  I created 2 models in my designer:
  
  HYPERION_MODEL_TEST and ORACLE_SQL_SOURCE, the first has the reverse engineering dimensions ranging from planning and the other is to get the table that contains the members of my size. For the staging area, the synopsis in memory DB is used.
  
  LKM SQL for SQL and SQL IKM in Hyperion Planning is used.
  
  In the interface, I take the source table and the dimension of planning as a target I map the Parent, Alias account: by default, the data storage and ownership of aggregation (Plan1) of the target of the GBA in my dimension table.
  
  All be saved well and when I run it I get the error, clues?

  First of all there is no interest in using the memory storage engine as the staging area if Oracle is your source, you can also use Oracle as the transit area, the staging area probably will not be used as usual a straight SQL query will be generated.
  In your target mappings have also tried setting "run on the staging.

  Hi, we have an existing application in which some data resides, if we want to add a new dimension in the new application is now possible and recommended to the to do.

  The amount of data is in the cube.
  If it's only essbase application, after adding the new dimension when you save, essbase will ask what the new dimension member, data should be mapped prior to the restructuring. You can select a member by default to map the historical data.

  But this isn't the approach recommended in the production. Below may be the best.

  (1) export data in text file using dataexport levo base calc script in the cube loadable format.
  (2) add and build the new dimension
  (3) write a rule with the definition file of the header with the default member of the missing dimension to which you want to map the historical data.
  (4) load the data in step 1 has been exported with the rules in step 3 file.
  (5) verify and aggregate.

• IOM 11.1.2.2 - new instance of the application is not visible in the catalogue

  I installed the Oracle Fusion Middleware Identity Management 11g R2 Media Pack v8 - 11.1.2.2...  When I created the new instance of the application, I don't see this case in the catalog. I found a similar question in the Metalink (Doc ID 1624482.1), but a workaround described it does not work for me. Workaround does not work for me is: the value "Update Date" in 'Task catalog synchronization' last value and run the job again.

  In the version 11.1.2.1 it woks fine.

  Please, can someone help me solve this problem?

  my colleague and I, we found a solution.

  Looks like the Sun Java System Directory Connector is not supported in the version 11.1.2.2 IOM or the bug is there. I thing it's a bug! IOM 11.1.2.2 uses more SQL select / insert when catalog synchronization task.

  The problem is that the object (object type?) of the connector SJSD has the value OBJ_TRUSTED_SOURCE in the table OBJ is NULL but query catalog synchronization expected value 0 or 1.

  And the solution?

  The value of 0 OBJ_TRUSTED_SOURCE. Example: update obj_trusted_source set obj is '0' where obj_key = 5;.

  You have two choices:

  (1) make a new version of your app in the App Builder is the latest version of DPS

  (2) redo your folio in the new dialog box, and folio, select a version of Viewer target that matches or is earlier than the version of your app in the store.

  As of now, we must build the dimensions, forms and the entire application. But if in the future my business grows and there could be a situation where I have to add new dimensions to my existing cube. Is - is this posible?
  
  According to my feeling, I think we can add members to the already existing dimension. but we cannot add new dimensions as a whole. Coz that will still impact on the forms and reports that we have built. What wud is the solution for this.

  If the user will certainly want the dimensions to the future, is happy to have dimensions that are not intended to be used for a while and then create the dimensions and do not yet put all members against them.

• How to add a new dimension in the ASO cube without losing all the data

  I have an ASO cube with 18 dimensions and I want to add a new (regular). When I add this new dimension he asked me that data all have cleared out before the restructuring can take place. If I click Yes then I would lose all data, regardless of the fact if I export Level0 or not.   You can try this work around solution.

  (1) export data from Lev0
  (2) delete the cube
  (3) add the new regular dimension.
  (4) add a default member Reg00 in the new dimension and save.
  (5) open Lev0 data in a text editor, insert 'Reg00' at the beginning of the file and enter.
  (6) Lev0 file will first record 'Reg00' and the remaining export file will be of the second disk.
  (7) load the file changed with a rules file.

  You can check all your history data will be loaded w.r.to the Reg00 of the new regular dimension.

  When we tried reversed on a planning Application, I'm not able to see the scenarios, years, Versions and dimensions period under the folder of Application model. Accounts of entities and other dimensions of the UDA has spilled and I am able to load the metadata for them.

  Do not forget that in the file listener, you actually in the mail app not running your application.  You need get this change is made in your application.  The best way to proceed is to use GlobalEvents, that fire in your listener and deal with it in your Application to change the icon.

  Hi all

  We are developing an application of classical planning using Hyperion 11.1.2.2.

  The application is complete and now we need to run this application. To do this, we have decided that we will keep this request as a test instance and we will create a separate instance of this application on the same server with name i.e different cloning even application on the same server with a different name.

  Currently, I do this by taking the test through LCM (Group of the Application) application and then manually open each back file and replace the name of the application with the name of the new application for production and then import this backup changed using LCM (File System). It does the job in my case, but few data forms are not opened in the cloned application, however the same forms work correctly on the Test instance.

  Is there a good way to achieve the same behavior.

  Why you edit each file, using LCM you can copy artifacts from one application to another

  You can take the full LCM of backup of the application,

  Create a new empty application (make sure the application definition is the same as the original request ex: PlanType names, start year, multi-currency etc).

  restore the backup made in step 1 to the new application,

  Or:

  Create a Datasouce,

  Create a new application, say NewApp,

  Copy a relational database from the original planning application and restore the database used in the creation of source of data in step 1,

  Restart the planning,

  NewApp will now be replicated, request

  Create the database of planning,

  Load the data.

  I'm trying to load a metadata in Hyperion Planning (11.1.2.3.500) using ODI (11.1.1.7), but does not work, I received an error message, all the records has been rejecteds.

  This is the error message:
