How do I remove the Flash DRIVE and external hard drive write protection
Original title: A distress call
My Kingston Traveller of 16G flash drive as my 320 G external drive HP say that they are write protected. I'm not sure how that becomes activated but would really like to know how to disable.
Your best bet is to consult the manual for readers, and you can also ask on the manufacturer's Web site. For example: http://www.kingston.com/support/

How can I remove the cs6 first and still keep for use in CC?
I'm running a PC with CC. I had to CS6 first so I can use again to an older project. How can I remove the CS6 first and keep still (and all CC downloads)?
Thanks for the help.
Todd
In the original version (traditional uninstall), you are given a screen that lets you choose what to uninstall, and then you clear again (if there). If you do not have this option, and then try to uninstall in Windows via Control Panel.
I just tested and it gives you the screen.

Hello world
I'm slowly to tackle the first Elements12.
When uploading to Facebook, how can I remove the 'via Photoshop and Adobe Premiere elements Uploader"?
- I see there was an earlier publication (http://forums.adobe.com/message/3320214#3320214) which was for version 8 and I can understand the question, but (assuming it's the same question) is a function of removing slogan installed?
- Is this also the same in the Pro version?
Thanks in advance for any good info
Pete
Hi Offul Duster,
Please post on the Adobe forums,
1. Please follow the suggestion given by ATR
As suggested by your link inserted, first Elements can you export to file saved to hard disk and then download this file from here to Facebook on the Facebook web site without the issue of marking
2. it is not an option to download Facebook in first Pro CS6/CC.

Flash drive, write protected after the use of Ready Boost
I have a 8 GB USB flash drive, and I've been using ~ 4 GB for Ready Boost for quite a while now. When I tried to write something on the drive recently, I get a message saying that it is write protected. I tried to change the size of the cache, but has nothing - no error and no change. Tried turning off RB for the drive and nothing. There is no protection switch on the drive, so nothing to break. Tried to restart, refomratting the drive - no joy.
Only, I could get a new drive because they are so cheap, but this one has a MicroSD in it like a separate disk drive, so I would keepHello
You can remove your usb flash drive write protection using the method below:a. open the start menu, in the search bar type regedit, and then press ENTER. This wil open the registry editor.b. navigate to the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePoliciesNote:
If StorageDevicePolicies registry key does not exist, you must create it manually.c. highlight StorageDevicePolicies, and then create a new DWORD called WriteProtect (32-bit).d. double-click the registration key in the right window, and then set it to a value of 0 in the value data boxe. press OKImportant This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. I have accidenally moved my documents to a flash drive and then deleted from the flash drive. Are they in my computer somewhere?
You may be able to recover from the computer or the flash drive using a program like Recuva file recovery. For the best chance, do it immediately, before doing anything else on the computer.

How can I remove the flashing lights on the photos?
It's very strange and really curious what it is. Sometimes on the images, e.g. bing images and even now on my flash drive images, there are little flashing lights that looks almost like Christmas lights usually located on dark areas of images. Simply load the flash player and seen even on here so I wonder if it has anything to do with the flash player. Has anyone ever heard talk about this before? Thank you

OK I got it is VLC it. While playing a video with VLC, images appear in this way. Strange one indeed lol.

How can I remove the user name and the image of Windows XP new Start Menu
Two questions:
1. How can I delete the user name and the image of Windows XP new start; and
2. my computer keeps asking me to press the F1 key to start Windows. How to skip this part?
Thank you.
Hello
The image of user account can be removed by disabling the Welcome screen. Or, by opting for the classic Windows theme. Follow the method described in this article, if you want to remove the user name and the picture in the Start Menu, without disabling the Welcome screen and Windows XP theme.
For those who want to delete the user name and the image of user account from the Start Menu, in order to have a blue white Panel at the top, try this:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft account Pictures\No_Default images.Step 2:

c. close Regedit.exe and restart Windows.
You'll find yourself with a blue area at the top of the Start Menu.
Regarding the pressing 'F1' to start Windows, you have made no changes or was there a system crash after which the problem started?
You may need to change the boot sequence in the BIOS to the default settings. I recommend you contact your PC vendor for this.
Warning of the BIOS:
BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk. -

How can I remove the existing driver files to overcome (Code 39) USB drivers?
I am running Vista Home Premiun 32 and generally have few problems for about 18 months because my laptop came with the operating system installed.
Recently, my USB drivers do not work (as in the drivers of USB controller rather than the connected devices). Device displays the symbol of my USB controllers and gives code 39 error Manager, that's to say the drivers are install correctly, but Windows is unable to run. Windows can certainly find and identify devices.
Two things happened before that:
(1) I have receieved some windows updates.
(2) I installed a backup software which seems to have prevented windows start: I had to uninstall the software by using regedit via the command prompt, and then, everything seemed fine.It may, however, have been a problem that has just reached the point of crisis, given that windows has grown more glitch with my wireless adapter built-in and now don't see any; I think it's connected via USB controllers.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the USB controllers. I even deleted the INF cache and repeated the process of re - install.
Now, I want to delete the files from the driver completely from the driver store. Existing files are old (modification dates are from the beginning of 2008, or even from 2006), and I want to force Windows to find entirely new software drivers. When I uninstall, I not give me the option to delete files. When I try to delete them manually, I find that I don't have the correct security permissions to do so. Windows doesn't let me change the permissions, simply showing the menus change with the buttons greyed out.
This problem is in danger of turning my laptop a doorstop; There, someone at - it a solution?
Thanks for any help,
AckersHello
Code 39 means that the driver is corrupted or missing.
Follow these steps to remove corruption and missing/damaged file system repair or replacement.
