• pasting of Clipboard in Excel

  When I copy and paste a Web site into a spreadsheet Excel, the data on the Clipboard do not stick properly and I'm unable to access ALL the paste special options when you try to copy and paste other cells in the same worksheet.   The reason for the same GUID (MSIPackagecode, MSIUpgradecode) is the capture of the individual components of a single configuration. In your case, you could have captured Access 2003 and Excel 2003 in a single Office 2003 configuration. Thus, ThinApp share the same GUID of the original configuration.

  To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. open one of the package.ini and uncomment the code MSIProductCode and MSIUpgrade (by removing ';' at the beginning)

  2. change code both MSIPackagecode and MSIUpgrade for this package. You can do it by changing just a single bit in the 32-bit key.

  For example, if your GUID looks like below,

  MSIProductCode = {2DF388F8-535F-6909-DBBA-288792F19500}

  MSIUpgradeCode = {0B400927-A236-B536-B00A-8961831A298F}
  You can change the values as below. Here I changed only the last piece

  MSIProductCode = {2DF388F8-535F-6909-DBBA-288792F19501}

  MSIUpgradeCode = {0B 400927 - A236 - B536 - B00A - 8961831A 298G}

  3. rebuild the package and test it. It should work now.

• Impossible to use feature "cut and paste" in Word - grayed out. It can be activated?

  No changes, or I've never used to cut or paste before.  Active need to send RESUMES to companies.

  You must first select the text you want to cut or copy (by highlighting by scrolling on it with the left mouse held down).  When you do this the cut and copy options should become available (or you can press CTRL-X to cut or CTRL-C to copy).  Then go where you want and place the cursor and paste the text (or use CTRL-V).

• Problems with the highlighting of the mouse and copy - paste

  When I highlight text in Word 2007 (also in other programs, although Word is where it's the most troublesome), mouse cuts highlight short or he let go when I did not release the button and/or the Treaty as a drag and drop - I try to highlight a phrase, and it highlights a few letters and moves around the line - highlighting is jump autour essentially.

  I use Vista on a HP Slimline; the mouse is HP too, both not quite two years. Don't know offhand specs. I tried to check the single c. double click setting, it is set to double. I tried to delete the registry subkey and rebooting. I tried various diagnostics in Word and Win, and no report a problem. I have no COM add-ins

  Please tell me there is another way to solve this problem!

  In Word 2007, click the Windows orb in the top right corner and select Word options at the bottom next to the exit button.  Click on advanced, then uncheck the "when selecting, automatically select entire word."

  There are also some other options here, you might be interested.

  Great! I agree that the APEX is a great tool that is really underrated. But knowing CSS/JS/AJAX would be a great addition to what provides the APEX out of the box...

• having problems with cut and paste - picture is black

  Original title: copy / paste black blob Hi... I have a problem with sometimes to cut and paste where I eventually stick no more that a "black blob" that seems to be a chart... that is, it can be stretched in a big black blob. Seems to happen especially when you use ctrl c and ctrl x and can be when the target application has not already been opened. Open the target application and use drop-down cut or copy seems to work OK I can say.

  Any ideas how to fix this please?

• How to cut and paste the image of the body of the received email

  I'm trying to cut and paste an image included in the bottom of an email and insert it into a Word document so that you can size and print. I can highlight, cut it with Ctrl C, paste it into the document Word with Ctrl V, but the image doesn't show, although the picture frame appears when I click on the place where the photo was pasted. Framework, but empty, no image. Any thoughts?

  The problem has been resolved - to try and finally understand everything.

  If you encounter this problem, it is perhaps because, unless you know the file format of the inserted picture, programs can not figure it out for you. Place your cursor on the image, right click and save the image under a .jpeg instead of simply copying. Then work with the file .jpeg in any photo management program you use normally - or even insert it in Word.

• Photos of El Capitan do not cut and paste

  It does not try to cut and paste a picture of pictures to Keynote. Other responses it doesn't paste into a Word doc. This problem seems to have ravaged the Yosemite as well. I was not able to find a solution for Mac. Seems odd that Apple would abandon its more useful features. And Ineed to create presentations using photos stored in the Photos...

  1. what exactly happens when you try to copy / paste?
  2. do you receive any error messages?
  3. did you of recent changes on your system prior to this problem?

  Method 1: I suggest to try the steps mentioned below and check if it helps to solve the problem.

  Step 1: Start the computer using safe mode with networking.

  (a) Remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer, and then restart your computer.
  (b) If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the button F8 as your rebooting the computer.
  (c) you need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears.
  (d) if the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by waiting until the Windows logon prompt appears, and then stop and restart your computer.
  (e) in the display Advanced Startup Options, use the arrow keys to select the desired mode safe mode with networking option and press enter.
  (f) log your computer with an user account with administrator rights.

  Check to see if the problem persists in Mode safe mode with networking. If the problem does not occur in Mode safe mode with Networking if you please try the next step.

• Problems copying and pasting text in Muse

  Hi, I am trying to build a new Web site and need to copy and paste the text from the existing site on the pages I've created.  The problem is that the text will automatically highlight and I can't seem to format without underscores.  It does not show it in design mode, but when I click to listen to samples, it is all stressed.  Thoughts on how to fix this?  Yes, I saved and regenerated.  He is always there no matter how many times I try to reformat.  I have tried to highlight all and then turn it off.  Nothing works.  Help!

• formatting lost when cut and paste

  I've been cutting and pasting text from one part of a file to another.  The text to move consisted of several paragraphs.  When I pasted the text in the location in the file, the formatting of the paragraph is replaced by the paragraph format of the paragraph where it was stuck.   I guess that Skype Toolbar messed with the Clipboard, he "said" Windows whenever items are taken into memory (Clipboard) change their plain ASCI text so it can be used to dial a number (Skype Toolbar allows you to select the phone numbers on web pages, email and so on and compose the using Skype).   When I cut and paste a subfolder (which contains the files) to an excel file, the files in the subfolder disappeared. I didn't then properties and wer there are no previous versions of the files. Also note, glued folders are there but not files

  What version of Excel you use (Excel 2003, Excel 2007 or Excel 2010)?

  This problem occurs with a specific folder?

  Is the Excel file that is saved on a network or on the local computer?

  Excel application doesn't have any role in cut\paste of files even if the files contain Excel documents.

  Something to try...

  Insert the Flash drive into a USB port and go...
  Start / computer.
