How < I > completely < /i > reinstall a wired controller Xbox 360 on a Windows PC?

I have a wired Xbox 360 controller, which I use on my PC and my laptop... Who is having trouble on the PC when the Vibration is enabled in games. (Among other problems)

I read the other post, where the answer is that the bus power supply and motherboard were not powerful enough and is that which is at the origin of the problems, now I'm not saying I wouldn't totally rule this possibility, but I'm pretty confident that my PC must be capable of this (especially if my cell phone).

I think my problem is to do the installation, because there was a problem during the installation on the PC...

So that the Xbox 360 controller installed its drivers and what - not the first time I plugged on my PC, my friend offline security "do not pull the Xbox off the shelf" section of wire and an error, but the installation is complete. The controller has the same way as it does on the laptop, for example, the green ring just keeps blinking while on the laptop, he moved to the "Player 1" quarter. However, the feature (buttons and sticks) works well in games, crashing less vibrations.

To be honest, I don't really care about the vibration and have just disabled in the game options, but I recently bought a game where I can not disable the vibration and so I can not use my controller with it. (sad face). That said, it would be nice to stop the flashing green light several times.

I tried through Add/Remove programs but do not understand how completely remove everything if I do a fresh install.

I don't know if there are any software is installed, or elements of the registry or drivers. But I need to remove what it installed so I can reinstall it without error.

My title should have been no doubt: "How to completely uninstall a wired Xbox 360 controller on a Windows PC" since it is the part of the resettlement of which I have a problem with.

Can someone help me?

Thank you! (happy face with slightly concerned Front)

  • Wired controller Xbox does not work... yet.

I had this problem before and I tried to fix it, he started working out of the blue, but now he's back, and I can't fix it. My wired Xbox controller I bought a few months ago, worked when I plugged it first of all, you have this problem, started working again out of the blue and now has stopped working again. Whenever I have it connect, the controller is powered, but isn't everything, he would light up the 1st quadrant. It flashes four times, with a few seconds of time between each flash, I think he's trying to find a driver, but for some reason some can't. When I look in Device Manager, the controller does not appear.

    I am running Windows 7 64 bit
I plugged the controller on my Xbox 360 and my other PC, and it worked very well, so it is not the controller.
I tried to download the driver to the Microsoft website and using the CD of installation, no work.
    I've tried different USB ports.
I tried to uninstall/reinstall the drivers (and I'm sure they are the right drivers to 100%).
I tried to uninstall/reinstall the drivers in safe mode.
I tried to use Windows Update.
I tried to disable driver signature enforcement.
    I tried Microsoft Fix It.
I tried to change the registry.
    Nothing works.
Any help on how to fix this? And how can I prevent this from happening again in the future?

  • Wired controller Xbox does not work

    I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

I have a 360 wired remote for my pc a few days ago, and it worked fine up until now. Whenever I have connect the controller on my pc, it lights up in the 1st and 4th quadrants for a fraction of a second, and then the whole circle lights up and flashes 4 times, there is a long pause between each flash.

I plugged my xbox 360 and my other pc, and it worked very well, if the controller is not the problem.

I think the problem is that my pc is confusing the controller for something else, he keeps it's an ethernet controller, which is clearly not.

This guide says I should have the options "HID-compliant game controller" and "USB Human Interface Device" topic "Human Interface Devices", he also says that I should have "Xbox 360 Controller for Windows" under "Microsoft common Controller for Windows class". While "HID-compliant game controller is listed, nothing else."

    I've tried different USB ports.

I tried to uninstall/reinstall the drivers (and I'm sure they are the right drivers to 100%).

I tried to uninstall/reinstall the drivers in safe mode.

I tried to use the disk that uses drivers.

I tried to use Windows Update.

I tried to disable driver signature enforcement.

    I tried Microsoft Fix It.

I tried to change the registry.

    Nothing works.

    Any ideas?

The controller does not appear under "audio, video and game controllers".

But, I thought that the controller has not shown because it was not connected, so I plugged it.

He appeared then under "Microsoft controllers to common class Windows.

    It works now.

    Thanks for all the help

  • Wired controller Xbox does not not on Windows 7 64 bit (error Code 37)

I'm having a problem with a wired Xbox controller. When I go into the Device Manager, it says that there "error code 37: Windows cannot initialize the driver. I tried already on the Xbox site support options, however, has not worked. After that, I tried to start the computer in safe mode and inserting the controller to install the drivers it. It worked in safe mode, but when I restarted in normal mode, it did not work. I also tried on another, less powerful computer, and it worked, so this isn't for lack of the computer.

  • Receiver for wireless controller Xbox 360 to PC does not

I've had my Xbox 360 controller for at least a year now and so far it has been working perfectly. But yesterday, I decided to visit my brother and took my Xbox controller and the receiver with me. I put them in a bag with a controller leads and additional third-party, got in a car to my brother's House. When I got there, we plugged the receiver to the PC, but the receiver does not light. In fact, the computer does even not recognize that a new device has been connected. The next day, I plugged it to my computer for the first time after leaving the House of my brother and it did not work this time either.

    Here is what I tried:

    • I tried all the USB ports available and may conclude that they have nothing to do with the problem. All ports operate as it should.
    • I tried on a total of 3 computers, and none of them recognize be plugged.
    • I uninstalled and reinstalled programs Microsoft Xbox 360 accessories nothing helps.

In addition, my computer does not recognize an unidentified device, but I don't think that it has nothing to do with the problem at hand. I say this because, in an attempt to solve this problem, I thought it was the cause of it and followed guides to fix. None of them worked, but I did one discovered that when I uninstalled the driver and rebooted the computer: at the time of the restart, I didn't have the receiver plugged, but he always found an unidentified aircraft. This leads me to believe that the unidentified device is not the receiver, but something else entirely (I don't know what this could be good). However, I'm not a genius when it comes to computers, so I could be wrong.

As three different computers don't recognize even not be plugged in, I suspect the receiver itself may have been damaged when I put the bag with the controllers and the receiver down in the car and refused to work because of this. However, before you start investing money on two new controllers/receivers/alternatives, I want to ask if there are solutions to the problem.

Hi and thanks for the answer.

However, additional speculation in recent days, I managed to find the problem. I peeked inside the receiver and discovered that, as I expected, some had been damaged which prevents operation of the receiver. Since then, I made some adjustments and got the spare parts and the receiver and the controller now working again.

Nevertheless, thank you for help. In the event of more problems with the controller, I'll be sure to have a look at these links.

  • Unable to get controller Xbox 360 on Run

Basically, this does not work, and I don't know why. Here are the basics:

With the rechargeable pack wireless controller

    Windows 8

Dell Inspiron with 6 GB of RAM and dual core 2.5 GHZ

Program that runs in Windows 7 compatibility mode

The controller can be found in devices and printers as "Wireless controller for Xbox 360 with plug-and-play charge kit", but it is not detected by Micro Sofy Xbox 360 accessories. Circle button on the controller has 4 lights flashing instead of one as usual.

I tried several controllers, and both have the same problem. On one, however, they illuminate the room and charges are red and the other green.

I tried to reinstall the program.

Any idea? Don't want to hit twenty clam down at least for a PC controller.
