  Years ago some of my SB software had a lab and 1 option audio program that was in there was the option "Record what you hear" that allowed me to save all who played through my sound card on my speakers no matter what the source.   I guess it would be similar to online sites that have the same concept of a session.  As I understand it, is that you essentially need either make the longer session time-out, not all the session timeout or use a different way to authenticate your user.
