Many as MSE, Norton, McAfee, AVG, etc., will stop Windows Defender because they have the same functionality, and having two programs running at the same time and make security the same work can lead to conflicts.   The shortcut bar on my home screen showing my icons disappeared, replaced by just an arrow pointing up that I have to click on for all the icons.  How can I get my icons to reappear on my home screen?

  Reset is a temporary solution.  This is a permanent solution.  Put your finger on the arrow and drag it upwards as far as possible.  Now, whenever you turn on your phone, the display will show that a large number of icons.  If, for any reason, you want to that less icons (like maybe only eight or twelve years), only to drag the arrow upwards as far as it takes to display the desired number of the icons.  It will then be the number that appears when you turn on your phone.

  In CS5, I had a bar with some elements, for example, "forms", "Tables"... When I got to work with forms I clicked this button and another bar with icons of form element is displayed (entry, button +) to quickly select what to insert. I can't see how to display this bar if it still exists, or by what it has been substituted.

• Info on reading missing bar button

  In Captivate 5 documentation it is said that an info button is visible on all the bars reading.  This "info" button would display the project information provided that the information has been added to the preferences.

  However, no matter what I do, I can't get the information bar to display on any published project.  I currently publish as a .exe file.   What I am doing wrong?

  Well I thought I'd try anyway and found it works.  I copied the models of Captivate 4 folder and place it in the Captivate 5 installation directory (renaming the template folder C5) and I was able to publish my project with the information button using the default playback bar.

  Task background missing bar when I have a Web page open, I use windows 8... Why? Help!

  Yes I fixed... The window size was not a problem, the taskbar settings are all correct and I was already using Chrome will understand!

  But a light bulb went off and I checked the Chrome settings and selected "Chrome recovery in desktop mode" and bingo all is well again. Of course, I know now that in windows mode 8, there is no task bar which is rubbish, anyhoo its all fixed now but thanks anyway Mary

  I miss bars scrolling, garbage and other icons in the Launcher pages window. I handed to the default workspace, restarted the program and the computer and "recorded under" and I can't get back them. I guess I hit a button and it has messed up. Help!

  Something has changed. The status bar disappeared. The only way I seem to be able to leave Firefox is to close.

  First of all, you can check that Firefox is not in his view full screen where the Windows task bar is hidden. The F11 key toggles between the normal modes and full screen.

  If Firefox hides the taskbar of Windows in normal mode, a file that stores the dimensions of Windows Firefox may be damaged. If you are not able to resize the window manually, you can delete this file for Firefox back to its original size.

  To try to manually resize:

  Press Alt + space to display the system menu of the Firefox window, and then click the size (or press S) and press the arrow down once, then the arrow upwards once. This will usually move the bottom of the Firefox window to the visible area of the screen. If it is not visible, try pressing the arrow upwards several times, or for a while. To complete the editing of size, press ENTER.

  If the window is maximized, then size is grayed out. This is normal, and this method won't help.

  To delete the settings file:

  Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

  • (menu bar) Help > troubleshooting information
  • type or paste everything: in the address bar and press Enter

  In the first table of the page, click on the view file"" button. This should launch a new window that lists the various files and folders in Windows Explorer.

  Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

  • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
  • (menu bar) File > Exit

  Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename xulstore.json to something like xulstore.old. If you see a file named localstore.rdf, rename this to localstore.old.

  Launch Firefox back up again. Windows normally appear again?

  You can activate missing bars (menus, toolbar bookmarks bar) using the list on the toolbar, which you can view by using one of the following:

  • Right-click on a zone empty of the tab bar, or click the "+" button on the tab bar
  • Press the Alt key to activate the classic menu bar, and then view > toolbars
  • on the Customize tab, use the button "show/hide Toolbar" (controls, buttons, and Toolbars Customize Firefox)

• Twist cannot pull up bar charms with touchscreen

  Thus, for some reason any charms bar is no longer comes with the touch screen. It will come out with the mouse and the touch screen seems to work fine otherwise. I calibrated the screen, and I always feel the question. Anyone have any suggestions, or is it time to call Lenovo and having the screen / digitizer replaced?

  Thank you! I'm not in this thread because I have the same question on a cold start. My touch screen works fine other than the issue of bar of charms.

  So I searched in the thread and noticed that technot fixed his charms bar problem by resetting the calibration data. I did the same thing, and it works perfectly now!

• Photosmart HP B210a more: HP Photosmart Plus B210 missing Scan software

  Hi all

  OK, Ive problems (two hacks, printer malfunctions, 1 disk repair, etc. over the past months) my Mac for the last two days, I restored Mac OSX 10.10.4 successfully and everything is well save for my printer as indicated above. I didn't know the usefulness was eliminated when I upgraded to Yosemite and it was hogging my CPU with a processing loop that was killing my Mac (I call her Alice!...)). So, I did get them all today my research on what went wrong with these processes which lead me to upgrade drivers Max OSX Yosemite and tried troubleshooting through:

  (a) installation of printers, their uninstall through the system preferences/printers and Scanners to verify that the drivers are there, I installed via the using field list driver HP Photosmart Plus B210, who can confirm print successfully without any trail of CPU (I uninstalled the HP before this point utility).

  (b) tried to get into the system preferences/printers and Scanners / where I chose "Scan" in the window of the printer and it says "SCAN SOFTWARE does IS NOT INSTALLED" (see attached printer screen)

  

  (c) I installed the driver in the development of window for HP Photosmart Plus b210 series that SHOULD allow the printer and scanner to work from my window System Preferences/printers and Scanners, I've lived more troubleshooting try to import a scan of the system of preferences/Applications/Image Capture and preview also. The two scan attempts to import sent the same message, lack of scan software when I tried via the printers & Scanner on System Preferences window.

  So frustrasting as she is, I set up a test on the printer to use the port MMC to scan an image of the window of the printer to the MMC card, that I inserted in the printer and it worked to prove that the software of the printer works on scan, but not directly with my Mac. Printing software is confirmed later, brings back me to my Mac and his missing scan software.

  This seems to be missing and appropriate drivers that should make the impression (works fine, no trail of CPU as before) as well as scanning (missing software problem). Does anyone know how I can fix this and if I need to download software drivers or anything please provide your console if necessary with links to what I need...

  Try to update the software by following these steps:

  Click on the Apple icon, then select about this Mac.
  Click software update, and then click the Store from the top of the indicated window menu and click on reload the Page.

  Be sure to install any update HP or Apple, then check for the difference.

  If it persists, try manually install the package below. Tjen try to scan the image:

  If for a particular combination of sparse dimension, #MISSING get appears on the form of opening data then does that mean that the block is present for this combination?

  Most likely if his #Missing for each combination of dense then it isn't. (Exception is nothing you did manually #Missing to database, it creates the blocks)
  You check the same to remove blocks of #Missing in the layout of the column line of the data form.
