  First of all, make sure that you don't have two accounts with the same address. What happens if one of them is an iCloud account.

  From the Mail menu bar, you select

  It is possible that you accidentally move your catalog file or accidentally opened a new catalog. Look under file-> open the recent item and try all the catalogs in the list to see if it is your primary catalog.

  If this does not work, you can open a recent backup of your catalog file.
