  I have a script that I modified from a script of Alan Renouf (thanks for posting the script), but I'm having a problem with the output.

  The script gets a few details on a hard drive of virtual machines, and this is what is shown:

  VM: VM1

  Path              : {C:\, D:\}

  The script is below, and it is the main problem.  I can show any data if I use - reach ',' on the parts that need it, but I have an if statement that will add another object to "Low disk space", then the drive letter.  I have this for disks that have less than 15 percent of available.  If I use - join, the output goes to a string and if statement I put in quotes below

  The above if the statement will not work if I change one of the lines, for example:

  If I do the above, all the data shows, but the if statement does not work anymore, because now, there's some string data.  I can't imagine a way to use my if statement and to show all the data entirely.  Given that some virtual machines may be small on space, I don't want the "low disk space on ' to show everything.  Any help is appreciated.

• Help with a beach running slow filled iMac ball

  Hello

  We have problems with our iMac, like below. If anyone has any inside. There is plenty of space on the hard drive and I have just run Cocktail to maintain and made sure the operating system is up-to-date.

  We often live very slow behavior in task such as launch of mail, safari or anything else besides and sometimes even just type text in boxes. It is also very slow at startup and shutdown.

  Any help much appreciated. I hope it's useful to include the report of EtreCheck below.

  All software maintenance is in fact slow down your Mac.  The only maintenance that has need for a Mac is back up.  Remove any object to maintain, by asking directions.

  Also, your M-Audio drivers are listed as obsolete in Yosemite.  This means that any M-Audio Midi device to update driver to be useful in El Capitan.

• I need help with an installation failure to interpret and troubleshoot a Setup log.

  Background: A few years ago, many editors of cinema used Final Cut Pro 6 (also contained in Final Cut Studio 2) for their editing projects.  Shared Apple Final Cut X uses a different format that is not compatible with FCP6.  Sometimes, these editors are called to work on a few historical projects that have been published in FCP6 and need this version to run now.

  Starting with OS X Lion, FCP6 would install not in Lion and thereafter.

  According research by Jeremy Johnston as noted on his blog, he discovered that Apple has inserted a file in the folder CoreServices in the Library folder of the system folder that causes versions the version Final Cut Pro X (and other older Apple programs in the same situation) do not settle.  He suggested changes to this file that would seek to prevent interfering with the installation of FCP6 in Lion, many users of final cut PRO 6 were successful in their efforts to install in Lion and work with it.

  First of all, I need advice on how to display an extremely large Setup log in this thread (on MacRumors, it is a method to insert a 'code' in a small box that can be the object of a scrollbar if necessary to read all along).  I am unable to find such a method to post here.

  Then once approved, I need help to determine which component is causing the installation to fail and perhaps this element can be omitted from the installation:

  

  If this element is not required, then maybe FCP6 can be installed successfully without it.  And if that omitted element is necessary, perhaps a manual method to install it can be determined by pacifists.

  I am writing a script to retrieve the last 5 days of application, security and log files from all domain controllers. The script runs, but fire the logs from the local server only. The variable $Computer has all of my DC so it's the fine mark. I guess it's a problem with my line ForEach-Object, but is not error. See the below script.

  Adding or deleting, I deleted Yontoo I have no idea how it it has been downloaded period, I'm at the wheel of a 'XL' that has served me well. My problem is I deleted this Yontoo and forggetaboutit. This program has created 6 file enties 1) %Temp%\Yontoo FFClient.xpi 2)%Temp%\Yontoo IEClient.dll

If I can get these files removed from my machine, then I will devote my time to fix the registry. I say this because my nightmare does not stop there. Believe me when I tell you that this program "YONTOO" goes further because it created another register 16 subkeys. It's like something totally unknown to 'The Wild Wild West of the 21st Centuryt' someone would say enough is enough, but there is still a little to make this complete puzzle. This program goes further and creates and installs what they call 'Rage Page' it is a browser extension that changes the structure of the skin of the 'Facebook' and displays ads that seem to you guessed it "Facebook"... My main wish is that I will be able to get help with the "folders". I'm not a person notified with computers, but then I think that my say you I'm always pushing an "XP" in this era of high-tech a bit gave me there Yes... Anyway any help, you can afford to me will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

• Need help with problems of performance with 14 elements

  I scanned the forums and provided below to help with feedback. At this point, the organizer of the elements is unusable for me - I'm looking for suggestions to help refine the installer to make it usable.

