• CLIQ XT 1.31.44 - touchscreen problems (HELP)

• OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus connection problem - HELP!

  I have a strange problem: after a few hours, the communication link fell between the computer and the printer.  In this case, IE becomes unusable and not connect what either.  It is replicated on three XP Home machines.   The fourth, a vista ultimate machine, doesn't seem to be affected (yet).  I get the error "the computer scan is disabled.  It cannot be reactivated.  At this stage I can't print.  I can reach the web server embedded on the printer via firefox and can still surf using firefox.  I can ping the printer, but again, once the connection is dropped, no printing or scanning the computer.  The only thing I found that solves this problem (temporarily) is to restart the computer, which starts the cycle again.

  Wired LAN works fine and connects to the small network of 10 Base T ethernet with Internet connection sharing. IP addresses are automatically assigned by DHCP on the gateway computer.

  Problem is when I try to use or wireless LAN configuration to connect to an existing gateway used by two other laptops. Windows detects the device without problem but will age for the acquisition of the IP and advises when there is limited connectivity (fact ConfigFree). Before you install updates I use option that updates available View to see what is stated exactly. I removed all the checkmarks in front of optional updates.
