How autodiscover Services JMX

We have many parameters that our systems to publish that we want to expose by Hyperic HQ. It seems that the generically to achieve this is to use the MxMeasurementPlugin and the Sun JVM 1.5 server type. But according to the literature, "Sun JVM 1.5 instances don't are not currently auto-découvertes."

What would take to get the services to be auto-decouvert and collect measurements through JMX? I write my own custom plugins?

Thank you

    Hello:

    You can go directly to SP3 if you use XP SP1a.

    Download the file on another PC, copy it to a CD or USB flash drive and run it on your ze5470us.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=24

    If SP3, you cannot install without SP2, then here is the link to download SP2.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=28

    Ignore references to network installation.  You can use this file to install on one PC running the exe.

  • BlackBerry Curve 3 G smartphone - how do service blackberry internet?

    Hi all

    I bought a blackberry on 24-month contract with virgin, but after playing with a little, I realized I can not configure a personal e-mail account or get BBM to work... I think it's because I don't have blackberry internet service. However, when I try to sign up for this he asks my ESN/MEID I do have it (I looked on the box I have IMEI). He then told me to go to the host routing table (where it says * no * entries) and opt for 'register now '. I did but nothing happens and am now a bit stuck as to how I can sign up for the service internet blackberry, or get my email/bbm to work.

    Any advice will be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hi there robl33 and welcome to the forums!

    You'll want to start by calling Virgin and get them to register on BIS, which is a special BlackBerry data plan that must be added to your account.  They can you currently have on a non-BlackBerry data plan, which would be the source of the problems you are having.  Once they put in as a customer of BIS, you should be all set.

    For some unknown reason, the folder serices.msc in the administration in the Control Panel tools wants to use Adobe Reader to open the file. Of course, it does not open. What program I need to change the 'Open with' dialog box to read? I have Windows Vista.

    I understand that you are unable to open services.msc and when you try to open the same, it tries to open with Adobe Reader.

    Facing this problem with another program/application or tool?

    This seems to be a problem with the Windows file association that went wrong. We will try to correct this. To do this, try the following.

    • Open default programs by clicking the Start button, click default programs.
    • Click on associate a type of file or Protocol with a program.
    • In the list of available file types, find .msc and click it to select it. At the top right of the screen click Change program.
    • Click Browse and navigate to C:\Windows\System32. Scroll the list of the files (not folders) and mmc, click to select it and click Open. Click Close. See if it helps.

    So that you know in Windows 7 is not available from Microsoft software.

    There are third party software for the exercise of such functions, you can use your favorite search engine to search and find the same thing.

  • How Business Service (file protocol) can read the location of the server XML file

    Hi Experts,

    I have a use case where I have to expose a Web service and as a response, I send a large xml (size max would be 18 MB).

    Customer <>- ProxyService (exposed as a Web service) <>- BusinessService (File protocol) < - read - > File.xml

    Here the xml response must be stored in the "SomeName.xml" file in the directory of the same server share path.

    So when the Client calls ProxyService, inturn would call it BS, where BS inturn would have read the contents of the xml file and pass it back as a response to the customer via PS

    Challenge is here using Protocol of file I can't do BS to read the xml file, instead his writing in a new file with conent as input message.

    Can someone let me know is it possible to read a xml file using business service.

    Note: I know that the PS can read a file using the Protocol of files, but my BS need use cases to read the contents of the file.

    Any quick response is more significant.

    Thank you

    Deba

    Cannot use the OSB in this case file adapter, you need to use a file in OSB JCA adapter. Specifically, what is called a 'synchronous reading' JCA adapter type file. Can be created in JDeveloper and then pulls in EPCO, can then be invoked as you want to extract the contents of a file synchronously in a proxy stream.

  • Service packs how do I need?

    I have Windows XP and an old Dell tower which was given me already setup. I looked at the list of programs installed and how much Service packs you need? What I keep and what I remove? MSXML 6 (KB973686) MSXML 4.0 SP2 (KB973688) MSXML 4.0 SP2 (KB954430) then theres Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 SP 2,3.0 SP 2,3.5 SP 1. As do I and what can I delete? It also has Microsoft Works 2001 installation Launcher.There are a lot of programs that I'm not sure. I'm no computer expert, that's why I'm here. Please feel free to stop me from ruining my PC. Thank you. jeannine420carol

    jeannine420carol,
    For Windows XP, you must have service pack 3.  If you click Start > right click on my computer > click on properties; that will tell you what service pack you are running.  The .net and MSXML are Windows components that use programs to run.  There are different versions of these components, and some of them have their own service packs.  Unless you know what that all programs you run need to work, then you should leave them in place.

