  • Size of the image in Illustrator to Photoshop

    I'm new to Illustrator and can only be overlooking something here, but here's my background and the question:

    I took a screenshot of an image and open in Photoshop CS3. I've clipped a part I want to use and save the file as a .eps file and open it with Illustrator. In Illustrator, I recreate the image at the same size as the image I opened (I look at the two images to 100% view). I save my new image in .eps format, and then open it with Photoshop. For some reason, the image is about 50% bigger in Photoshop that was in Illustrator. Any ideas? A percentage of 100% look at a watch not really the right size of the image? Or is the problem lies with how Photoshop CS3 interprets a file .eps Illustrator CS4?

    Thanks in advance for any information or advice.

    You've discovered just resolution image and its effect on the display of the pixel based images.

    In Illustrator, there is no resolution. Objects have a set size and Illy requires a screen resolution of 72 dpi as a basis for hypotheses on the display of graphics as well as for its calculations of this 100%.

    Then export to pixel based on the file formats, you can choose the resolution.

    In Photoshop, the '100% ' has nothing to do with the actual size of things (as defined in Illustrator) but means that one pixel of the image is a pixel of your screen.

    When you open an EPS, you get a dialog box in which specify you how to photoshop must calculate the pixels of the vector and the desired resolution. When you go to 72 dpi, you should get the size you expect. But that won't be enough to print.

    BTW: the workflow to do a screen capture and convert your image here and there may be harmful for printing results.

    Hi kimhealy

    You have set display up-to-date drivers installed?

    Method 1:

    Step 1 :
    To resolve the problem, you can check if uninstalling and reinstalling then the display driver allows.
    Also check if you have any exclamation point or cross the marks on the sides of display devices listed in Device Manager.

    a. click Startand then click Control Panel.

    b. click system and Maintenance, click Systemand then click on Device Manager.
    Note If Control Panel is in Classic view, double-click System, and then click Device Manager.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.

    c. in the Manager device, expand display driver, display devices, right-click and then click on Properties and on the driver tab, click Uninstall.

    d. When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click OK.

    e. restart the computer.

    After the computer restarts, the drivers will be installed automatically.

    Step 2:

    If the problem persists I suggest you to check if you install the latest updated driver on the manufacturer's Web site to help you.

    There is no way to do it with just Muse. You will need to write a custom for this widget. I'm not aware of all this, but you can check at www.musewidgets.com and see. You can also contact some of the developers as MuseGrid, Quooqee or Muse-topics and offer this kind of Gallery for a future widget.

  • How to change a size of the image grid fluid div

    I am new to Dreamweaver and the design of web sites in general I am limited in CSS and HTML coding but I am learning.  I use the fluid grid in Dreamweaver CS6 but experience a problem to change the size of the image to reduce its size for mobile display only.  I unfortunately have anything online as I'm just trying to understand the things before you go ahead and build my site.  I hope that this will be a simple answer, I'm just completely missing.  I did a test with CSS and I changed the img to display: block and then change the width and the height at different percentages... makes look aweful views DW but was great in all browsers except Safari seen as DW... very distorted.  The other option, I am currently looking is just to take the image out of the mobile display by display: none.  It works but not my preferred option.  A point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

    Try this: it will limit your logo and img to no more than this is the original size.

    #logo {}

    Clear: both;

    float: left;

    left margin: 0;

    Max-width: 100%;

    display: block;

    }

    #logo img {}

    display: block;

    margin-right: auto;

    left margin: auto;

    Max-width: 100%;

    }

    Otherwise, it appears as expected.  Have you tested in a real smartphone yet?

  • How to adjust the size of the canvas to the size of the image

    Ok... Elements frustrates me and if anyone can help I would appriciate it.  I have a pano I asked elements to create from 2 JPEG images.  He did a wonderful job.  After that I've cropped on the areas that I didn't, I now have an image smaller than the drawing area.  Now, I want to resize the drawing to the size of the image area.  Is there an easy way to do this?  I know that I can make adjustments of thin cloth (width and height) over and over again and even more until it corresponds to the image, but that takes so long and is so frustrating.  Is there a button that simply resizes the canvas to the image?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Wow!  I thought that my script would be useful, that I just wasn't expecting to be so little time.

    you want to use the onLoadInit() function to be able to interact with the loaded image.

    myListener.onLoadInit = {function (mc:MovieClip)}

  • Loss of the size of the image when exporting .tif

    I have a series of .tif images that have original dimensions of ~ 4700 x 4700. However, when I open them in illustrator, they invariably under ~ 1750 x 1750. TIF, even if no changes have been made. How to preserve the size of the image?

    Lol Illustrator will always respect the resolution setting. You will need to put the image in Illustrator, if you want to keep the resolution.

