  Hello

  is there a way to make a FxV unique hit counter for specific web pages?

  (1) I don't want to post multiple in the same session - as if the user click on the 'back' button and access into the page again.

  (2) Unfortunately, our web page design reuses the same name of the page - as splash.do, but has a runtime context variable.  I want to only capture charges for the first time that the splash.do is hit.  But if the user navigates to another page in the path of purchase which is also called splash.do - I don't want to count it, press.

  Mark,

  I don't know what is the best approach.  Here are two ideas to consider.

  Option 1 - create a successful filter which updates a session custom field only if the custom field is already filled.  The first time of the session, that the field is updated, the metric will update.  Then the filter hit will not be matched again for this session.

  It is an example.

  

  Option 2 - create a session filter.  In the filter of the session, match using a filter of success which is only splash.do.  If any session with URL/path of this updates the metric.  Session filters only updated at the end of a session, so it will match only once.  The filter of success for splash.do will have a lot of matches, but the session filter will update only once if there is a corresponding success.

  One of these give a try.

  Success counters are meaningless.  They do not tell you or your site visitors anything accurate or useful. So don't waste time with them.

  Google Analytics is running in the background.  Among other things, GA followed by measures of code:

  • old, and unique hits
  • where these hits come from - by region of the world, research on organic web, other websites, etc...,
  • How long they stay - bounce rate,
  • how they interact with your site - what links they click, pages visited, etc...,
  • What browsers and web devices people use,
  • and much more.

  GA is free and it fits perfectly with your Google Webmaster Tools account (also free).

  2.       How to add the rating stars for the music and video, so that people may be able to rate / vote for the best song/video of the month.

  How do you know that GA or any other service of statcounter is accurate? It's quite accurate. GA uses the same technology to save its stats like any other statcounter. Not looking for any meaningful stats, just page views by visitors. GA provides no useful statistics anyway and they can not be displayed to visitors, so forget the GA to your needs.

  People care about stats success. When I replied to your thread I saw how many views there and who determined my decision to respond. If there are multiple views and several answers, I guess that the wire is too close, and I would not answer. View stats make a difference and viewers care of the it. When I seqrch a video from YouTube, I usually choose to display the result with the most views. Nobody cares about stats success huh? It's a complete load of Bull. Nobody cares about people who say nobody cares about stats success when you're in a thread asking how to hit his stats on a website is a more accurate statement.

  I run a mac mini as a music server, this unit has all the physical files and plays music most of the time.

  Next to it is my air that I use for work, and there is another mac at home. These two are connected to iTunes game / iCloud. If I ever play music with one of them, I listen to icloud. Works very well. But: the game number is synchronized between the 2 'streamers', but not to the main unit (the mini with the physical files), and every song I play on the mini won't get counted. New files added to its library through and appear on all macs connected, however.

  It's as if as if treats Mac all connected, even about their iTunes libraries, but makes a difference between a file it plays of the cloud and those he plays locally. ITunes is really make a difference between files that are available locally and the same files downloaded on iCloud?

• WIRELESS SCANNING HP PRINTER FOR MAC OS X LION DOES NOT - PRINTER SAYS COUNT NOT DETECTED?

  Hi there I just do a fresh install of lion on my Apple Imac - 27 "and did the UPDATE SOFTWARE Apple to install new drivers for my printer Officejet Pro 8500 A910. When I had previously snow leopard I used the installation cd to set up the printer and I could scan the computer to the printer - my computer is displayed in the analyze menu on the printer - after I installed Lion and did a new install of HP drivers via UPDATE APPLE HP prescribed this feature is not WORKING? Is anyone else having a similar problem? What is strange, is the UTILITY of HP software on the mac can see the printer - I can print to it - even USE THE SCAN SOFTWARE on the COMPUTER and BUT I can NOT put in WORK SCAN wireless using the HP printer menus? Any help would be welcome

• The hit counter on my site no longer works on Firefox, but still works in me. How should I do?

  I have a free (by easycounter.com) visitor on my site meter. It worked fine in Firefox (3.6.16) and MS Internet Explorer.
  Yesterday, I noticed that he is no longer with Firefox but still works fine with MS IE.

• video to AutoPlay causes the hit counter to double count

  on my site, I have a video playing immediately the value (autostart). but for some reason when you view in FF, which makes my .php hit the increment of the counter by 2 (or sometimes even 4).

  on other pages that have videos that are played manually, the counter works fine. But if I add the video to AutoPlay, the Soundtracks meter upward.

  chrome doesn't have this problem on all pages, neither is IE.

  No, I mean change your PHP so that if there is no image real separate poster, you do not include the poster attribute at all. It is not necessary if you want as the first frame of the video displayed. See: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/HTML/Element/video

  so your troop in this case, which is a giant (giant_mc) walks when it reproduces until it hits the enemyHouse then it stops and goes to frame 9 his offensive frames, but that doesent happen he walks right past the enemyHouse and it dosent stop and animate.

  Your design is a failure because of the way in which you are coding.  Just do things because they work is not helping you solve the problems of things that do not work.

  I would recommend that you stop placing code 'on' objects and start using the calendar for all of your code.  Place the code on the objects is a bad habit.

  Here you can use the code that replaces everything you have shown so far and it is placed on the timeline.  I removed the useless lazy code (like Treasury = 0);.  For this code, you must assign an instance name of your button (I use 'btn' in what I watch)...

I tried having friends access to the entire site just to check if I get a different IP address but its 216.251.42.XX again

  OK I found many forums on this subject, but none that answered my question. I would like to add a visitor counter to a registration page detailed that count hits a specific record. (for example. http://nameofmysite.com/detailed.php?recordID=300)
  
  I don't need results to display on any page, but I don't want to save the number in my main database named 'Page' in the field of 'Hits '. A session that variable would be nice. At the end of the day, I am trying to create a section of ten albums based on the number of visits. Help, please!

  Restart your Mac and then try the command-T Safari shortcut keyboard.

  Command + T works fine on Safari / El Capitan v10.11.2 for me.

• PopUpManager.remove () does not work

  I'm developing an application that uses instances of TitleWindow to display information. I had problems with pop - up in which clicking the 'closeButton' has that a noticeable effect, it no longer responds to drag events. It would be okay if the instance were not as visible. The popup is placed in a canvas container, don't know if it's hit or not. I finally managed to make this work, it is interesting by removing the < mx:Style > element of the main application mxml file. The complete code, using a smaller example, is attached. Any explanation would be greatly appreciated. Still more appreciated it's tips on getting in fact it works as I would that he (i.e., with the style).

  Thanks to all for the replies. Turns out my problem have to do with setting incorrectly the parent of the pop-up window.

  In BrokenPopup.as, dragDropHandler(), instead of using the PopUpManager I ended up adding the new BrokenPopupComponent object as a child of the object Canvas container identified as 'popupCanvas' in BrokenPopup.mxml. Not sure why the original implementation did not work properly, but I want the popup to be a child of the canvas and PopUpManager does not appear to support.
