  First of all, let me say that I've read a lot of posts on this topic and have watched YouTue videos and none of them doesn't seem to work for the latest version of Acrobat DC.  I created a document with text highlighted in September 2015 using Acrobat DC and now in November of 2015, I can't remove the highlighting no matter what I do.  Sometimes I'll see the option "Delete the highlighted" when I right-click after selecting the text, but even when I select this option, this does not alter the highlight.

  Any ideas? (I'm definitely out of them!)

  If you highlight the text outside Acrobat then you must remove there as well, and then create a new PDF.

  Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do about it. I have found that on Windows you can kind of get around that by reducing the window of Acrobat using Win + D, but this is hardly a good solution. Acrobat is simply not built for the treatment of large quantities of files, even if it has the functionality of the wizard of the Action...

  If you need to do this, then you should look for a more robust tool.

  I'm sorry to say, but I think it is a very bad idea.  Flash navigation elements are not good practices on the web, because you cannot be 100% sure that your visitor has the Flash Player on your computer.  In addition, the search engines don't analyze reliable these links for SERP purposes on the page.  Finally, any person using an assistive device to the screen will not be able to use these items.  Using a graph prepared in FW or PS, however, will not have these disadvantages and will be 100% reliable/useable for all categories (assuming that you have correctly provided a descriptive alt attribute for the image).

  You can't do that in HTML - it needs to be done in the Actionscript of Flash at the moment you make the button. It is yet another reason why use Flash navigation items is a bad idea...