    However, given that you have received a used PC I would say recharging the system to the factory settings.  Dell should have provided recovery disk to restore the system failing factory.  If there is no any drive, it is possible that there is a partition on the hard drive containing the recovery information.  You would need to check with Dell for your specific model on how to perform a factory restore.  If you do this, then you will be a "day one" configuration on the PC and should not have a bunch of components installed.  The factory restore now is just what I would do personally.

    Hope that helps.

  • Service connections include JMX plugin "SOAP."

    If I put this in a JMX plugin to connect to a properly configured on 'hostname' JMX server, it will connect?

    "service: jmx:soap://hostname:8080/axis/services.

    BJ

    Hi BJ,.

    We have tried with the jmxmp connector, see the bottom of:
    http://support.Hyperic.com/display/hypcomm/advanced+JMX+plugins

    It is for use with the existing jmx - plugin.xml and tested without doubt at the time with a 1.4 jre.
    If this does not work in your plugin.jar/lib directory, try adding SOAP connector jar (s) to pdk/lib /.

    You cannot access JMX for a Web page, you must write a JMX client to access the information. An easy way to do this for debugging purposes is to use the jconsole, which is distributed with your JDK.

  • How to get the name of the server instance

    Hi all!!

    First of all, sorry if this is not the place to leave this question, but I didn't know where to post.

    I have a weblogic 9.2 MP3 installed in a x 64 Redhat Linux. It is clustered in 2 cases.
    An application is deployed in both cases, each request between two instances of balancing.

    Of course, a request is responsed by only one instance, and I would like to know how to get the name of the instance that processes a request of some.

    I read that I can send using recorded weblogic mbeans in this way:
    InitialContext ctx = new InitialContext();
    MBeanServer mbean = (MBeanServer)ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/jmx/runtime");
    Then
    ObjectName rs = new ObjectName("com.bea:Name=RuntimeService,Type=weblogic.management.mbeanservers.runtime.RuntimeServiceMBean");
    Set beans = mbean.queryNames(rs, null);
    And finally I iterate over the beans, but I'm not able to retrieve the name of the instance. I suppose that the object name is not appropriate.

    However, I am able to get the name of the server and the two names of instances per a JMX connection to service:jmx:t3://localhost:7001/jndi/weblogic.management.mbeanservers.domainruntime, but this isn't what I want because I need to know what is the instance that is a certain demand.

    Anyone know how I can do?

    Thank you very much and sorry for the English xD

    Published by: mamntc02 on 01/05/2010 05:10

    That should do it...

    private String getServerName() throws Exception {}
    try {}
    Context ctx = new world;
    MBeanServer mbeanServer = (MBeanServer)ctx.lookup("java:comp/env/jmx/runtime");

    String runtimeServiceName = "com.bea:Name = RuntimeService, Type = weblogic.management.mbeanservers.runtime.RuntimeServiceMBean;

    Create ObjectName for the runtime
    RuntimeService ObjectName = new ObjectName (runtimeServiceName);

    Get the object for the ObjectName ServerRuntimeMBean name
    ObjectName serverRuntime = mbeanServer.getAttribute (runtimeService, "ServerRuntime") (ObjectName);

    Get the name of the server
    String serverName = (String) mbeanServer.getAttribute (serverRuntime, "Name");
    If (serverName == null) return "";
    otherwise return serverName;
    }
    catch (Exception e) {}
    throw e;
    }
    }

  • JMX with custom keystore

    How can I use the JMX monitors, if I have a custom SSL key file?   Using JConsole follow these steps:

    JConsole - J - Djavax .net .ssl .trustStore = trust.jks

    But how to translate this in terms FMS/JMX?

    Please advise - thx - pd

    Heh - after some screwing around with other settings - I ended up doing the following (which works)...

    1. On the host target of the agent, using keytool, use the 'importkeystore' option to move the private key from the keystore trust.jks to the cacerts file in the/jre/lib/security/cacerts of (I had 2 JRE I did both to ensure): keytool importkeystore-srckeystore sslKeyStore - destkeystore /jre/1.6.0.21/jre/lib/security/cacerts (this will prompt you for password cacerts file - changeit and your source keystore password if it needs a).
    2. Restart the instance of FGLAM to pick up the new SSL key to use JMX SSL.
    3. A new JMX agent with a single installation connection string: service: jmx:rmi://xxx.xxx.com/jndi/rmi://xxx.xxx.com:8686/jmxrmi
    4. Once connected (YES!) and then build your server model as you wish

    Thought this might help someone else uses SSL for JMX (usual safety requirement) and monitoring of the FMS

    Yes, I'm happy - so sue me
