[request] How to be sure it's really safe to remove the sansa fuze of the computer without wmp

In the manual, it says that sansa fuze can be removed safely after the transfer of data over completely, when I used Windows Media Player, after synchronization finished, there is a msg 'You can dissconnect sansa fuze now', it convinient, but I do not use windows media player, I use MediaMonkey instead, and there is no message to confirm when it is safe to dissconnect the player at the end of the process synchronization, so how can I be sure what - it really to the shelter to dissconnect the player? There is no icon to safely remove the player, there is no guarantee that my security suites is not access the device in the background thanks

The only thing that appears when I click on my usb icon is "to remove my usb wifi atheros', not rocket, I guess he's in then, mtp mode since I put the usb in the rocket setting 'auto' mode, so I have to check my icon usb, what he whether or not written, if it's not, then it's in mtp mode , so just pull him out, but if it appears, use them safely remove fuze, whenever I want to disconnect from the computer, very little practice, makes me think of my old creative zen touch before the firmware update

You should not use mode auto-defaut... Select MTP or MSC, whatever suits your needs, but auto brings right on the confusion and frustration.

Help. How do you multiline text in a continuous form between the lines without scaling of the text?

I tried to put each line of the form for amounts of specificity so that it ends at some point and does not change the text size to fit on the line but different key characters have different widths, so you do not get a length of the same line.

I tried to remove the long text scrolling, but it changed nothing.

I can create a text box great to fill out and have this scrolling of additional lines, but then I get too much information from people and I would need to clarify the lines behind the answer multi line text, or delete the lines...

    Is there a better solution?

I usually just remove the lines and set the field "Does not scroll long text" so that all the text is visible. Including the lines is really only useful if the form may be printed and completed by hand, in which case you can use scripts as in this example is: http://acroscript.net/pdf/demos/multiLine_Demo1.pdf

It works as expected in Acrobat/Reader, but not in Chrome and other PDF viewers who have little or no support for JavaScript. It uses scripts customized to validate on Focus and blur.

No matter how much you dig around it's going to be difficult to be sure that you have a completely clean install of Windows.

What OS was originally installed on the laptop. The COA below sticker should tell you and it was originally Vista but you had Windows 7, it is possible that he tried it back to Vista to recover 7 license.

You can see the list of programs and features in Control Panel to see what is currently installed. However, the only way to be sure would be really to save the files, you must maintain and run the process of recovery if possible. Most of the PCs/laptops have a recovery partition which will reload the disc to factory specifications with the right sequence of keys at startup. Each manufacturer has a different way of doing the recovery mode, but if you Google the machine to followed by 'recovery' you will almost always get a help site to guide you through the process.

How to use data recovery in memory of 'd' (about 10 GB)?

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Ask your manufacturer of computers for the EXACT method to restore to factory settings.

This isn't their recovery process, Microsoft.

  • How can I find what I need at startup of the computer programs, I went to the System Configuration, but do not know what to uncheck to stop running when the computer is started

I ran a report on my computer, in case of problems.  It detected that I needed to verify in the Configuration of the system on the programs that were running at the start of the computer.  I have several here I will list who is here, and maybe someone can tell me that I don't need at start-up.

    1 Microsoft Security by Microsoft

2 updater Java (TM) Platform SE Auto by Sun Microsystems

3 Localnet Express 3.0 - propel Software Corp. (Localnet is my provider and this express is supposed to help my computer go to websites faster)

4 Roc_Roc_NT_unknown-AVG safe search (I was told I didn't need AVG antivirus, so I deleted it out)

    5. default manager by Microsoft

6 adobe Acrobat from Adobe Systems

7 adobe Reader by Adobe Systems

    8 AVG Tray-unknown

I hope someone can help me with this takes 15 min for a loading site approx. 30 to load the game after I finally get it, then the game is frozen and won't do anything.  Even for all other sites, I'm at my wits end and don't know what to do.  I have dial up and Windows 7.  Just started having problems after getting this new service provider.

    Hello Wanda.

One command, but lets see what we can do to whittle the list down. First, dial-up internet connection is slow, so keep that in mind that we work here.

Second, almost all your startup programs are valid and advised to load at startup of Windows. Some possible changes:

    (1) If you need not a specific to Java, such as might have the game that you are trying to play, so you don't need to have it is launched at startup.

    (2) regarding the Adobe programs, why do you have Acrobat on your computer? Do you need to create PDF files? Adobe Reader which has many freeware alternatives that are faster, used to read PDF files. So if you need only to read PDF files, you can stop Acrobat from loading at startup.

    (3) other startup programs are all legitimate. And remember, just because you do not start a program at startup, does not mean that you cannot start later if you find that you don't need it.

    (4) the problems you encounter to "all sites that you visit" could be a function of malware. You don't have AVG Antivirus running on your computer just? I recommend do you a scan in depth and then put in quarantine and remove any infections it finds.

    (5) after you run the virus scan, I suggest that you try to download and run these two scanners. First MalwareBytes' Antimalware, here: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html.  Secondly, SUPERAntiSpyware, here: http://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-10523889.html. Quarantine and remove all infections they find.

