Help with Windows 7 Professional

Hello world

I've just updated my OS from Vista Home premium to Windows 7 Professional, I did a clean install and everything went well but then I know that Microsoft Office was not install and proceeded to get the update of windows, but it won't work, I try to troubleshoot it with the Microsoft tool and it fixed some issues but still does not work...

Anyone has a solution to this problem, I have spent much time trying to solve this problem any help will be greatly appreciated!

It could take 6 to 10 hours. Before the new version of the Windows client update was issued.

https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3161647

Manually install it. Set never 'Find updates' automatic updates and reboot first. You need to install its prerequisites before KB3020369.

https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/KB/3020369

It is also necessary in the event that you decide to apply the update rollup to convenience.

Best regards, VZ

    Hello. To activate the other native components of Windows, go to start > Control Panel > programs. In "programs and features", you will see "turn Windows features. Go ahead and go to 'games '. Expand it '+' and check out the games you want. Checking the box next to 'games' will add all.

    Francisco,

    You could simply stop the Microsoft Essentials if it's getting in the way.

    Prevent the Microsoft Antimalware Service starts automatically

    If you cannot find the software under the name mentioned in the article, locate the service called Windows Defender.

    The same rule applies: set the service to manual start or disable the service.

    =========================================================================

    Opinions differ on the question of whether Microsoft Essentials / Defender should indeed be removed or If disabling services is sufficient.

    Pouvez Avast! Pro co-exist with MS Security Essentials?

    My 8.1 or OS systems, Windows Defender has been disabled (together) - no problems with Avast first.

  • Motion le1600 with windows xp professional

    I bought this used Tablet and have a world of trouble.  It came with windows xp professional is installed and a drive recovery... made by the seller.  He began to have problems immediately and now (about 10 hours later) it will not load windows at all.  It has a product key on the back, so I was wondering if there was a way to download and make a new record?  Some would help until I give up completely on that.

    Hello

    1. what issues you experienced with Windows XP?

    2. do you get a code error message when you try to load Windows?

    As you already have a recovery disk, you can use it to reinstall Windows.

    Note: You will lose all data on the computer when you try to reinstall Windows using the recovery disk.

    If you still have problems with Windows and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) computer is a new, I suggest you contact the OEM manufacturer.

    Hello JothinVedere

    After you have re-installed Windows XP, you can go on the site Web of Norton and download the software from their part. Once you have downloaded it you should be asked for an email or an account that you configured when you first bought Norton, log. After that, Norton is turned on with the rest of the time for your subscription should be displayed. If you have further questions about Norton, you can click on their link to support here. -J' tried connecting to Windows 7 and Windows XP, nothing works

    -Ping the ip address of the client PC works fine

    If you have any other ideas, I would be very gratefull!

    Thanks to advandce

    You will probably need to open port 3389 on your router so that it maps on the computer that is tuned to the connections of the DRC. It seems that you did all the other steps, but your router can prevent the connection to go anywhere. Here's a detailed guide to configure your router for DRC that can provide some guidance.

  • With Windows XP Professional X 64 expire, what is the replacement? Windows 8 not compatible.

    With Windows XP Professional X 64 expire, what is the replacement? Windows 8 not compatible.

    With Windows XP Professional X 64 expire, what is the replacement? Windows 8 not compatible.

    Windows XP 64-bit is one of those odd elements that does not quite fit in.  It is based on the code of Windows Server (hence why it only goes back to the SP2 not SP3 as Windows XP did) so it is - upgrade (for purchase in any case) options are limited.  Frankly - Windows XP 64-bit is one of these products, most people should have just skipped (in my opinion) - and with this in mind - the replacement for those running it should be to get Windows Vista 64 bit or Windows 7 64-bit or 64-bit Windows 8.  It there just will be no discount to do on monetary incentive plan.

    My suggestion - if your system is good enough, compatible, etc. and you actually * needed * to upgrade (it's not like YOU all just because Microsoft will stop their support extended to it in 2014 - big deal?)  Download Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and clean install.  You can use the free Windows XP (32 bit) MOU to run many older programs, you have * if * you have one that cannot be run under Windows 7 or with the compatibility mode.

    In addition - get an unknown computer (for you).  You can find a lease one or something with Windows 7 64-bit, probably for the same amount you'd pay for a version non - OEM Windows 7, pay a little more and you'll probably have a machine that could handle Windows 8 - If you wish.  ;-)

    ·         You use Internet Explorer to access these sites?

    I don't know why vista windows no longer charge, or when the files and folders disappeared

    How Windows Defender is on this problem?

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
    And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
    Data recovery:
    1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.
    2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.
    3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:
    http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html
    Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm

    Download the Vista software from the link above.

    After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.

    Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.

    Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.

    Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.

    When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.

    Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.

    Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).

    Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.

    See you soon.

    I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit installed and would like to change to Windows 7 32 bit.  How can I do this?

    Usually this is impossible on computers with Windows 7.  In almost all cases, you need to go to the store, buy Windows 7 32-bit and use the CD to install it on your computer.  This also requires the deletion of your system, you will need to reinstall all your programs and settings.

    You must go to the HP site & get a Windows7 compatible driver, when it exists.

    You can also try to make older in this version of Windows programs and see what the Windows 7 Compatibility Center says of this printer.

    Otherwise, you can try the search on the HP LaserJet p1008 in this forum & internet generally for all those who have found a workaround using the printer, despite the absence of a driver that is compatible with Win7.
