  Go to the BIOS.
  Disable secure boot and pass the CSM UEFI.
  Save the changes and now you should be able to boot from the Windows 7 disc.

  Avoid any problems flashing the BIOS to an older version. Did you do that there is no way to manually change the video memory setting in the BIOS?

  Ok. You have not provided this information before. So my previous post was a waste of time. You will need to buy HP recovery media.   I guess that the technicians ran some diagnostic tests which can detect defective parts, I guess the CPU was not affected, but the real question was the motherboard (because it was replaced).
