  No need for GREP. If "TABLE 7.1:" is text, you can create a nested character style that extends through the colon, in the paragraph style. "

  If "TABLE 7.1:" is created by a numbered list of automatic type paragraph style, you can specify a character style named for the part of automatic numbering in the drop-down menu Style of character, in the Style of numbering of the chips section and numbering of the dialog box Options of paragraph style. If the character style does not exist, you can stay in the operation of paragraph options by choosing 'New Style of character' in the menu. After you create the new style, you're back in the process of definition of the paragraph.

• Problem with nested styles

  Relatively new user of InDesign tries to follow the instructions contained in the help files on creating nested styles, and something weird is happening that I can't understand.

  The goal: create a paragraph for paragraph style, after a break from the scene in a novel with no hyphen and the first [number] of words in capital letters.

  I have the paragraph style and the character in the format style. Each style individually works as expected. But when I select the Style Options > drop caps and Styles nested > new Style nested > choose the character style > via > 4 words > OK, the paragraph begins with the first three words in the normal case and caps are applied to the four words of the first line. Nothing I've tried puts the caps at the beginning of the paragraph and begins to count the number of words from there.

  I'd appreciate any help to ease my frustration. Thank you.

  I'm working on a directory of members. All sections are arranged simply enough, but this one section gives me a headache. I would like to automate creating a nested style, but I didn't understand how to set up the text to work with the nested style. I guess it's something simple and I'm just not see it. You know, so I thought that I would like to tender hand.

  What I have is a trade name, the right leader points (set in the palette tab) tab, and phone number. The name and telephone number must be "BOLD". The points of the leader must be light (because the "BOLD" points seem too big for me).

  So, I have a paragraph to bold text style. I've implemented a character style with the lightness of my regular police. I want to nest the points of light leading in the paragraph "BOLD". The trick is that the names of the companies are all different lengths. Character use to say to apply, then of the Nations United-apply the character style light?

  The document will have about 40 pages of these lists, so I'd really like to be able to automate it as much as possible.

• Problems with nested Styles

  I am creating a style nested in copy CS5. What I want to do is to create the first few words with a certain style of character, then get back on the paragraph style setting. I have the nested style set to end with the end nested style here special character, but it seems to stay in the format of the nested little style matter what I do.

  Just create the nested style to use the character for the first three words style. That's all.

• Help with script to change the network name.

  I made a small script to help me rename the label of network on a portgroup and then correct the label of network on all the virtual machines with this label.

  I came across the problem that it could not update on the virtual machines network label because the portgroup did not exist (this must be because it does not wait for the first order at the end?). I fixed that by doing a line with: "Start-Sleep-seconds 10.

  The script works, but I don't like the solution with 10 sec sleep because it could go wrong if the portgroup takes more than 10 seconds to create (unlikly).

  I tried different things, for example "Wait-task" but without success.

  any ideas?

  Co-worker colleague asked me to post a request here in hopes of getting more support.  Here's the question:

  There are 3 tables associated with this request.  A table of the application, which displays a number of application open for a particular request, an audit table that shows you all employees who worked on this application and one employee who shows you the details of the employee table.  My colleague is trying to understand what, how to see only applications that have been published by a wizard, but not a Manager.  There are a few applications that worked on both, but he won't see this request in its results.

  I'm trying to style some dynamically text. I have an attached css style sheet and it works partially. I got my links to works but now I am trying to add a bit of space under my h1 tag and I can't make it work. When I add the tag I am able to change the font size, but I can't get the line style / height for working. Even when I don't put the line-height property There he leaves a giant space between header and link entry. Just that there is some space.

  Right now in my txt doc I have only the header label associated with the first h1 headers/States.

  My husband put all our photos of drop box.  They are still on our computer, but we can now also access elsewhere.  But it has somewhat modified files.

  I'm putting together, cultures and (in general) to save the changes made to some images.  But I get an error.

  Example: The image I want to change is on the side.  I right-click on the file icon and select "Rotate clockwise" in the menu dropdown. Immediately, I raise the sound "bonk" and an error message appears: "you cannot rotate this image.  The file can be used or open in another program or maybe the file is read only.  It wasn't a problem before doing things to the drop box.

  So, I wait to make sure that everything is ok.  The image is not open anywhere else.  I clicked the properties option to see if it is in read-only mode.  He said that it is not.

  When I open the image and try to use the rotation on the bottom, it will turn.  But when I close the window, I get a different error message that says "Windows Photo Viewer cannot save changes to this picture because there is a problem with the properties of the image file."   There is a link at the bottom of the message box for "Why can't save this picture?  I clicked it.  He said "the subject you are looking for is not available in this version of Windows. For additional assistance, see multiple support options. "The more support options?  Get a tech savvy friend who could help me. Nice.
  Anyone know what I need to do to make this work?
  I don't know what version of windows we have.  I'm sure that's not Vista.  It's the one after that.
