How can I connect on my laptop, but not in safe mode?
Comcast told me that I should never open my Dell laptop in safe mode. I don't know how to change this mode. Can you help me? The laptop is so slow (only 3 years) and takes 15 minutes to raise even start working. Thank you
not sure why comcast said here.
Perhaps, there is a set communication.
in any case, there are a number of things you can do to speed up the computer and the test computer is safe mode is a good idea.
so go ahead and boot your computer and wait for the desktop to load.
You must also make sure that the ethernet cable is unplugged or the phone line is disconnected the modem before you start the computer.
After loading the desktop computer, click Start > run > .msconfig
(type and enter above msconfig)
Then go to the Startup tab and check the box start secure, then reboot and the machine will launch safe mode.
(by the way, to return to normal mode, repeat the steps to open msconfig and uncheck secure boot)
now that you're in safe mode, test the computer.
If works better, then we can perform a "clean boot" for operations in normal mode.

Can someone help me pls? My laptop cannot open a session. It gives me this message - "unable to load the user profile.
I have windows vista and my laptop is Toshiba Satellite.
It does give me any option on the screen. Can anyone help pls?
Hello
You can try to start in safe mode.
This will automatically use the admin account.
If it would work then you could create a new user account and could use this new login account.See also this MS knowledge base article:

Assuming that your computer is 2006 or later, following the links eventually will lead you to the following directions:
Reformatting a hard drive should be considered a last resort to solve a problem with a computer system. The hard drive can be reformatted and reinstalled the operating system, using the system PC Suite hard disk recovery. Reformatting the hard drive will overwrite all data on the disk. To preserve the data, back up the data of the user as; letters, leaves of calculation, graphics and emails to an external storage device before you reformat the disk. If the PC does not work in the Windows operating system, see reformatting since the recovery disks .Do the following to reformat the hard drive and reinstall the operating system.- Connect the PC to the power adapter.
- Close all programs.
- Click Start , click principally made programs , select System Restore and click on the PC recovery .
- When the recovery options are offered, select the option to perform the Recovery of PC and click Next .
- The PC will restart.
- When the recovery of the PC of welcome message, click OK to continue.
- In the system recovery Panel, select System Recovery . By default, the system will perform a complete reformat and will destroy all user data.
- Restart the PC when prompted.
As alternative method for the steps above, click Advanced Options , select the destructive recovery option and click Next to begin the reformatting process. The PC is in original factory State and all data in the system, such as the place and the date must be reconfigured.NOTE: any software "trial offer" has been included in the original factory image, it will be reinstalled, but it won't work (the test period will have expired). If so any trial software is a security antivirus software or others, before connect you to the Internet, you must uninstall (using an uninstall tool provided by the manufacturer if available antivirus software) and then install your own anti-virus software. So, you should download the uninstallers necessary and installers (or buy the software on CD) using another machine before starting this project.
NOTE 2: See the following important tips from MS - MVP PA supporter (once the restore is complete, click Start > run > winver > OK to determine what Service Pack you have):

How can I connect my BlackBerry smart phone to internet via bluetooth on my laptop connection?
I have connected my BlackBerry smart phone to my laptop via a Bluetooth successfully, but when I tried to connect to the internet, here's a message appears: your device cannot automatically connect to the internet, you want to enter user name and number manually?
So, how can I connect my BlackBerry smart phone to the internet via a bluetooth connection?Thank youMichaelHi Michael,
You must create a connection switched to solve the problem:
Please follow the steps:
a. click on the blue Windows logo at the bottom of the screen, then click on 'control panel '.
b. double-click on "Network and sharing Center." If you don't see this icon, click on "Classic view" in Windows Vista. In Windows 7, click on the "view by:" drop-down menu and select 'small icons '.
c. click on "Set up a connection or network" on the left side of the window. Select "Set up a dial-up connection" and then click "next".
d. type the phone number of your Internet Service provider in the box "Dial-up phone number." Type the number exactly as you need to dial it in your area - include the area code if required by your telephone company.
Enter your user name and password. The ISP gives you this information when you create your account. Check the box "Remember this password" to avoid having to enter the password each time you use the connection.
f. type a name in the box 'Connection name' which will help you to remember which connection it is.
g. check the box "Allow other people to use this connection" to make the connection available to all users on your computer.
h. click the 'Connect' button to connect to the Internet service provider and save the connection. You can connect to it in the future by clicking on the logo Windows at the bottom of the screen, then "Connect To."
For more ihelp:
Contact the wireless service provider for more information on how to connect to the internet using mobile phone on PC.
I hope this helps.
