  When I installed Firefox on my new computer Windows 8, I got a style in which there is no title bar. The tabs are up there with a Firefox orange button on the left.   I watched the addons-> extensions such as recommended and found what is called QuickShare. It leads you to a website for Snap.do (http://www.snapdoapp.com/) and that seems to be the culprit, for me at least. I removed it and the stupid social media bar disappeared.
