but yh, if someone thinks they can help me and need some information please tell me so I can get it for you. If you guys think it would be best to get a professional to look just mylaptop say, however im save as a last resort.

  I downloaded photoshop elements 12. Folder on the desktop called for Adobe Photoshop elements 12.  The Interior is PSE12 > ElementsSTIInstaller > Set - up.exe.  By clicking on this file launches an installation, but apparently not the real photoshop install.  I have no idea where to go next. Some advice, please. I am computer literate, but I have no idea what it is.

  I'm all set. If the cat help online REP basically, I used the installation file pretty darn bad.  Gotta, click the correct exe!

  Sorry for the double post, but I accidentally changed DS DSL on the line object with the spell checker.  That's how frustrated I am.

  I bought a router WRT54G2 year last to connect my Ipod touch to the internet.  I assumed that later I could use it for my DS as well.  Well I tried and failed.  I know that my router is not setup to WEP and reading the other discussions, I've learned that's what is needed for the DS.  I tried to type in the http://192.168.1.1/ everything that comes is a Verizon DSL page and nothing like than what everyone else has described.  I don't know where else to go to change settings.  I don't have a wireless network tab when I go on my network connections via the control panel either.  My Ipod touch works fine with my existing network, so I know I did something at the point where I put in place, but I get more and more frustrated trying to set it up.  Help, please! I'm at the end of my piece.  Although I'm not computer illiterate and I network completely illiterate, please write to me in terms the most basic you can.  Thank you very much

  Hello Reneester, the reason why your Verizon home page comes and not your Linksys page when you type in http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar, because a DSL connection uses the same just like your Linksys router IP address (especially your DSL provider who is Verizon). To enter the page of the Linksys router, you must check what IP address your PC from the reception of your router.

  How to do this? (follow these steps on the PC that is connected to the router)

  > click Start and select Control Panel

  > on the left side of your control panel, try to switch to Classic view , and then click it, but if you need to switch to the display of the category then your control panel is already in Classic view.

  > click on network connections

  > Search for LAN connections and right-click to bring up some options

  > click on status

  > a small box will appear on the screen, go to the Support tab and note numbers default gateway. It's the IP address of your router and this is the number that you type in the address bar of your internet explore.

  > once you are aware of your default gateway, close all open Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and type the numbers.

  > Press ENTER and it will come with a box of user name and password. The default router password is admin and just leave the empty user name, but if that does not work then try to memorize the router password you setup when first configure you the router using the installation CD.

  I can't understand this. "I have a new 8330 and when I go into the configuration Email options I have 2 options: I want to use a professional email with Blackberry Enterprise Server account" and I want to ignore the e-mail configuration. Shouldn't there be an option to configure an existing e-mail account? I want my Outlook of Comcast.net email to pass on to my BB, but can't seem to find a way to do it. I have setup a BIS account which seems to be configured correctly. I use Desktop manager 4.6 and Outlook 2007 HELPPpp please... It seems there is no option in Fund Manager to implement. And when I set up the synchronization options, it only shows the calendar (which works)

  To configure your email go to your phone via the Blackberry Internet Service, there are really only two options: 1) the installer of your phone; or (2) the installer through the website of your mobile phone service provider.  From your phone, search for "Setting up Internet E-Mail" icon, select and it will take you through the steps until the establishment of consumer email.  If you don't see this icon, go to main Menu > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table, press the menu key to the left of your trackball and select "register now".  Pull your battery, wait a few seconds and pop and then reconnecting, which should automatically start the phone.  If the icon is not there, contact your mobile phone service provider, because it cannot be fully implemented in their system yet.

  If you try to set up the email on the Blackberry Desktop Manager and you see an 'E-mail settings' icon, and then you installed the BES, not the version BIS of the BB Desktop Manager and you will need to uninstall and reinstall the software.  The key is to choose the second option, the installation options that is for BRI.

  I just bought a new Mac Book Pro - I've done a full migration of my old Pro, but ended up having many of my Adobe programs uninstall because, while trying to free up space on my old Pro, I had accidentally deleted some files of application led me to get error messages when I open programs.  Anyway - I was able to reinstall all the programs on the new computer, with the exception of Acrobat Pro VI - Installer CC told me that it is "up-to-date", even if it is not installed on my computer and it gives me the opportunity to install it.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

  Hello, I'm new to the first 10 items and I'm stuck at the stage of project configuration.  I read a book on the use of Prime Minister, attempted to experiment with it, and I even contacted the Help Desk (they have been no help).  I am now hoping that this forum, which seems to be filled with competent people, can help me set up and get started on my new project.

  I used to do video production when we were still shooting on tape (Yes!), and there was no "configuration of a project" - in fact, there was no computer editing at all!  Now I want to make some videos as well as a personal project and, more important still, like a video RESUME.  The curriculum vitae is not for video work, by the way, but for a position at a place called Techshop technology educator.

  My ultimate goal is to have good looks (i.e. decent resolution and size) video that I can send them on Youtube and have as a type DVD video or even just a simple file that I can put on some removable storage (probably a USB key or flash drive) media and mail to my prospective employer.  If I understand correctly it will achieve this by editing together a final project and 'share' in two formats different-ok, save in a format (not clear about that) and upload them to Youtube as soon as the first (and then I need to find a way to do it on my channel).

  Now we come to my question.  I don't know what format to use.  And I don't know where to find what I SHOULD use.  Heck, I don't know even what image format uses Youtube.  My original idea was output to 4:3, product final SD because A) I am familiar with that kind of video of framing and B) I thought that it would be visible on any monitor, a regular or large screen, without break or black bands.  Finally, it was important because I wanted people on Youtube to watch in full screen and get as much clarity and size as possible.

  I made my original film on a Panasonic SC - V10 cheap camera (I know, I need better, but that's what I have).  I think I shot most of it at a resolution of 920p, and I'm sure that it was released in 16:9 format.  A little images, stuff, I really didn't remove, time is at p. 1020.

  However, I think that I myself has really shot in the foot here - I did not use the premier capture images in my project!  I filled out my SD card, so I just moved the files from the SD card manually on my hard drive and deleted from the SD card.  Now, they are all in. MP4 format and I really cannot go back and reshoot.  I learn, however, that the Prime Minister is VERY picky about what he's going to work with and I need to somehow be import these files into my project or convert them with another program (I have a called Wondershare that looks nice) THEN import them.

  All that being said, here are my questions, and I hope that if you will forgive me if they are really noob or have already been addressed:

  (1) do I need out in 4:3 format?  Is this a good idea?  Or should I really, really let him alone to 16:9?

  (2) is it an easy way (ish) either convert the image format inside of the project (don't forget, I want not out on Youtube or a normal file with black stripes) or BEFORE I start editing?

  (3) in the light of the I start with raw images and the final product with that I want to finish, how I need to set up my first project when I create?

  (4) what is the best way to get these MP4 in my project?

  It is a very long message and I deeply thank you for sticking with me and help out me.  I hope I can do the same for you one day and thanks in advance for the help!
