Problem random micro LifeChat LX-3000

I bought the helmet at Christmas and have had no problems until today. I was talking on teamspeak so only ingame of troubleshooting 2 when I noticed that no one could hear me, I looked at and it appeared no sounds through the microphone, I rebooted teamspeak think that's where the problem was, I used the Skype test call and no noise was there. I looked at other threads on this site and tried the techniques, they fixed for 2 minutes, then my microphone cut again, if someone could help I would appreciate it really as voice chat is vital for me. Sorry if this is in the wrong category

Hi EJFinman,

Thank you for visiting the Windows community.

What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried?

In a first step to solving problems, try to configure the Microsoft LifeChat as default playback device.

When you use the Microsoft LifeChat headset, you hear any sound through the loudspeaker.

If the above is not enough, you can reinstall the drivers LifeChat LX-3000.

To uninstall the LifeChat software, see this link.

    Hello

About a year ago and a half years, I bought the Lifechat LX-3000 headset. They worked great for a long time, but now it seems they are mess up :(
Two weeks, I was on my desktop Windows 7 Professional x 64 and I was getting complaints my microphone on Skype is gone completely silent and occasionally during these moments of silence, would that make a really loud cracking sound. Then I tested it in the tape and confirmed that there was a problem. He plugged out and back in and it was great to work for about 5 minutes, then he started again. I then plugged into an USB extension cable 2 meter to which he was previously connected and it worked great again for like 3 days.
3 days later, he did it again despite it was connected to the back of the PC. I then plugged on the front of the PC, and it worked great for like 4 days.
Today, I'm sitting here on my Windows laptop, 8 x 64 and the sound went away completely. I assumed initially that I had eliminated the USB so I plugged it on then back in and it worked very well. He then did again as three minutes later. Now, its been almost 20 minutes and it works well again.
Anyone has any ideas at all? They are in good condition because they are a year and a half, they never took to big drops, the best that I would do is lay on my bed.
    * EDIT - however, no matter how the music is now, always adjust. Initially I thought it was a problem of power, but now they work very well: o

  • sensitivity Microsoft lifechat lx-3000 too high (problem of noise cancellation)

I bought a Microsoft LifeChat lx-3000 microphone a few months before and never found out how to reduce the sensitivity of my microphone. In a conversation with my friends, they pretend to hear a lot of noise and it's almost quiet in my house. How can I solve the very high sensitivity to a sensitivity much more low where they can ONLY hear me when I talk?

Thank you for taking the time to look at my problem!

EDIT: Seems to be more of a noise canceling the problem rather than sensitivity, if that helps at all.

  • LifeChat LX-3000 microphone problem

Hello =) thanks for helping me!

So I checked for a new driver, but the link in the Microsoft Web page is corrupt. I also of course on that volume, and that's ok. Some people commented on some option "playback" or something like, but he could not find anywhere.

I try to use the microphone with MSN, Team Speak, Skype and some games like Team Fortress 2.

I don't think that this is the driver because I used to use this headset when I was running XP as a platform, and it worked perfectly. I did not remember how to reinstall the operating system, so I don't want to create new problems with it. I have read some other forums that many people have similar problems with micro-LX-3000. In my case, it is not something physically, but I guess that's a bad configuration. What I have to change something in the sound options to make it work?

    Thanks again :D

Control Panel > sound > recording tab...

Micro helmet by default (headset must be plugged or not displayed)

    Next

Select the Microphone of the headset, and then click the properties button

    Now, click the levels tab

Adjust the volume at least 75%

  • LifeChat LX-3000 low Volume at startup, requires a reboot

I bought the LifeChat LX-3000 2 weeks, and it worked fine until 2 days ago. Initially, the volume started fluctuating. I restarted the computer, that fixed it. Then the helmet itself set to a very low volume of base, so when the volume control on the PC is in full I can barely hear. To resolve this problem, I had to uninstall the software and the headset to the Device Manager, restart the computer and reinstall. This again once solved the problem. However, the volume is now very low again. I don't want to have to keep restarting just to use the earpiece. Any ideas?

Well, everything seems to work fine now. I think that's not as when I start the computer with the headphones plugged, but thanks for the help, she will keep noted if he plays again up.

  • Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 stops the sound from the speakers when connected

    Hello

I bought a USB Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 headset, and when it is plugged into my USB port, no sound is heard from the speakers.

When I disconect the speakers rund LX 3000 perfectly.

Someone knows how to fix this problem, please

I wanted to check if Microsoft LifeChat LX 3000 has all the entries in this section and if it has settings to enable or disable speakers when it is installed.  It is obviously the installer to work this way by default--I know not how to change the value by default if there is no entry in the audio section.

Try to download updated drivers for your sound card - she is in the speakers and contolling the LifeChat for an upgrade can provide options that are not currently available and you should be able to control if both can work at the same time.  While you're there, download and reinstall the updated drivers LifeChat as well.

Here is a link to the Microsoft Support - I don't know if it will be free or not (I can't go past the area enter the product id field). https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?gprid=12368&st=1&wfxredirect=1.  If free (I'm not sure I want to pay for support) and then explain the problem and they may be able to tell an easy solution that we have lost.

Here is a link to the product documentation that can explain what is happening and why.  Maybe it's just the way they are designed to work. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/documentation/default.aspx?type=LifeChat&sku=JUG-00001.

    I hope this helps.

  • LifeChat LX-3000 sound quality is terrible on Windows 7

I use this headset LifeChat LX 3000 for a few years now, and they were flawless until I upgraded to Windows 7. I did all the obvious things as updated my drivers and sound cards, and the headset is my default device for recording and playback. Yet for some reason any there is a noise of cracking/static terrible and constant in the background when the helmet is not cut. I thought that this could be due to the headset within a few years, I went to Best Buy and purchased a whole new game. Yet, with the new headphones, the sound quality is just as bad. I have really no idea what could cause cracking and the static, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Note: I have uninstalled/reinstalled the helmet a few times, which did not help.
