How directly computer access network (via RD + NAT) virtual

I've been playing with VMWare, and I must say that it is a great and easy to use tool.

However, I encountered a single problem... the thing is that I am able to access comments from the host (via Remote Desktop), with the help of NAT port forwarding (I use port 9997 on the host, which is redirected to port 3389 off comments, and that market well connecting host-> comments), but Im not able to connect to the guest of the computers on the network local.

NAT allows the use of such? Would need a different port forwarding to forward the port entering 9997 to 9997 locally on the host machine?

I spent a lot of time and I have found no solution that could help solve this problem, so I decided to create a new post delivering this problem, hope to get some help here.

Thank you!

EDIT: The host is a Windows 7 operating system

It looks like a person (probably you) 'messed up' the configuration of the network.

  • You use the adapter of the NAT (192.168.137.1) default virtual host IP address to the second physical NIC.
  • The gateway and DNS address in the comments 192.168.137.1 rather than 192.168.137.2 (which is the default value)
  • Virtual host (vmnet8) NAT card uses an APIPA IP (169.254.142.69) address

Expected configuration:

  • 2nd card physical NETWORK - a free, unused address range
  • Map of the host for virtual NAT - for example 192.168.137.1
  • Settings - The client network DHCP (for example 192.168.137.129/255.255.255.0, gate of entry as DNS server: 192.168.137.2)

To resolve this situation, I recommend you remove the IP address of the second physical NETWORK adapter and then click on the button "Restore Default" in the virtual network Editor to clean up the virtual network. Then assign an IP address to a free subnet for the second physical NETWORK, but also the second PC card to connect you with this NIC

As I've already said, I'm not too technical and not in computer science so please given the answers simple, thanks

Most (if not all) e-mail providers offer online access to emails (and more of whatever program you use with your computer).  Simply contact the email provider to find out how to access your account through a Web browser (for example Internet Explorer) and you can access your email from anywhere where you are with a computer, a browser and internet access.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to disconnect a network unidentified without internet access?

My laptop running Windows 7 says I'm connected to a network not identified without internet access and allow me to connect to my wireless home connection, but there is no internet connection is.  The only way that I can use internet on my PC is if I connect my phone and use the internet tethering from there, (which sometimes is not recognized).

Please help on how to disconnect a network not identified!

    Hello

    You can't disconnect from it.

It's good because of the inability of the computer to connect to your network.

It detects that there is something there, but it can connect to it.

Assuming that it is wireless and the wireless router signal is strong, and it broadcasts its SSID (wireless network name).

    -------------------------

These steps and tell us where is the breaking point.

Check the Device Manager for the wireless card valid entry.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_dm.jpg

If there is no valid entry, remove any entry from fake and re - install the drivers for the wireless card.

Check network connections to make sure that you have a network icon/entry wireless connection, and that the properties of the icon (right-click on the icon) are correctly configured with the TCP/IPv4 protocol in the properties of network connections.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_connection_tcp.jpg

    ------------------

The wireless card drivers much also install utility wireless of the seller.

Make sure that if there are teas from Wireless Utility of seller does not work with the native Windows wireless utility (Service WLAN).

    ----------------

Make sure you firewall No. preventing / blocks wireless components to join the network.

Some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible set up the firewall correctly, otherwise totally uninstall and get rid of its remaining processes that permit the own local network traffic flow.

If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .

party like Hello and NetMagic 3rd network managers can block local traffic too.

    ---------------------------

Stack TCP/IP work should look like.

Right-click on the wireless network connection card, select status, details and see if she got an IP address and the rest of the settings.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/status-NIC.jpg

Description is the data of the card making.

The physical address is MAC of the card number.

The xx must be a number between 0 and 255 (all xx even number).

YY should be between 0 and 255

ZZ should be between 0 and 255 (zz all the same number.)

The date of the lease must be valid at the present time.

    * Note 1. IP that starts with 169.xxx.xxx.xxx isn't valid functional IP.

    * Note 2. There could be an IPv6 entries too. However, they are not functional for Internet or LAN traffic. They are necessary for Win 7 homegroup special configuration.

    ---------------------------------------------------

A message in the small window that says connected wireless doesn't means that you are really a valid functional connection.

Above everything is OK, you must be able to connect to the router.

Connection to the router means that you can enter the IP of the router base in an address bar in one go, being able to connect and configure the router menus see.

If it doesn't connect to the router, journal newspaper from any computer that can connect to the router wirelessly with a wire, disable wireless security, make sure that the wireless SSID broadcast is enabled and try to connect with no. wireless security.

Enable security wireless after you eat to make a functional connection.

  • How do .1x port based authentication access network through ACS

How .1x port based authentication access network through ACS.

    Hello

    802. 1 x can authenticate the host or by the name of username/password, or either through the MAC address of the clients (PC, printers etc.). This process is called agentless network access that can be done via Mac Auth Bypass.

In this process, the switchport 802.1 x would send the address MAC PC's connected to the server radius for authentication. If the radius server has the MAC address in its database, authentication will be successful and the PC would be granted network access.

1 n ° put them on a regular external drive and the value of Time Machine to back up as well; the files you want to keep should be at least two disks in case one of them goes down.

    2. they will not be usable until the restoration.

Why the last OS update cost me gigabytes of data when you are connected directly to my computer and ISP via Itunes.  29 February 2016

While it is connected to ITunes via my Dell system, I was informed of the latest OS update for my IPhone 6.  I decided that the direct connection to the internet would be the fastest way to download and install the software.  During the process I started to have some warning of our AT & T account that I approach the limit of our data plan, then in quick succession, only warnings, said I've reached the limit and then passed in the data, limit charges.  At the time it was done, I had accumulated more than 2 gigabytes of additional data charges.

Until that point, I was very pleased with the device and confident in the ability to use Wifi and data.  Due to this incident, I became very suspicious of the camera and the huge potential for data overcharges. It is extremely disconcerting as it happened while it is directly connected to the internet using my computer at home.

Please note that, in the episode my ISP and the computer is remained connected to the WEB with no sign of connectivity issues.

Someone at - he had a similar experience and understand what went wrong?

    Thanks for your support,

You have chosen the option of direct download, you have received a message of warning from AT & T about it yet.

He did what you asked it to do.

How can I access my space girls 14 years old, on the main screen on the computer? I assume you have no access to the password for the user of your daughter.  As an administrator, you may open the control panel in Win XP and select user accounts.  The options will allow you to change or remove the password of your daughter.  Then you could sign on behalf of your daughter.
However, who would probably trigger another outbreak of 'bananas', because your daughter will realize that you have changed or deleted her password.  This forum is not how parents react to problems of girl.  However, she is only 14, is YOUR computer and you have good reason to worry about his online activities.

  • The computer hangs when you access network resources

I have this problem with a couple of computers at work.  Here's the question:

Computer does not display the network icon in the system tray.  When you try to access everything which concerns internet, nothing works.  IE Page not found errors, etc.  When I go to control panel > network connections, my computer freezes and I have to close the Task Manager Control Panel to continue.   My computer will also freeze/hang up when I try to use another application that requires an internet connection.

Not help not to restart normally.  The only way I could fix is by turning it off for a while, and turning back on later.  But even if it does not work 50% of the time.  Restarting over and over again does nothing; the computer still plays the same, no network icon / freezing when you access network resources.  Once he decides to however works, the computer has internet/network connectivity and no problems until what it is off again.

I tried all the drivers out there for my network card and reformatted 3 times is not a virus/spyware.  The I'm having a problem with the current computer is one day having no application other than Windows Update, Microsoft Office, Java, Flash and Adobe reader installed.  They are all Dell computers, some are of the Vostro desktops, while some are older of the Inspiron.  Questions computers are running Windows XP SP3.

    Any help would be appreciated!