  MY SETUP

  • Just more than 50000 items in the catalog, about 95% of them are photos, videos of rest. 98% of the source files are on a drive to the server in my house, with a gigabit connection.
  • I left full recognition of faces (took two days!) and Yes, during that who was running the organizer was unusable.
  • My PC is an i7 - 4790 k with 16 GB of RAM. Windows Pro 10. Boot drive is SSD.

  THE SCENARIO

  I have a new series of images on my C drive local - images that I scanned, about 30 pictures. Using the view of the pane left records that I navigate to the folder on my C drive. If I move to the tab places it takes about 25 seconds to react and make enforcement appear the places page. If I then go to the people tab it takes about 75 seconds, for the application to respond. In both cases, the application is completely insensitive during the wait.

  Clearly, I can't clean my collection with this kind of response. So here are my questions:

  1. What are the key strategies to improve performance, given my configuration?
  2. Have I not too many objects in the catalog? Should I aim lower number? I saw that there is no actual limit but I feel Im beyond a theoretical limit of messages.
  3. Broken content is to catalog help with questions like this? Is there another internal setting, I should be updated or change?
  4. Given the number of images should I use Lightroom instead?

  The only change that I'm not going to do is to move all the content of my return to my local drive. Sound on the server so that it is completely backed up and protected. So I'm looking for ideas that help given this configuration.

  I can't offer a positive solution to your problem, but I hope to give you some answers or thoughts on this subject.

  Let's start with the description of your case: it's a perfect description of what has been reported in several positions:

  -powerful Installer (computer, SSD)

  -l' use of the recognition of people and/or geolocation

  -use of a NAS for the library.

  -Library of more than 50,000 points.

  -very long indexing, then extremely slow.

  I do not use a SSD (will probably later) or a NAS (I never do). I 65 000 objects and don't care about recognition of face or geolocation, which explains that with a basic setup on I3, 8 GB of RAM, I have an organizing extremely fast speed. Even on an old secondary computer with Vista, it is still quite manageable.

  Your choice is typical of advanced specialists and competent (I guess that less than 1% of the current user of items based). I have yet to see no answer (satisfactory or not...) Adobe staff.

  Given the number of images should I use Lightroom instead?

  I guess that's what Adobe could answer you... and that would be wise. You can use a trial version to make your choice and do a search on the forum for Lightroom. I have not seen similar, even if complaints with NASs, it seems to be a lot to say. Lightroom can convert your organizing catalogs (maybe some problems lately...)

  If the use of the network is primarily to ensure maximum security (for not sharing images), why not would you use the choice to store your library on your computer (internal or external disk) with a sync to your NAS as a backup solution? I can tell you that my workflow includes Windows Synctoy to record each session easily and quickly (catalogs and libraries).

  Your very precise description of the case call to assess each factor of different performance individually. Even if the method above is not the final answer, it could shed light on the influence of the use of the network.

  Splitting the catalog is usually a very bad solution, a number of post seems to show that with the recognition of the people/geotagging, the problems around the range of 50,000 points. You can make a copy of the catalog and remove half of the files to check the influence of numbers point; Maybe it's possible with version 14 (deletion is extremely slow, but worked for me, even if it failed with older versions).

  Sorry, I can't help you there...

  Other factors are using recognition Geotagging and people. Even if you absolutely need those features, disable to see their influence could help Adobe to solve performance issues.

• help with a clipping mask

  I have this item and I want to add a background behind him with the clipping mask so that nothing shows up outside of my my object (bible). I went through tutorials and that works, but it never works when using this object. Can anyone watch and help with why it doesn't work.

  I'm still not clear about what you are trying to achieve because there is nothing red in your illustration. But what rcraighead said, I guess that great shape selected in your screenshot is the object that you want to use as your mask and that you want to fill with red and you want to be able to see through the mask to the illustration of the book...

  You'll need duplicate large form and make sure that it is on top of all your other items. Follow the instructions in rcrighead. If you do not want the shadow to be filled with red, do not reproduce them; just put on top.

