    It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

    Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission get full and unrestricted, access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

    It seems that some of your plugins (Shockwave Flash 10.1 r102) might be buggy or obsolete. To check for updates, please visit the plugincheck page. If this does not resolve the problem, try to start Firefox with the disabled modules and see if it helps at all. If so, delete the Shockwave Flash plugin and maybe reinstall or uninstall Firefox and do a new clean install.

  • HP8620: Printer offline, Windows 10, worked fine until a few days ago

    I have a wired network printer, HP8620.  In the last few days, every time I turn on my laptop (HP spectrum), also connected by wire to the network printer is offline - it will not be printed.

    Reports HP print and utility Scan doctor that the printer is offline, but Microsoft Word and other applications do not, print saying the printer is offline. I can solve the problem by turning the printer off and on again.

    I've seen suggestions that it is a problem of SNMP status, but when I go to the printer properties, Ports and select "Configure Port", I get an error message "an error occurred during port configuration", "this operation is not supported", so I can't uncheck SNMP, as suggested elsewhere.  Any ideas?

    Without the help of Adobe I tried to use the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.

    In the user guide for AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool Adobe says contact us if there are errors in the log after you run this tool and guess what there are errors in the log file, but there is no way to contact the Support from Adobe and to get this other file for them. I've been a customer of creative cloud for months, and use that I got from her was ridiculously low all this lack of reliability. I really miss the days you installed only once a year and maybe fix something and then you were set for a year of cruise with your Adobe products. I am very disappointed, and unless Adobe can help I'll leave Adobe forever because there is no excuse to sell something that does not work and do not provide support at the same time. In a last-ditch attempt to get the resolution and since there is no other way for me to get this log file for Adobe I paste the contents of the log file of the AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool here in hope that some support and product engineer will do something about it.   • Since the update a few days ago lost sites often visited on my google search page?

    I used Google for a search engine. Before the update a few days ago, when I opened a new tab, it would give me a Google search page that shows in the lower part of 6 to 9 (forget) boxes inside which were minis first pages of my sites visited most often, so I just had to click on one of the boxes to reach the site I needed immediately.

    Since the upgrade, these boxes have been reduced to 3. If you try to move one of the cover on one of the 3 mini page, you can see that others are attached to the breast but it is impossible to click and go. All sites that were saved, seem to be there, and in each of the 3 boxes but are not accessible.

    Is anyway to recover these boxes separately?

    Firefox automatically adjusts the number of columns that match on the subject: newtab page if you adjust the width of the Firefox window or zoom the page in or out and no longer resizes thumbnails.
    The current version is not resize the image, but instead reduced the number of tiles to fit the current width of the screen, so you can't see the number of columns specified via the browser.newtabpage.columns preference.
    Zoom the subject: newtab page to see more tiles (Ctrl and -).

    Toggle the browser.newtab.preload pref on the about: config page in case of problems with zoom the subject: newtab page.

    You can open the topic: config page via the address bar.
    You can accept the warning and click on "I'll be careful" to continue.

    Thanks for the tip.  It turned out that kind Reader has been commissioning in protected mode.  I changed the setting and it prints now as before.

    I have photoshop editor item 10 and organizer first and I have a Macbook pro 10,9,9

    When I try to open an image with the Publisher of the item or if I try to open the PS Editor directly I see this

    When I click on edit it does not open and I have this window
