How can I clean the remains of unwanted downloaded software files?

as the remains of pieces of files

Hello!

You posted in the wrong forum, I'm afraid, because you don't really have a problem with the malware (unless this unwanted software is malware).
If this is not malware, you can not be helped here.
However, I would recommend looking up the software name in 'computer '. If you see "Softwarename'log or something like that, you can delete it as long as you are sure that it is nothing important to do with existing programs or your operating system."

NOTE: any software "trial offer" has been included in the original factory image, it will be reinstalled, but it won't work (the test period will have expired).  If so any trial software is a security antivirus software or others, before connect you to the Internet, you must uninstall (using an uninstall tool provided by the manufacturer if available antivirus software) and then install your own anti-virus software.  So, you should download the uninstallers necessary and installers (or buy the software on CD) using another machine before starting this project.

How can I change the attributes read-only or system files?

To view or to remove the read-only or system attributes, use the Attrib command at a command prompt:

    1. click the Start button, type cmd in the search box and press ENTER.

    2. to view the syntax for the Attrib command, Type attrib------? at the command prompt.

WARNING: If you remove the read-only or a file system attribute, it may seem like a regular folder and some customizations may be lost. For example, Windows customizes the Fonts folder and provides a special folder view that allows you to hide variations, such as bold and italics. It also allows you to change the display settings of the file in a way that is specific to fonts. If you remove the read-only attributes and the Fonts folder system, these custom display settings not available. For folders that you have customized by using the tab, customize the folder properties dialog box, the folder icon and other other customizations may be lost when you remove the read-only attribute.

If a program cannot save files to a folder with read-only, such as My Documents, change the read-only to the system attribute by using the Attrib command at a command prompt.

To remove the read-only attribute and to set the system attribute, use the following command:

    attrib - r + s drive:------------.

For example, to remove the read-only attribute and set the attribute to system for the C:\Test folder, use the following command: attrib - r + s c:\test

Be aware that some programs may not work correctly with folders for which the read-only attribute and the system attribute are granted. You can use the following command to remove these attributes:

    attrib - r-s c:\test

Due to the non - using sticky keys. Very strange! I was three weeks on holiday and none of the keys on the keyboard are sticky.
Anyway, unique key can be disassembled and if they are sticky because of the separation of coke inside or something similar I don't think you can clean it properly.
Want you can do is to remove the plastic cover and watch what happens with the little mechanism under the lid. Place again put it in the right of the cover place and push down, but gently. You will hear a click and the cover should be in place again. You can remove this cover for each unique key.

  • How can I clean the Bitmap Images imported

Hi, I am using Flash 5. I have imported a .png image sequence and they look pretty rough and bitmap so I wanted to clean them.

    1. what I have to select each frame after import and adjust the settings of the bitmap for each image or I can doo this somewhere so it affects al images?

    2. I can't find the settings to clean up the bitmaps. I thought they would be in the Panel "Properties"?

    3. is it possible to set the pixelation or clean a .swf imported or is it better to clean the sequence before you save it as a .swf?

Ideally, you should have images cleaned / correctly size / optimised before import you them into Flash.  Once they are in Flash, one thing that you can do that can help how the image appears, especially if manipulate you its size in Flash, is to set the image to allow smoothing.  This can be set using code or can be applied manually to the image in the library do a right-click, selecting Properties and by checking the option to allow smoothing.

  • How can I clean the bookmarks dropdown?

Over time, I gained a lot of undergrowth and shit in the bookmarks dropdown. I've deleted most. But there are still two problems.

    (1) < < search | Firefox Help > > lines and there are a lot of them (I don't know why) will not disappear when I right click and click on delete.

    2) there are dozens, perhaps hundreds, of blank lines. They are useless and clutter my HTML backup.

How can I get rid of these two irritants?

    Thank you.

One possible cause is a problem with the places.sqlite file that stores the bookmarks and history.

  • How can I clean the app Gallery?

I recently connected the phone to my computer in the data transfer mode (see the SD card as a windows device). Here, I cleaned the .dcim file: moved and deleted hundreds of photos.

But the Gallery still show them all as being on the phone. They appear in the comprehensive view with the version of the 'icon '. But the real pictures are of course not.

I can't get rid of icons or different index tags. For deleted photos option delete is simply not there.

Delete is only one possibility for images that are still on the device.

    Hi andershl,

    Please go to settings--> applications--> applications--> all--> storage media

Here, press clear the cache and delete data.

This will remove the storage media library, but not the actual files. Restart the phone and give him five minutes to rebuild the media library.

If it worked then your phone should display your photos properly again.

    See you soon,.

  • How can I clean my catalog of unnecessary or deleted files?

I have 14 of PSE, my catalogue contains lots of files moved or deleted, as well as certain types of files not supported or unnecessary. My question is, how do I clean this up in my catalog? I am planing to move my catalog a "personal cloud drive" or drive NAS on my home network so as to free up much needed space on my C drive.

    OtisPDriftwood wrote:

    ...

Simply connect the external drive to any computer in your home with the required version of the elements, and you're ready. »

To do this, simply use the command move in PSE 14? Either move the catalog to my drive USB (and library), then remove safely from my C drive once I'm satisfied all works well.

    More details:

Your project requires you to move the library and catalog safely, which suggests a backup full anyway.

It is just the first step of the recommended way to move them to a new computer.

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Photoshop-elements/KB/backup-restore-move-catalog-Photoshop.html

You perform the full backup that stores all the necessary elements to restore on another computer, another drive or another master folder while keeping the links in the database catalog properly with the new destination. Let's say that you do this on an external disk or in a folder on your home network. The backup folder will be used to 'restore' on the "custom location" in the new destination folder/drive.

The backup process restores your library (image folder tree) and your catalog to the new destination folder, the USB key suggested.

When it is connected to one of your computers, you can open the organizer with the catalog by double clicking on the database, the file "catalog.pse14db" in the catalog folder.

Ditto for the second computer. Remember that the Flash DRIVE has the same drive letter in both computers.

If you have more than two computers (then you need more licenses...), this is the same process of restoring your backup catalog.

What has been published on the last connected drive is ready and available in the next connected to the computer.

    Notes on the catalog files:

-you will find their location in the menu help > system information

-by default, they are in a folder 'hidden' in the Solution Explorer, you may need to set to show files and folders hidden in Windows.

-Content (links) in the catalog is not changed if you move the entire folder elsewhere but if you move your image files outside of the Organizer, the links are not updated either...

-Catalog Manager allows you to move a folder from catalog back to the default location, but if you want to move it to default to a custom location, get you Explorer.

If you just want to move your library or part of it to a new drive, you can do so from the organizer of slip and fall in the folder tree in the left panel of records. Catalogs remains in default location.

    Hi Claude1112,

Looks like you can't access the download folder. I'll help you with this problem.

    1. have you made changes on the computer recently?

    2. what security software is installed on the computer?

    3. have logged as administrator?

    Method 1.

Start the computer in safe mode and check if you can access the downloads folder.

    Method 3.

I would like to create a new user account and check if the problem still persists.

    Create a user account: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/Create-a-user-account

If the problem does not occur in the new user account, you can transfer the files from the damaged to the new user account by using the article user account "difficulty a user profile is corrupted.