  • Photoshop CS6: Change the default resolution for the 'Document size' in the Image Size dialog box?

    I have a Canon EOS 40 d, Photoshop CS6 and Adobe Bridge CS6.  I shot everything in RAW.

    When it's time to change the images, I start by opening in RAW using Adobe Bridge.  When I finished to make adjustments, I click the button open an Image that contains the image to Photoshop.  When I put them to the top of the dialog box size of the Image, the size of the Document is still 240 DPI.

    Is it possible to change this default?  If so, how?

    Click on the text in blue at the bottom of the Camera raw window and change the ppi there.

  • Adjust the size of the image in first pro

    I try to include a picture in the beginning of my video, but as I put the photo in the timeline it becomes big, and so he only discovers a zoom in a part of the image.

    The size of the image is 5312 x 2988. File size 4.37 MB

    Howe do?

    Hi Sam,

    As your sequence settings do not match the resolution of the image, it was enlarged. You will need to put the image down to match the size of the sequence. You can either "Scale image size" or manually change the scale in the effect controls panel.

    Thank you

  • Question on "Scale to the size of the image by default"

    Hello

    I put my sequence of 1080 p at 25 fps.

    However, my source material are a mixture of 4K video and also extracts of 720 p and also some pictures.

    I noticed that if I uncheck the "Default scale to the size of the image" box, each time, I put the clips imported into the timeline, it's too big and I have to go the effect controls panel to reduce the size. It is very time consuming especially if I have a lot of 4K video clips on the timeline.

    According to me, that if I check the box of 'Default scale to the size of the image', when I put the 4K video on the timeline, it fits very well. My question is when I enlarge him to say the Pan effect, of the resolution will be downgraded compared to when I do not check the "default scale to the size of the image" box?

    Thank you

    If you use the scale to the size of the image, either in manual application or by ticking the "default image size scale" in preferences, your clips will be scaled down (in the case of the 4 K sequence) or upwards (in the case of the sequence of 720 p). In both cases, the clips on the timeline for reference the original source material, so all of the pixel content present in the 4K source, for example, is always available for you to resize.

    You will notice, however, that if you open Motion and see the scale component - it will read 100% because - the clip on the timeline has indeed been reduced to sequence frame size - making it difficult to * how the clip was be reduced or enlarged as the balance indicates the same.

    A better way to edit the clips to the timeline the clip on the timeline, and then select and right click or control click and choose the size of the image, the value and now scale will reflect the percentage reduction or expansion, so you can see how much you can resize until you start to lose resolution.

    Unfortunately, the set to the size of the image is not yet available as a default, you will need to use it manually.

  • Size of the image using 13 items

    My images from shoots of camera that are 4000 X 3000, but when I take off the coast and open map with items 13.  They offer like 4000 X 2664 cut the top of the image. Why and how can I fix?

    Sounds like your using the 3:2 rather than 4:3 in the camera settings for the size of the image (aspect ratio)?

    In the dialog box camera raw if you click on the crop tool, and then click clear culture, does make a difference in size?

  • Change the size of the image, no res

    Hello

    How can I change the size of an image in Photoshop without changing the resolution?

    My original image is 300 res, I lowered to 72, and it decreased the size.

    I want to keep to 72, but expand.

    Also be involved; How can I make 1000 pixels or more on the long side (of the image)?

    Thank you

    If you want that the print size to change without changing the actual size of the image, uncheck resampling and enter the desired size of your image to print - say 5 "impression rather than 3". This will change the dpi, because both are related to the sizing non-re-sampled. If you want to keep the 3 "which was 300, but you want it to 72, then click on resample and change the resolution to 72, but this will change the actual pixels of your image dimensions.

    To make 1000px, select resample and pixels in the drop-down list and enter 1000 for the long side.

  • Size of the image changes when you move an image between Lightroom and CC.

    Size of the image changes when you move an image between Lightroom and CC.

    I opened a .dng image in LR and then opened it in the develop module.  I clicked on Crop Overlay and then on the "As Shot" (the lock is closed) menu drop-down and cropped to 11 x 17 and click 'Done '-.

    I click Ctrl-E and the image opens in the CC.  I click on the Image > Image size and the size of the Image is 13,288 inches on 20,533.

    Why change the size of the image?

    I believe that there is a menu to control the size of the image, and I've looked everywhere I see in LR and CC, I have googled various descriptions and I checked both Kelby books, but I can't understand not just how to keep the image at a uniform height when moving between LR and CC.

    Help!... Please?

    The size of the image has not changed. The number of pixels has not changed. Let me tell you. The number of pixels has not changed to a single pixel.

    The numbers relatively meaningless displayed by your software have changed.

    The image is always format 11 x 17 (17 divided by 11 = 1.545 and 20.533 divided by 13.288 = 1.545)
