How default Windows Media Player in full-screen on open?

When I click on a video file, Windows Media Player opens a small window. If I drag the sides to expand the window or click Restore in the upper right corner and then close the program and reopen again, it defaults to a little tiny window.

I want to the default full screen, each time rather than a small box.

Hi EcoWhale.com,

There are different settings, you can do for a size of the video in Windows Media Player.

See if the information provided in the article below are a help.

  • How to stop windows media player from reading when I open it?

I have windows vista. Why does windows media player start to play the first track in my list when it comes on? It didn't used to, but my system has been rebuilt, and now I can not find anywhere, no matter what help (is not always the case? Help files are never 'useful'). I didn't start playing a track just because I opened the windows media player!

Media Player has no opportunity to do so.  Are you sure you're not clicking on a shortcut file that specifies to play?  If you are unsure if the shortcut file specifies a game action, here is how to test directly open it:

    (1) make sure that all programs are closed

    (2) press Windows + R to display the race

    (3) type wmplayer and press OK

Media Player should open without playing anything.

In any case I found a site where apparently someone has found a way to downgrade, , but the procedure is not only allowed and supported by Microsoft but it is also very dangerous and I have not yet test (and I think it should work only in the 32-bit version), so do it at your own risk!.

    Hello

Most likely, there is a problem with the CD/DVD drive. You can burn a data disc when
don't use not WMP? Close all programs, put in a flammable disk and use the data method.
If burning a data disc works then you have any add-ons for WMP12?

When a close the lid of my computer laptop wmp stops and when I open it, it resumes. This only happens on the battery. I have it set to not sleep, and there is no screen saver. I want to use my cell phone as an mp3 player without having to leave the lid open. is there anyway to prevent a break?

original title: WMP stops when the lid is closed

Open Power Options - you can do it from the control panel by typing Power Options in the start menu, or by right click on the battery icon in your system tray (right end of the taskbar.)
Click on "change plan settings" for your current power management.  On the next page, click "Change advanced power settings".  On the box that opens, expand 'Power buttons and lid', then 'action close cover.'  Change the selection to "on battery" to the 'status quo', and then click OK.  Close the power Plan window.

  • Windows media player switches will not remain on the view full screen because then a minute

I watch a video stream on windows media player from wwe.com and generally it works quite well but he just started to turn off full-screen after a minute of me clicking on it someone knows a fix for this, it starts to become annoying it spend every minute, that I started to watch it on the normal screen, but I want to go back at the mercy of full screen for any help I receive

    Hello jamessharmon_3349

It is designed to run reduced to save resources for other applications that are running at the same time.

Check your display settings to see if your screen saver is set to activate so that maybe that's why your Windows Media Player minimizes full screen.

You can use the Task Manager to see what processes running high when WMP is reduced to a minimum. It could be a resource as Antivirus taking over CPU causing WMP decrease its size.

    Thank you
