  You just 'Add' a language. You would have to edit all applications to create strings of replacement for all menus, dialog messages, buttons, etc., that it doesn't translate from one language to the other. Each application has a list of strings mapped to the display string for each supported language. The localized string replaces the generic string in the user interface element.

  You can try to contact Apple and volunteer to locate the operating system, they would have confidence in you (unlikely) or hire a person to validate your work.

  You can use \n like you did to indicate a new row or \r (carriage return). If this does not work, be sure to set the Multiline field on the Options tab of the field properties dialog box.

  If the program is not listed, you can force it is always the default value using a file that is used.

  Since it's Adobe Acrobat, here is how to do it.

  1. Do right click any Adobe PDF file and choose Open with, choose the default program, and then search for and select the program Adobe Acrobat is the default value.
  2. It is not really a step 2, but at this stage, that the selection will be used whenever you double-click on a PDF file.

• Can I use the recovery CD without losing all my data?

  When I turn on my laptop satellite I get a message saying that the Windows system file is missing or damaged. The standard fix seems to be to repair using the Windows CD of Installation which of course I did not. I've also seen suggestions that sometimes chkdsk will fix the problem, but I can't run no more.

  The insert on the product recovery disc warns that all created files since I bought the laptop will be deleted. However, when I load the utility, I get two options. The first is to reinstall XP on my entire hard drive, and he told me that if I do that, I'll lose all my files. The second option is to install XP on a separate partition on my hard drive. He said nothing to lose all my data. Am I right in thinking that this second option will be to install XP, say, E: and I will then be able to run chkdsk on C:, or at least access C: and back up all my data?

  Sounds like you have an old Win XP Recovery disk

  Of general use of the Toshiba Recovery disk would be to format the whole HARD drive and therefore existing partitions will be deleted too I m not quite sure on the second option, you mentioned, maybe you would be able to choose a partition during the recovery process and would be able to install the operating system only on this partition without formatting the HARD drive but I m not 100% sure because it seems to be a former recovery procedure

  I would recommend another solution. You want to access the HARD drive to back up data. Right? Why you n start t Notepad using a Livecd such as Knoppix. In this case nothing would be installed on the HARD drive and the data on the HARD drive would not be affected so you can access important data and can move a HDD connected USB or flash memory stick

  After that, you can run the recovery procedure and might install Win XP on C.

  Akshay, please indicate which version of jdev you use.

  Do you mean that you have a table that is embedded in a panelCollection? then the panelCollection have a menu of facets that you can activate by dropping a menu as a child a menuItem. This menu will appear next to the other menu existing menu. The property of action or actionListener menuItem points to the same action button points to.

  (1) export data in text file using dataexport levo base calc script in the cube loadable format.
  (2) add and build the new dimension
  (3) write a rule with the definition file of the header with the default member of the missing dimension to which you want to map the historical data.
  (4) load the data in step 1 has been exported with the rules in step 3 file.
  (5) verify and aggregate.

  To be sure why don't export you all the data in the format of the column, then you can create a rule from load to load again against a member in your new dimension.
