  You cannot physically "downgrade" a USB 3.0 port. Backwards compatible with older versions of the USB ports.

  Hello

  Go to the BIOS.
  Disable secure boot and pass the CSM UEFI.
  Save the changes and now you should be able to boot from the Windows 7 disc.

  I m surprised that you want to downgrade the OS for XP because most of the people here in the forum ask the Vista upgrade and Vista drivers!
  However, I think that most of the devices or parts are the same in the books series A100 and in my opinion you should try to use drivers from another A100 series
  Before installing the driver compare the portable devices and if another computer laptop uses the same device then you can also use the driver

  Ok. You have not provided this information before. So my previous post was a waste of time. You will need to buy HP recovery media.
