How do I format my Sansa Fuze +.

I posted a message earlier today on a problem I had with the rocket + but im about half way through fixing it, I am now able to turn on the MP3 with that one problem is that a message comes up saying that there is a database error and that I need to format the device and then he said : the Sansa stops now, if im just wondering how do?

Plug it into the computer and see if its detected. Format in the computer. Also try to force MSC if it is not detected. When the meter is off, press and hold volume low and plug it into the computer.

  • How to download video to Sansa Fuze?

I'm in love with my 4 GB for a month Sansa Fuze.  I have no problem at all downloading music to the device (I call it the 'model-safe MP3'), but I'm a total newbie when it comes to video download.  Is it possible to download video from a TV or Youtube network website?  If so, can someone break it down for me very, very simply?

It is quite some references on how to do it, but in a nutshell, you need to use the Sansa Media Converter program available for download here. With your rocket connected (this is important, it should be connected during the conversion) raise you the program and drag & drop files and click on convert. Conversion converts the files and place them on the "rocket". Any file as SMC (S Media Converter ansa) cannot recognize it will tell you talk and those who will be executed by another program to convert them to a format THAT SMC likes it. As I said I tried the formats listed on Web of Sandisk site with some free video converters and the only format that appears in Sansa Fuze is .avi but player message is unsupported media. Do you have someone at - it an answer or a workaround? I would be grateful someone help.

  • How to delete songs that came on my Sansa Fuze?

My Sansa Fuze came with 19 songs on what I want to delete but I don't know how.  When I plug in my Sansa Fuze in my computer the songs do not appear on my computer but they are on the device when I use it.  They are not in the 'Music' folder or any folder when I manage the device to my computer.  Can someone tell me how to remove these unwanted songs?

If you don't have any other music/photos/videos etc.  on the "rocket", or you have copies that you are ready to transfer again, the best way to get rid of these songs is to format the "rocket" that erases all content (but does not change its integrated software). Settings from settings/system/Format.

Or if you have a friend with a new Windows computer, you can see the songs and delete them yourself.

Why can't you see these songs? It's a long story, but a bit simple.

The "rocket" has two modes USB, MSC and MTP (Settings/System Settings/USB Mode). They have two different lines in the "rocket" and your computer can only read one at a time. (The "rocket" sees it bit any mode).

The songs of the sample were transferred in MTP mode. But your computer connects via MSC - my favorite - mode so it cannot see them.

MSC treats the "rocket" as a generic flash drive. You can drag and drop manually, or if you want you can use Winamp or Media Monkey to sync things.

MTP allows the "rocket" be controlled - sync, etc. - by Windows Media Player 10 or higher. It allows also WMP transmit codes DRM (Digital Rights Muck) hidden-in-the-user for things like the songs protected against copying and audiobooks that expire. Probably not, you use those.

The idea was to have the equivalent of iTunes/iPod of coordination for the majority of users - but also for the greater freedom and control of Maritime safety, if a user wants to change. No Windows, on Mac or Linux users, find yourself on MSC as well.  The only real requirement for MTP mode is for DRM files.

On a computer that has Windows Meda Player 10 or higher, Auto Detect mode the "rocket of" (the third choice in Settings/System Settings/USB Mode) - which is what the "rocket" uses unless you changed it - connects in MTP mode and these songs will be visible and removable. That's why it would be simpler to use PC a friend Windows - Vista, Windows 7, etc.

The original Windows XP comes with Windows Media Player 9 - a too old version for PSG. If you are running XP you could update WMP (via support.microsoft.com) to empty these songs. Then, you must return to the MSC (not Auto Detect) and do all what you did previously to transfer your music., you'll have all your visible songs by you.

  • How to make a backup copy of my Sansa Fuze 2 GB

Hello! Can someone tell me how to make a backup copy of my Sansa Fuze 2 GB. I'm going to replace because the wheel is not working properly and I ask (the agent on the Technical Support) on all my music that I have on my MP3 and they tell me to make a copy, but whenever I downloaded on Windows Media Player, I can listen to, but as soon as I disconnect my MP3, I can't play anymore. Can someone help me please, I don't want to lose all my music. Or as a matter of fact again downloaded (too many site to visit again)

You can manually copy your music from the device to the computer using Windows Explorer, often referred to as 'My Computer' or just 'computer' in different versions of Windows by drag-and-drop, or open the Windows Media Player and "copy of the device" after clicking on the tab sync.

It is also possible to copy works by using an application like Media Monkey too.

Many people confused if the Sansa was initially loaded using never WiMP, many are realizing that the application works in both directions.

Remember, it is important to always have a backup of your music!  It will save you grief!

  • How can I turn off the Sansa Fuze

I just got a 8 GB Sansa Fuze now for Christmas, and I used it for 15 minutes between put some music on it and put it back into my computer, I deeply loved it.

Now I feel really embarrassed to ask this question because I use a computer for 15 years and have been using MP3 plays since 1999.

How can I turn off the Sansa Fuze? He said nothing in the manual. What combination of buttons/menu setting to turn it off?

    THX

Don't be shy, I had a similar experience when I used Sansa.

Keep the right sliding button for a second or two to turn it off.

The key is to keep for a while.

  • Sansa Fuze 4 G v.2.02.28a wrong with gel, formatted and reinstalled the firmware

My sansa fuze has been freezing since update firmware a couple of months.  Sometimes he would set himself, when I rebooted, but it gets progressively worse.

Today it froze to the homescreen as usual, but I could not turn on after I restarted several times, after many trials, I could connect to my pc without the "rocket" freezing at the login screen. I decided to format it through my pc and I also reformatted it on the player as well. I have not reformatted it since adapting if I was trying to avoid having my deleted files. Meanwhile, I looked in the forums to apply solutions that have worked for others in the same situation.

Here are some of my problems I think to make this kind of odd. Windows tells me is no longer a memory, internal and external, it reads the interns as F: drive and the external slot as drive G:

Also, I have a napster to Go account that I use for a year now synchronized with this player and he wrote the unit (the "rocket") is not compatible, and I tried the update of napster to see if that was the problem, but napster has been giving me trouble since the new update with the firmware of the rocket. However, now I am not able to re - download my music files without paying the full price for one without a subscription.

I think that the problem comes from the "rocket" as opposed to my napster account. Any information on this would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you tried switching USB (Settings/System Settings/USB Mode) mode to PSG?

If not, why not roll back manually. Just unzip the firmware.26 and drop the .bin file in the drive of the rocket.

  • [request] How to be sure it's really safe to remove the sansa fuze of the computer without wmp

In the manual, it says that sansa fuze can be removed safely after the transfer of data over completely, when I used Windows Media Player, after synchronization finished, there is a msg 'You can dissconnect sansa fuze now', it convinient, but I do not use windows media player, I use MediaMonkey instead, and there is no message to confirm when it is safe to dissconnect the player at the end of the process synchronization, so how can I be sure what - it really to the shelter to dissconnect the player? There is no icon to safely remove the player, there is no guarantee that my security suites is not access the device in the background thanks

The only thing that appears when I click on my usb icon is "to remove my usb wifi atheros', not rocket, I guess he's in then, mtp mode since I put the usb in the rocket setting 'auto' mode, so I have to check my icon usb, what he whether or not written, if it's not, then it's in mtp mode , so just pull him out, but if it appears, use them safely remove fuze, whenever I want to disconnect from the computer, very little practice, makes me think of my old creative zen touch before the firmware update

You should not use mode auto-defaut... Select MTP or MSC, whatever suits your needs, but auto brings right on the confusion and frustration.

  • How can I customize my desktop wallpaper? [For a Sansa Fuze]

I just got my Sansa [Fuze] last Sunday and I really like it, but I was not able to customize my desktop wallpaper.  You can download wallpapers various yourself, or do you go to a special Web site?

[I only have one color and the Blue]

Have you updated to the latest firmware (01.01.15) published a few weeks ago? You should have 6 different colors. They are under SETTINGS > SYSTEM SETTINGS > WALLPAPER (top of registration page). They were all solid colors; not very interesting. Unfortunately, there is no way to customize yourself until the moment where the Rockbox people break the code. SanDisk can do something in a future update, but I doubt it.

