  • BlackBerry Smartphones to check how many SMS's on my phone

Hello, I was wondering if there was a way to see how many SMS are on my 8120.

Ive found that it can contain 1003 messages with all o apps installed, so I want to remove them before delete themselves.

Ive looked through the options and the have not seen. But I remember watching this part on my phone, don't know where, but it shows how many SMS, how many custom words, pointed out how, contacts, etc. I forgot how to get to this menu, anyone know?

Use the backup and restore feature in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software. Select the advanced option and once the databases are met, you should be able to scroll down and see the total number of SMS messages that are on the device.

  • How can blackBerry smartphones, I check the free memory on my card?

I'm getting occasional "messages from memory", but I don't know that I have a lot of memory on my 2 GB SD card.

In the management of media cards (or other) it is said: Total memory 1.8 GB free memory 1.8 GB, which is also difficult to believe because I have 2-3 fairly large programs installed, and a handful of photos, so the part of the memory should be used?

    Advice appreciated!

    Thank you!

  • How blackBerry Smartphones wipe a backup and security for Blackberry Curve.

Hi all, first time poster, second spectator of time... If that makes sense!

New jobs and support of BlackBerry devices for the first time (mainly because I have one, ergo;) I'm an expert!). No problem it's always good to learn new things...

Well, that's my problem - I have a user who cannot respond to emails - I have read some posts that were all on the money as to why and how to solve them. My problem is I have to perform a back up and wipe security, but do not know how and was hoping someone could guide my way. What is a professional user I won't spoil and lose\delete his email and addresses, etc.

It is important that we use Notes and Domino (Boo!) instead of Outlook and Exchange? And it is an easy process?

    Thank you very much.

Follow these steps for peripheral storage BlackBerry-

    1. connect your device using the USB cable

    2. click on the backup and restore

    3. click the backup button

    4. Select the location where you want to keep the backup data

    5. click on Ok to continue

Note: I have described the process according to desktop manager 4.5. You can download it here.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Spell Check disappear

Hi all. I have an interesting situation and could not find the answer here or on BBforums.com.

One of my users, who use an AT & T 8310, orthographic corrector function, is missing almost completely. After the failure of your handheld, it will be there. I can't even turn on Mobile network and it will always be there, but when I activate it on the BES, it will disappear. He went from the main menu of Options and Messages > list of Options.

Any ideas? This looks like a set it is the installation program that is backed up on the BES, but I don't know where to go to fix the problem.

  • How blackBerry Smartphones should long battery last?

How long the battery put on a full charge with normal use.

I have my light screen set at 80%, with disabled Bluetooth.

Batteries are not like the 'old' where it was recommended that you drain the battery before recharging.  With these new batteries Li-ion (Lithium ion), you want to avoid to fulfil completely because it can actually damage the load capacity of the battery.  It is difficult to say what is the magic number, but most people recommend to avoid to go below 15% of costs.

When you say you've been 9 hours, what you do with the phone?  You look at a lot of videos?  If so, that will drain your battery a lot faster.  I usually have to charge my phone most nights from one day to the next, but I typically 60% power left by the end of the day (and this is with a decent amount of use of the browser, etc.).