  Hello! So, I'm new here and this is my first post. (BTW, I CS6 and spin 10 Pro Windows)

  I have some photos that I need PhotoShop/edit. I take photos which are usually resolution 760 x 1024 and what makes them in 16:9 aspect ratio pictures without stretching it. What I use is Microsoft paint and cut the whole photo, stretching of the canvas up to 1920 x 1080 (16:9 ratio), paste the cut image where I want in the photo, then I select anywhere from 15 to 200 pixels (depending on the photo) of the side and stretch it across the empty space to fill it so the sides are not empty. Having a sense what I do? It has some drawbacks for me however, 1. When upscaling (to facilitate the 16:9) 1920 x 1080 my photos in bulk a few details and objects are a little wavy at the edges should be smooth. 2. when extending over the sides, it tends to not be able to choose the top and low 1 or 2 pixels so I must fill this space using the tools I have. 3. it is extremely laborious when you make several photos and faster I can do best. 4. it is Microsoft paint, sucks compared to PhotoShop, lol, duh. So I need some help with what I've done (the process I explained) makes faster and better.  I Photoshop CS6 (version student and yes I am a student), I have not used but... why the hell not? Well I installed on my PC a year or two before and then had problems of PC so I did a fresh install of Windows and reinstalled never, I thought I was going to need, but don't have, which is why I've never used it. Now, I do some photo editing and thought why not use PhotoShop? I did nothing as deactivate the license on my PC before reinstalling my Windows, whatever? I'm going to do a fresh install of windows on my desktop (first time in two years) on a new 512 GB Samsung SSD Pro 850 and I'm waiting for the SSD happen, so I was thought for now I would just use it on my laptop (1 TB EVO 850), but the license allows multiple PC even if I was the only one to use it? Is also easy/fast to learn PhotoShop? All I have to do is a photo of basic editing. Hope that everything I said is logical.

  Yes, you can install Photoshop CS6 on two machines.

  You had it previously on the same machine and I think you would have to reinstall it on the even later, so that would not cause any problems.

  You can do all of these steps to resize an image in Photoshop without going into the paint.

  In Photoshop, open you picture and go to Image > size to resize and choose the desired image dimensions

  I inherited a logo that appears to use a Logo of OM has a shape with a grad. This grad at first sight is not used in the Grad scheme and there is not editable.  Looking at the transparency palette I find an OM (pic1) output option. If I choose what the grad on separates it from the page of the form, that is from there I can change/remove as required (Note2).

  However, sometimes (he did no change), I'll be back to the same original form and output option is grayed out and is no longer available. Or I go to the similar shape that has the same treatment and I can't go out OM (pic3)

  The only difference is the thumbnail in the transparency palette, which is strong in pic1 and rated on pic3. What Miss me?    I'm not clear what the advantage is simply OM using the Grad palette to apply a grad in my form, but until I can get rid of OM who is there, I can't comfortably apply to the grad I want.

  The white gradient LHS I have no problem with. I choose fortunately only and each time get the possibility of release of OM.
  

  

  The other thing weird. When I select the white gradient. Sometimes, the exit option is in the palette without going through the drop-down list (Fig 4).

  Other times seems not that OM has already been applied, because the palette gives me the ability to mask rather than liberation (5 photos). Until I go to the drop down and then I find Release is an option after all.

  What is the difference here?   Not much of a problem, because either way I can release OM to be able to change the grad.

  The file is passed through several hands and play anywhere to try to resolve issues, and many stops and save slot, so something along the line was of course done a logo and not the other because of the difference, but I can't for the life of me see what that.

  I've (mis) understanding the issues, you can account for the box to the right in the main palette transparency (called thumbnail) here.

  represents the masking objects.

  Some of your screenshots show no object mask, so it only is not really a mask even if do the opacity mask has been clicked and there seems to be one in the layers palette, wherever you look.

  I think that it is perhaps the issue.

• Help with loop of Liquid web app

  I need help with a list of web app for a custom blog items.  Rather than having to categorize each post using the 'Actions' box (which they often forget), I think it would be much more user-friendly for our customers to have just a dropdown categories menu.  Can someone help out me this code, or to provide a more elegant solution?  The loop and the work of IF statement, but I'm having problems with rendering of the element in the IF statement.  When I copy the code of the object model in the IF statement, it restores.  However, I had much rather use a template because it is better - and I would like to know what I'm doing wrong.

  Second, think about why you need to make the module again? You have the item data because you can get the itemid, then why you not only made the rest?

  Finally...

  If you make collection = "" which means that you use the collection that you have you don't need not make = 'collection. " "If you have deleted the template =" "and collection =" ' make = 'collection' means that it will be available in your layout to the list as a collection, rather then one.

  I'm creating an iPad app and need help with interactivity. I have 4 buttons on my page and each of them, when you press on, shows a new info box I realized by using the States of the object. I also created a menu in the form of a scrolling image scrolling in the direction from left to the right of my page. It is however, where I have a problem - because the image that I drew for the frame floating in two covers of my four buttons these two buttons do not seem to work. Anyone know how I can fix this or any way around this problem?
