    If you are using Vista:

    Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
    They will tell you how to do this.
    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
  • My hard drive has failed. I have Microsoft XP media center edition 2005. How can I get a recovery disk?
    I had a hard disk crash.  I don't care about data loss, but I bought a new hard drive and you want to install Windows XP media center edition 2005.  I have a sticker on the side of my pc with the product code.  How can I get a recovery disk?  Download the program from another PC?
    As your original failed hard drive, you would of course not be able to access any partition contained on this hard drive recovery.  Therefore, your best option is to contact the manufacturer of the computer and see if you can get the installation of their own media.
  • How can I get the video media. MOD in the first El 9?
    Are the videos of my Canon 7 d camera and my camcorder Canon ADCHD (two SD cards). Files MOD I opened the first Elements 9 and click on GET the MEDIA and it does not recognize the files. It says that it cannot open the videos because:
    "your system has no codec of compression/decompression required installed."
    When I bought this software, a service representative assured me that she would take. MOD files. Why these codecs are not installed with the program? How can I get these videos with first Elements 9?
    Also have assured that you have the latest version of Quicktime, as required by the program?
    And, when you started your project, you selected the project settings for a digital SLR for your video card? You need to do this so that the program turn on the necessary components to work with this video.
    Got a Probook 6450 b that crashed. don't burn the recovery disk so need to recovery disks. tried to order online, but the site does not deliver in my country of origin.
    Have a friend who has a probook 6450 b but a processor 2.1 GHz and Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Mine is Wondows 7 Pro, 2.4 GHz. can I use its on my laptop recovery disks?
    How can I get preinstalled HP software back?
    Tell us about the hard drive crashed.  You can link it to your desktop and make a check disk on it? Which can make new bootable.  If you don't care the utility partition and recovery being installed (you really won't need if you download and make the disc), and then download it here (you might put in your key Microsoft 25-digit Windows 7 Pro code):
    You must use the Toshiba recovery disc creator to create the recovery disk.
    The recovery disk contains the factory settings and also all the drivers and tools of Toshiba.
    It is important to do if you want to go back to Windows Vista.
  • How can I create system recovery disc for a new laptop with windows 7 Home Premium?
    I just bought my daughter a new Toshiba Satellite with Windows 7 Home Premium laptop last night. The laptop came with a Windows restore disk. How to create a set of boot from the DVD then when the system fails, or I need a new facility? I created a system repair disc and two-disc Image recovery. Is this enough to fully restore Windows 7 to the initial state of machines? (Technology at best buy assured me that it was nothing that I was able to do and that they would do for me for $70.00.)
    In short: my Dell came with a system recovery disk which was very convenient. I would like to reproduce this convenience with Windows 7. Any help appreciated.
    Jim
    You will need to follow the manufacturers directions to create the recovery media. Looks like you've done that, but Toshiba could only say with certainty. I recommend that you contact their customer service.
  • P7-1534 Pavilion: Pavilion p7-1534 Dead HD, how can I get the recovery CD to install new HD?
    I was on all the HP site and specifically in the support options for the above-mentioned office, but can not find answers related to a recovery CD. All the proposed solutions relate to solve no mention of recovery hw and sw problems.
    My HD failed, I intend to install the new unit, but the media was not shipped with the PC. Why is it so difficult to find answers to what seems to be an obvious question for many at some point? Perhaps the HD is not expected to fail? It was that the press kit has been provided with the units, that is no longer the case, it is now almost impossible to find a simple answer to this common problem.
    Bad enough to lose the drive and the data, so we have a quest for media use.
    While it is tempting to install Windows 7, my research on this model indicates problems with drivers for this OS, so I'll stick with Win8.
    Where you request a media kit or by phone, email, chat, or pixie dust?
    Hello:
    To order a recovery media for your PC, click on the link below and then click to expand the second recovery media line command to the bottom of the page.
    http://support.HP.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-P7-1500-desktop-PC-series/5330777/model/5331454
    Should be absolutely no problem to install W7 on this model if you have a W7 64-bit installation disc and a product key is valid.
    If you want to do this, let me know and I'll link you to a model that has the same motherboard as yours and W7 x 64 drivers.
