  Hello. I have an account taken on my phone plus two other internet e-mail (Yahoo and AOL) accounts. I had two folders - one that would list all incoming calls as well as mail that came on behalf of the company and a folder for the account of the company.

  The record for one who lists incoming/missed calls, calls with missing mail the other day. The phone should not have been locked, was in my wallet, and did her own thing.

  Now, I received phone calls, it shows that I have "e-mail", but when I check the accounts, all mail was read. I can't access the "folder" where calls are listed to delete missed calls.

  Before you can use the user-defined reports, you must create an ODBC entry for the database so that Crystal can access Crystal dictionaries.

  The method of establishing new connections ODBC differs depending on the version of Windows that you are running. However, you must use the ODBC Administrator to establish this connection. These instructions describe creating an ODBC entry on a workstation running Windows 2000.

  On the start menu, select settings, Control Panel, administrative tools, then Data Source (ODBC).

  The ODBC data source Administrator dialog box appears.

  Click the user DSN tab.

  Click the Add button.

  The dialog box create a new Data Source appears.

  In the list of drivers, select CR SQLBase, provides a Crystal Reports driver.

  If you are an Oracle, SQL Server or DB2 user, select the starting driver by CR and ends with the name of the appropriate database.

  Click the Finish button.

  SQLBase of ODBC driver dialog box is displayed.

  In the Data Source Name field, type LSA SQLBase Dictionary.

  If necessary, enter a description for the DSN in the Description field.

• Corrupted hard disk, need help with replacement drive...

  I have currently a HP Pavilion DV6500 is a bit old but my children use it for learning games and watch netflix. They use on a daily basis. Months ago, the hard drive went out on this issue I tried to take it they told me to just buy a new laptop cost way to much to fix.

  The hard drive has a sticker that says "Replace with HP Spare" which makes it means? The laptop was running a Seagate Momentus 5400.3 im looking for a disc compatible hard good which can be integrated in the laptop right now. And a what it cost an arm and a leg.

  I recently had to replace the HARD drive in my HP ProBook 4530 s (A6G60ES) I did a clean reinstall of Windows 7 Professional x 64.

  It works fine, but however, now I'm missing lots of drivers and Windows Update is not help. The page of the HP product is also very confusing, because there are so many different network drivers to download for example, but I don't know which are made for my model. Unfortunately, Googling my A6G60ES model does not have a majority.

  I'm pretty confident that the network controller is indeed Realtek RTL8188CE, at least it works even if it is incorrect, but I know not at all on others.

  I would appreciate if someone could help me identify these drivers. I hope that using hardware ID, according to me, one of your customer service agent said that they can be useful.

• Help with CD drive not reading CD!

  My wife recently purchased an iPod, and when we tried to rip CD, CD said he could not 'read the media' on the CD... and after having tried with 2-3 different CD I got the same result.  I updated the drivers from the CD-ROM and used "FixIt" Microsoft application and still no dice!  If there is any futher information, please let me know... but please HELP!

  Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as it is often the total process
  which solves the problem.

  Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
  Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
  This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.
  
  Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
  slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

  Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
  ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and

• Help with Hard Drive and registry

  Hey, it kinda turns out to be a long and difficult history, but I recently had a small problem that spread to a problem much bigger (and catastrophic).

  I had a problem with freezxing on my laptop (HP Pavilion Dv5 with the 64-bit version of Vista I think). I've tried a few things m ais it froze just in case. Finally I found someone who said they ran a registry cleaning program and that did the trick. I tried and I had no more freezing. Unfortunately, I connected an external hard drive and all hell broke loose. It froze and I turned off the laptop. I have it turned on and was greeted with this message:

  The Session Manager failed to create protected prefixes system process terminate
  d unexpectedly with a status of 0x000003a (0x00000000 0x00000000).
  The system has been shut down.
  

  I tried to boot in safe mode and found:

  STOP: c0000218 {Registry File Failure}
  The registry cannot load the hive (file):\SystemRoot\system32\config\SOFTWARE or its log alternative.
  It is corrupt, absent, or not writable.
  

  Then, she went and made the collection of data, and that was all. After that, I tried the boot recovery option and that never worked. I searched internet and found a few people with similar, but never the same questions. Someone, somewhere, says something about execution of system restore after having access to the menu by pressing F8 at startup. I tried. It did not work.   It depends on how much you have to pay to get the new hard drive installed and running. Get a quote for a computer shop trust you.  So I think that if the computer has been done what you wanted to do before he went wrong.  If it was enough for you and the price of the repair is not too high (maybe less), I would.   I was wondering if you could please help? It's probably more to do with "powershell" than powercli but are... What I'm trying to achieve is the ability to create a function that runs through all my VM - counts the number of hard drives by VM - crosses EACH hard drive and gives me the ability of each of them. He then returns to a csv file (which iknow how to do). The segment below is pretty well what I want, but I was wondering if there was a way to reduce the amount of code! I tried using a foreach statement, but got stuck (PS - the maximum number of hard drives of our virtual machines can have is 5)

• Satellite M40X - big problems with Sims 3 - help with disk drives!

  I recently bought the sims 3 and unfortunately an error message appears saying "Disk authentication failure" I noticed after calling EA games and reading through many forums that there was a problem evident with laptops Toshiba and their ability to play the sims 3 (disk DLA).
  I did like the forums all recommended, and I have disabled the DLA drive, uninstalled the sims and restarted the computer. Not only could I not play the sims or re - install, but my computer did not recognize even the hard drive, he kept saying 'bad volume' etc.
  I got the sims on the computer and then re-enabled the DLA drive, causing my computer to close and show a major error on a blue screen.

  I then turned the computer back on, and it does not recognize the disc sims 3 more... It recognizes the other placed disks in the cd-rom drive... But now when I put the sims 3 in the player and enter my computer to open it it tells me to insert a disc into the cd player...

  My questions are the following...

  A.) how can I get my hard drive to recognize the disc sims being in the drive

  (B) once this problem is solved, how can I go about installing and using the sims 3 without disabling the DLA, which proved detrimental drive.

  (C.) other problems with computers laptop toshiba have turned around an individual driver... Metisha or something? My driver's - VOB COMPUTERSYSTEME GMHB
  Or something to that effect, which means that it has nothing to do with the DLA drive.

• Hello! I have a laptop HP Compaq 6730 s with a windows XP SP2 OS. I need help with my drive burning/writing speed CD/DVD and its ability to play DVD. __

  There an Optiac DVD RW AD-7561 pilot. Before it used to have a 8 X read speed and a 8 X write speed, I can see via NERO everytime I have will burn a DVD. But now the writing speed has become 2 X and therefore more adjustable from a NERO software. And also I tried to burn a DVD every time, he finished but it does'nt displays data that has been burnt at all... I already tried to uninstall this software, rebooted and installing it, thinking that this might well be the cause of the problem, but it's always the same. I even tried to install Roxio 9, hoping that this will solve the problem, but it still shows the same write speed 2 X... His ability to read and burn to a CD is fine, but the problem is when it comes to DVD's just makes a strange noise and takes a long time before displaying the content of the DVD and its ability to burn a data file on a DVD...

  Before this problem occurred, I remember I have inserted a DVD and tried to copy paste its content on my desktop. But while the copy is in progress, I accidentally typed on the eject button while trying to reach for my cell phone, which was placed next to the my laptop cd/dvd drive.

  IM desperate and I need an experts'advise on what to do...
