  I applied "Lens distortion" of the "Deformation" Video Effects to a clip, the tire corners image distortion, revealing white. I would like this to be white not, infact I wish it were 'Black' as when there is no image or video on certain parts of the screen in the sequence in question. The same thing happens when using other effects as "Point of view camera" folder "Transform" (uh, Ben?).

  May 18, 2016, I got a new laptop from Alienware 17 R3 game that now drives me crazy. The laptop has Windows 10 Home 64 - bit OS, no update made when I have the problem.

  The problem: Friday, may 27, 2016 during the night, all of a sudden when I played in the world of warships, I started to hear distortion in my right earphone, this day I didn t much attention. Saturday, may 28, 2016, I tested the speakers and I can hear the distortion in the right speaker, but only in certain frequencies and most noticiable at volume high. I have Sound Blaster recon3di, if I test a sound cinema, I can hear it clearly, the problem is with sounds such as Windows and high sounds, I heard a terrible distortion in the right speaker, is like when a sound is too loud and produce vibrations. Is the same if I use headphones and loudspeakers, I have the same problem, using both.

  I've updated all the drivers, the last in the Dell Web site, regarding the audio drivers, I tried repeatedly, without success. I called today the customer and told me to send the computer to fix, they will evaluate if its hardware or software related. I know that I can't solve the problem by myself, but at least I want to know, do you think is the problem hardware or software?

  Usually, when you have the sound coming through the speakers AND the headphones - usually it is software, but could be material.

  What I would do, is test the audio, changing the audio driver Creative SoundBlaster Recon with the audio driver native Windows. Here are 2 ways to do this.

  1. open Device Manager (found in the Control Panel, or type devmgmt.msc in the search box).
  2. develop the 'audio controllers, video & game' and right click on Creative SoundBlaster Recon.
  3 Select this option to "Update driver software".
  4. click on "Browse my computer for driver software".
  5. click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers on my computer".
  6. put the "Show compatible hardware" check box if not already checked.
  7. in the list of devices, click on 'High Definition Audio"(native driver).
  8. click on "next".
  9. in the update driver warning box, click 'Yes' (the driver).
  10 restart the portable computer if you are prompted. If not invited, so no need to restart.
  [To return to the Creative SoundBlaster Recon pilot, do it again but reverse steps 2-7 names].

  Sometimes this method does not work with Windows 10, then here is the other method, below.

  The other way to switch to the native audio driver is to remove all the Creative SoundBlaster Recon driver files.
  1. open Device Manager
  2. expand the section sound, video & game controllers.
  3. right click on the Creative SoundBlaster Recon and select uninstall.
  4. check the option to remove the software driver, click ok.
  5 reboot the laptop and go back to Device Manager and check again a Creative SoundBlaster Recon pilot. Keep the uninstall & reboot up to Creative SoundBlaster Recon is no longer under his... Controllers and "High definition Audio Device" appears in its place. "High definition Audio Device" is the name of the native driver.

  [The reason why you have to go through the process more than once is because the driver for several drivers Creative SoundBlaster Recon files could be on the hard drive.] When a Creative SoundBlaster Recon driver is deleted, the following is installed if Windows can locate files. Windows installs the generic driver that after all the Creative SoundBlaster Recon files were deleted.]

  If you have only the symptoms with one of the drivers, then the other is at fault. If you have the same symptoms with two audio drivers, then it is more likely to be a hardware problem.

• Anomaly in audio export between the body and SOUL

  After the 2015.3, I'm having a problem with the SOUL. I have a series of interviews that only dialogue and a bed of music below for audio. It is mixed and sounds good in the body, but when I send to SOUL he's dating all massively compressed and the mixture is off, leaving the crushed dialogue way down in the mix. If I export directly the body looks exactly like the mixture on the timeline, but SOUL does this compression thing.   My associate editor recently experienced something similar. At first, it sounded like the compressor and Equalizer were not translated to SOUL because the end result was so quiet. Then I had to apply a slight heavy distortion to the clip and export again, and the distortion through. This leads me to believe that the effects were going through, but were dropped significantly the output levels. Standardizing the effect was not enabled in the SOUL, and there are no other parameters that must have caused this, so we were puzzled. I did have the time to file a bug detailed, so in the meantime I have him through the creation.

  The biggest problem, that's what I said about your comment on YouTube - the head and body + symbols in front of them, which means they were acting independently. Removing those and do some other fixes (fixed feet, stapling independent members) should help him hopefully.

  Our IT Department has just updated our machines to 2015.2 of the body, and now the zoom in/out keys seem to work differently.   Unfortunately, none of the above. First thing I did was go shortcuts keyboard remap zoom in and Zoom out (in sequence) of my personal choice of keys and now all they do is change the height of the video track.

  EDIT - problem solved. It turns out that I traced Zoom in/out for the same default keys that are used to increase/decrease in the height of the video track, but first did not remove the mapping by default (as you would expect to happen when you remap it to a shortcut that is already in use). As well the functions zoom and track height have been assigned to shortcuts, and the height of the track "earned" ones All I had to do was remap track height to the keys I don't use, and now everything works fine.

  Also: when the dynamic link was introduced, I managed to get an overview of the projects agency rather complex in real time. Now, even though my dynamically linked AE project has a JPG image, I can't preview anything without first (at best, I get very jerky playback). I have not changed a thing on my system apart to have downloaded the updates of Adobe.

  The reason why I am writing here rather than to contact Adobe support, is that my experience with them is of 30 minutes on the phone, having to present the problem and myself three people each time from the beginning and get "it's a bug" as a response. After sending the e-mail, solutions include uninstall plug-ins and third-party 3rd and tests (Needless to say, exchange of hardware and all software to a new ecosystem is altogether easier than that.)

  Let me answer myself (re: problem 2 - applies to other resolutions as well)

  The problem is with the workspaces created by the user (which is a bug in the body that has to do with workspaces created by the user). Using one integrated workspaces (and even that twist to its taste) make the problem disappears.

  Adobe support suggested the fault with a Thunderbolt defective cable, even though I pointed out the problem is identical in the two separate system configurations with three different cables. Personally, I preferred the "it's a bug" - answer.
