  I bought a surface as, among other things, a replacement for hanging out massive textbooks. I often buy books (mainly from Microsoft Press ironically) which are huge, hard and strong, the saving grace is that each book comes with a CD-Rom containing, among other things, a PDF version of the book... IDEAL!
  the problem is, these manuals are 100's of pages long and I would be able to 'jump to page x' to return to something, I would also be able to highlight a field or bookmark for a quick look at "return to this subject later" or "do these exercises when I go home." It would also be good to put a bookmark on the page I read last. Currently, I have a .txt file where I write the page number and no goodbye, isn't a very slippery solution, or the adobe reader app from the built-in Player app includes a "jump to page xx" so I scroll 200 + pages just to find "my place" everytime I open my book.

  When you set the custom wallpaper, it remains not saved in the my themes section. After having changed the paper painted, it will automatically replace the previous with new wallpaper which you set. If you want to save the custom wallpaper, you need to save it in the my themes since the Customization screen section. Please see the steps below for more information about saving a theme.

  1. By clicking on the Start button to open Personalization , and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type personalization, and then click customization.

  2. Click your unsaved theme to apply it to the desktop.

  3. Click on save the theme.

  4. Type a name for your theme, and then click Save.

  How to show or hide various toolbars?

  Most toolbars can be shown or hidden according to your needs. To show or hide a toolbar, click an empty section of the band to tabs and check or uncheck it from the context menu.