  • Sansa Fuze only synchronization not properly. :(

Hi, I have a sansa fuze 8 GB. Recently I brought some new music, so I happily he imported everything in my music Manager. I'm lazy, and since I have all my music with me and didn't want to faff autour. Formatted the "rocket", inserted a 32 GB SD card and sync value to copy my entire library to him. Synchronization completed successfully, but when I disconnect my fuze and scroll to check everything is here says I am very disappointed. I have 2272 files, there is only 525 on the player.

After trying at least 5 managers music different, all with the same result. I went into my SD card via my computer. All records of my album are here, but most are empty. I checked the files are actually in my music library, they are, just not copied for any reason any.

If I try to copy into the internal memory of rocket all right, until I get an error message that there is not enough space. I have 9.2 GB of music currently in the library and only 7. Internal memory of something.

Help, please. I don't think that the SD card can be that some are copied and my computer shows that there is plenty of space.

    Thank you.

H2testw is how you can tell. Looks like you got a twisted to read as 32 GB 2 GB card.

I use H2testw to test each microSD when it arrives.

Read the readme.txt file in the folder h2testw, or look at this.

    http://fightflashfraud.WordPress.com/download-H2testw-free-and-test-Flash-memory/

If you have tried CHKDSK, you should cut your losses and just get a new microSD card.

And you can also contact the Play.com still and making threatening noise of prosecutions judicial, counterfeiting, fraud, etc.if you want.

  • Sansa Fuze Skip Song

1 month ago I bought a Sansa Fuze 4 GB, and I really liked it.  In that first month, I transferred music from Microsoft Media Player for the "rocket" with no problems and I also played music without any problem, so I see no problem.  Everything seemed to be working great until last night when I installed the new firmware.

I installed the new firmware using the request for the Installation of the Firmware Sansa. After installing the new firmware, I had to Resync my library.  I noticed after the resynchronization when I played music, many songs on the "rocket" should be ignored.  For example, I would play the ABC song after song what ABC ended, I see the image of the song DEF, but song THAT DEF would not play and the "rocket" would skip to the next song HIG.  If I tried to navigate back to the song (DEF), which was initially ignored, should be displayed, but the "rocket" would skip to the next song HIG.

If I tried to navigate directly to the song ignored interface of rocket, the song wouldn't play.  Artist ZYX has several songs in their folder.  If I chose to play all the songs of this specific artist, the "rocket" would skip infinitely without playing any music.

Also, after I updated the firmware, I noticed all my music was removed from the "rocket" and my GoList was empty.

Does anyone have recommendations on how to solve these problems?

    Update

I tried the "rocket" by sliding the spring power switch on the side to the top as if you turn on the device, but hold position for 20-30 seconds as described here http://forums.sandisk.com/sansa/board/message?board.id=sansafuse&thread.id=44242, but he did not rest.

    Thank you

    BarDev

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I have connected the "rocket" to my computer and was able to play a song on my computer from the "rocket" which was previous fried.

I formatted the disk.  After formatting the drive, I resynced the "rocket" Media Player.  Now, everything seems to work.

    Thanks for the help.

  • The Sansa Fuze is similar to the Sansa e280R?

    This is a broad question.

There are two versions of the e200 series.

The e200 and then the e200R or Rhapsody.

Remember how the e200R series had an interface more clean, which will do the same for the "rocket"?

Haven't bought a rocket, I want to buy something.

Is another question, with Rhapsody To Go, or what I need to add it myself?  Also, if I add Rhapsody to the "rocket", it will give the "rocket" this cleaner interface?

When I say interface more, the version of Rhapsody had smoother transitions between menus and the text was smoother and much more readable.

    Thanks in advance!

The Rhapsody from Sansa (e200R) has some nice features, like the 'balloon' police while rolling through the menus.  The device later, the e200v2, was also the improvement of the police.

The aircraft later, the e200v2, became the Sansa Fuze shortly after.

The latest Sansas, including the e200v2, the "rocket", the music video and the new Clip + are compatible, all the RhapPFS, which means that the Rhapsody feature improvements are incorporated into these devices.  Rhapsody channels appear in the main menu once the device is allowed to use the Rhapsody service.

You also have several options, like adding channels has Rhapsody music track to the library of your device and a procurement function which signals an individual track for purchase later, when the Sansa is signed up to the service.

The Sansa Rhapsody used format RAX of RealNetworks, a unique DRM (license based on the device) system, while the new devices use 160 kbps WMA for tracks.
