How stop/start instance forms/States, servers, etc.

Hi all

I'm confused, which includes a fusion middleware.

I installed weblogic, forms, and reports. These are the three elements that I need.

The documentation says that the sequence is

1. start weblogic

2. start forms

3. run the reports

But I can't find any simple commands in google how these three components to start.

But there is a lot of confusion command how to start the fusion middleware

MW_HOME domain_name/user_projects/domains/DomainName/bin/startNodeManager.sh

opmnctl startall

opmnctl stopall

opmnctl startproc ias-component = EMAGENT

opmnctl stopproc ias-component = EMAGENT

Are these forms and reports include process instance?

Thank you very much

JC

Yes, Jc. You don't need to go to the url and run em. You can just use the controls on the main server.

Kind regards

  • How to start the database and servers after the installation of the Webcenter JSK Portal

    Hello

I finally installed the portal WebCenter using JSK, after it turned off the machine, I don't know how to start the database or server, I need to set the environment variables? create the oracletab file? or is it a file .sh to start the database and servers?

    Any help will be great!

    Best regards!

    Thanks Françoise-Oracle for your response

As you say, I need to go to /WCPortal_JSK_Linux.x 86-64/linux64, I found all the scripts that I needed to start or stop a server or database. But more especially if you run evertything, (I did) you just need to run the de./startup.sh script and wait, he'll run, but take some time.

    Best regards!

  • How to start a form of troubleshooting?

My client and I are having trouble getting this form to work. It is intended to be downloaded, completed and saved, but the fields are easily fillable on-screen. I have (tried to) enable advanced features.

How can I start this diagnosis? It would be easier to do something like Open Office?

    Here is the form:

    http://mindful-living.ca/Intake_form.PDF

It is not clear what you're trying to do. The form that you linked is not an interactive form, it's something you print and fill in with a pen or a pencil. If you fill out this form in Acrobat or the free player, you must use the annotation tools, requiring decide where to enter text, and then move the text around "look good". It is much easier to use the form Acrobat features to add interactive form fields and allow the user, then click in this field and add information. This will always be better - and will be easier to use - as a form without interactive elements.

  • Bought a server used, not sure how stop start.

    Greetings,

We bought some material and when we put it together it keeps starting to VMware ESXi 4.1.0 despite all that we are all some help. There is something in the BIOS, it seems that it is the trigger because we could not even boot from CD or USB. T here is without OS installed (disks disappeared already) and we do not have the username / password that it claims. In addition, we have attempted to download the tools stipulating the screen are available, but could not get the server through its IP (the IP address displayed on the screen).

I did some searching on Google but have not found what be meaning made to solve this problem, perhaps in part because of my lack of knowledge on this product. We just need to get the server to a generic State to install an operating system, and to advance our efforts.

Can anyone advise on the right way to solve this problem?

    Thank you

If the drives were erased, it is most likely, a slot SD/USB internal that ESXi has been installed, and that is the first option in the boot sequence.

  • Start & stop an instance RAC

    Hello

I just created a 2 node 11 GR 2 database RAC, traditionally from databases not CARS I would just use sqlplus to start / stop the instance

Q1. What is the recommended way to start / stop an instance in a RAC environment? Do you use a cluster to do command, or is sqlplus is acceptable?

Q2. If you use sqlplus and more to stop an instance on a node, I presume that the cluster services is NOT as a failure and so don't try to restart the instance?

Q3. similiarly what is the best way to start / stop a listener on a particular node?

    any help appreciated

    Jim

    Hello Jim,

Q1. What is the problem with the status not reflected in the output of clusterware resource? Is it to do with the ability of Services to acknowledge a failure and restart the CLuster service?

Response: The resource database is not parsed by SIR and if the database suddenly stops then none will try to restart the same.

Q2. Regarding the automatic closing of a database in a CCR environment (as opposed to the manual method which I asked on-) if I simply turn off the cluster nodes of my will which in turn stops the Instances and close the database RAC itself (when the last Instance is closed)?

For even if I turn on my knots, the first node start cluster, its instance and open the database?

Answer: well, if you turn off your server then of course the database and stop anything else running on the server. When the server is under tension and if crs autostart is enabled then the clusterware stack will come with the server

Q3. What is the difference between a Service and a resource of the cluster? Are the database, earphone etc services or resources? I'm just trying to understand why SVRCTL is used to manipulate the database and listener and not say CRSCTL?

Answer: You can configure a service which is part of tree resources of database and the resource database is a parent for the same thing. Services are used to connect to the database. Database, (if added) services, asm, listener, scan etc are all the resources of the clusterware, which are monitored by the clusterware.

You can refer to the Oracle documentation, which will give you more insight on these details

  • Photosmart C6180 problem of Power-Up/Power-Down - loops on/stop/start/stop etc.

I had the C6180 Photosmart wireless connected to a Mac OS X 10.5.6 laptop Macbook Intel and IBM PC XP SP 2 for more than 2 years.  I did have major problems with the printer.

Recently, I have known a couple of electric in my house.  Since then the printer has turned off randomly once or twice.  Today the printer began to turn off/on/off/on/turned off/turned on etc.

