  Please make sure that you select the correct architecture of Windows 8 (32-bit or 64-bit) while downloading the drivers.

  I searched a bit using Google and the Equium A200-15I is equipped with an Intel 943GML chipset and this means that the laptop can use up to 2 GB of RAM (2 x 1 GB modules).
  If your laptop is already equipped with two 1 GB modules you can t upgrade it and if not you PC2-5300 modules to upgrade your laptop.