    (6) after doing this, restart your computer and see how it works. Please post your results here, and if you have any questions during this process, post here and I'll help you. Let me know how you fare.

    Kind regards

  • How can I connect to the computer without the administrator password?

Original title: my daughter locked her computer and can't remember the password.

My daughter has locked her computer and can't remember the password. I'm trying to unlock the computer. The computer is running Windows 7

It is always ask a password :(

You did not say it, but it probably means that your daughter has changed her password and can not remember what she changed. This is why an alternative admin account is absolutely essential. You can get out of this situation as follows:

    1. Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
    2. Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
    3. Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
    4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
    5. Select 'Repair' when prompted.
    6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
    7. Configure Windows to a point before you changed the password.
And since you probably do not burn a CD to repair Windows 7 either (which is absolutely essential for people to maintain their own PC), here's how to get one:
    • Burn it on another computer.
    • Borrow one from a friend.
    • Purchase one here: http://systemdiscs.com/
It takes only three minutes to burn a via the control panel / backup and restore.

I have a recovery disk and its does not work and is locked me and tried the function StickyKeys and that no longer works

There are a lot of options built into Windows to help you out of this situation:
    • Restart the computer with your Windows repair CD, then use system restore to set Windows in a few days (only works if you have recently changed the password).
    • Log on to your account admin to spare, and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you set up an alternative admin account).
    • Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (the password is usually empty).
    • Insert your flash drive USB with the password key file (only works if you have taken the time to create a keyfile and if it is common).
    • Use the password indicator (works only if you have created a hint and if it's good enough to allow you to guess the password)
    • Check your paper files (works only if you threw down the password somewhere)
The post-its feature key is assistance to persons with disabilities. You cannot use to reset a password. If you could, what purpose is there to have a password?
  • How to connect to the computer without administrator privileges?

    Original title: question administrator

I don't have the admin rights even if I'm the only one using the machine. I accidentally deleted the Administrator profiles, I created and the default admin was left disabled and I don't remember giving it a password.

I can't raise any application or change the permission of my profile.
When I try, I have the window UAC which has the "Yes" button grayed out.
When I go to computer management > users and local groups to change the properties of the profiles I get 'access denied '.

I tried running with the system in mode safe but still can't find a way to get the elevation or change my authorization to administrator.
When I get to safe mode and Admin profile appears on the list and I get to click, restart the system.
It doesn't matter if all the services.msc a services property gray buttons? Is something wrong with the services?

I accidentally deleted the Administrator profile

Delete the only and only the administrator account would be equivalent to throw one and only safe key you have. Here's how you can recover from this error:

    7. Configure Windows to a point before you removed your admin account.
    8. Plan ahead a little and create, test and document an alternative admin account, same as you have a spare emergency House key. This will save you a lot of trouble.

    Hi Tansy,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

I understand how it could be frustrating when things do not work as expected. Please, I beg you, don't worry I'll try my best to resolve the issue.

I understand that you want to disable the open Internet Explorer at startup option.

    Method 1
Step 1: I suggest to start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists.

    Startup options (including safe mode)
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

Step 2: If the problem is solved in SafeMode with networking, then I suggest to perform clean boot and remove the program that is causing the problem.

How to perform a clean boot for a problem in Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
Note: Follow step 3 of section of boot KB929135 to reset the computer in normal mode.

    Method 2
I suggest you run virus scan online by using the Microsoft safety scanner.

  • I don't know if I'm connected to a network. How would this knowledge? I've never read "Learning the Computer for Dummies"!

How will I know if I'm connected to a network?  IP address conflict arises and I don't know what to do.  I forgot to get the book "Learning the Computer for Dummies", which I should have got that I'm completely computer illiterate!  Please, someone help!

You can have an ip address conflict if you are connected to the internet through a wired or wireless router that allows two or more computers or other devices in your home to connect to the internet at the same time usually by means of a cable or dsl internet provider.  You can have this conflict, even if the computers in your House did not implement a network to share files and printers between them.  You can go to control panel > network and sharing Center to view network information.

A common situation that can lead to a conflict of ip address, it's only 2 (or more) computers or other devices are connected to the router (via ethernet or wireless), and both have ip addresses assigned by the router automatically, one of the computers, then past in mode 'sleep', and while we sleep the router restarts.  When the router comes back online he doesn't know the computer sleeps is here and that he already has an assigned ip address and so it gives the ip address of the other computer.  When the computer asleep wakes duplicate error will be triggered.  It can be solved by turning off computers and turn it back on so that the router will assign them new ip addresses.  If this is not what is happening in your situation, the following may help: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Get-help-with-There-is-an-IP-address-conflict-message

    Hello

How many accounts do you have?

Method 1: Run the troubleshooter of power

You can run the troubleshooter of power to set your computer's power settings. The resolution of the problems of power check things as settings timeout of your computer, which determines how long the computer waits before turning off the display or enter the mode 'sleep'.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-power-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:
Disable the screen saver if password value.