It lights up and shows the HP logo and process bar animation for one minute, followed by the message: "abnormal termination.  To avoid damage on the button to turn off the printer.  Do not use a wall or the band switch to close.  Press OK.  Then he stops and leaves upward.

I tried to enter batch Mfg mode by organizing the * and # keys.  It flashes "Mfg commands - enter special Key Combo" for the second of two, then stops and makes a loop on/stop/start/stop again and again.

I have disconnected all data cables, installs the printer in another room, closes the wifi on both computers and connected directly to the wall on a different circuit to eliminate problems of low power as the culprit.  I swapped the power cable between the wall and the block of the AC adapter with the same exact type of cord of another piece of equipment with the same results.

I wonder if it is a symptom of a surfboard logic damaged in the printer, or a problem with the AC adapter?

If it is the logic board, does pay to get it fixed?  An equivalent printer for Mac would cost about $200.  Not to mention that I came just to have stored on cartridges.

What is a likely indication of a problem of brick AC adapter?  If so, should I spring for a replacement block AC adapter for $30?

I was not able to find this question in a post on the forum and I was wondering if it's 'Au revoir' to the C6180?

Thank you for your contribution to this number

    Try this:

    1. If the printer is still on, unplug all rigid and flexible cables at the back of the printer.

2 unplug the power cord also from the wall...

    3. wait for two minutes.

4 reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet first.

    5. hold the pound (#) and six 6 buttons.

    6. all by pressing the two buttons, reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer and at the end of two seconds, exit book and six buttons.

    7. turn on the printer if it goes out...

    Let me know the results.

  • SUBJECT VERY ESSENTIAL... HOW TO START A DATABASE PROJECT

    Hello everyone,

I actually followed several courses in Oracle, in particular, in DBA. With the fact that all my classes are hands-on classes, but I really want to start something for me. I want to see me do something. For example, an oracle database for a school. I know it's a very big project; but I want to create a small demo of the project for a school database.

My problem is I don't know where to start! Should I create the tables first through SQL. create points of view; Enter some data demonstration; Then go to build forms; and build reports? This is how it works?

Please give me an advice in simple and clear words.

    Thank you very much.

How to start a database project is no different from any other software development project. There is a basic software development lifecycle SDLC (or life).

The first thing to do is to determine the objectives of the project. You know what must the project and what requirements must be completed.

If you do not know that... so how do you know what to develop, how to test that and when to stop development?

There are tons of books on the subject. There are many views and opinions, and SDLC methodologies - but your project does not have a dollar of multi-million one, you can afford to keep it simple and easy.

The basic software engineering life cycle has the following steps.

User specification. This article describes the basic problem (in a perspective of business or user) that needs to be addressed. For example the school needs a student registration system...

Specification of functional requirements. These are crucial because they determine the goal of the project posts. The final solution s/w is checked against this and every listed function checked to see if the s/w addresses. Functional specifications are independent of the technology. No project, no architecture and no coding considerations at this stage. Instead, the functions are described that the system must support. For example "add new student" will be such a function. "a transfer student" another. Each function will be described in detail (from the perspective of the company) exactly what the company needs to do and have to perform with success this business function.

Requirement technical specifications. This translates the functional specification in the data sheet. These technical specifications is what will be used to develop the system and that developers will use. It should contain the data, specification of database model, specifications of language, standards, architecture, interfaces and management controls and so on — all the workings of the proposed solution.

Development and test phase. This is where the database is created, a software written, created test harness, etc.. This is typically an iterative phase (develop service abctest abc, defdevelop, test the function def, function etc.).

Deployment phase. In this phase the system for the use of production - and often goes hand in hand with final test and acceptance (by ensuring that the delivered system meets the requirements of functional specifications).

In a Word, this is the essence of a software lifecycle. There may be many differences on that. Agile design and development is a relatively new approach (but always contains the basic ingredients of above). It was JAD (joint application development) which became popular in the 1990s. There is DSDM (Dynamic Systems Development method) and others.

But don't be too preoccupied by these--as sucks it that you understand the basis of the life cycle of software engineering and know how to create the action plan you need before that start whacking away at the keyboard creating tables and writing code.

  • How to start Oracle service automatically?

    Hello

I use Linux server with Oracle10g. Often my server is restarted, in this scenario, I want to restart all the databases andllistener. Please inform me how automatically start Services/instances Oracle while rebooting the server?

    Thank you
    Goussard

You must create the new service which will start and stop databases and listeners when the server is restarted.
Linux new services are created under /etc/init.d - and then it should start/stop script for oracle having created new service must be added and run levels are configured.

You can start by reading this link:
    http://www.Linux.com/articles/46892

    4 crsctl stop crs

    That should be enough:

    1. stop the database:
    srvctl stop instance instance_name-i d db_name
    example:
    instance d srvctl test1-i test

    2. stop the crs (it will stop also to listeners and applications):
    crsctl stop crs

Applications can be verified this way (but it does not work after that crs is down.):
    applications of status srvcrl

    And the instance of departure:
1 beginning of crs (it will start also the listeners and applications):
    crsctl start crs

It takes time so you need to check this, until everything is online (after performance):
    crsctl check crs

After all is starting the database online.

    2. start the database:
    srvctl start instance instance_name-i d db_name
    example:
srvctl start instance test test1-i d
