  First of all, to deal with the programs at startup, click on start / all programs / accessories / run and type msconfig.exe, and then enter.  Go to the Startup tab and uncheck everything what you don't need from start (most is not necessary, but simply useful, but if not checked periodically it can accumulate over time).  You need your antimalware program and virtually all the rest of the list is optional (but some may be required for your system, so be a little careful, but if you uncheck something you really need and find out later, you can always go back and check again isn't a big concern).   If this does not work, then come back and tell me your exact version of Windows (32-bit Vista Business SP2 - and Yes, much more in detail) and we will try a clean boot troubleshooting procedure to try to find the culprits causing the problem - but I hope it won't be necessary.

  To configure your desktop computer to activate the optical audio cable, I advise you to follow the steps below:

  Step 1. Click on the button of the Windows key on your desktop

  Step 2. Type "Control Panel."

  Step 3. Select "Control Panel" in the upper right corner

  Step 4. Select sound

  Step 5. On the Read tab, right click on the white box under available devices

  Step 6. Select "Show disabled" and "show disconnected devices".

  Step 7. Connect your Audio optical cable

  Step 8. Select your cable Audio perspective as the default device, and click 'enable '.

  Because it is not possible to convert the audio output HDMI output on your laptop, it is regrettable that the laptop is not able to connect with an optical audio cable.

  Jigg, I liked your comment about how LabView and TestStand is spelled... lol... Although the word becomes crazy when you put TestStand and LabView for the first time if you add them to the dictionary lol...

  I also agree with Jigg on how LabView has several fields of expertise it is difficult to be good/expert in each of them.

  Is difficult to find a job of TestStand/LabView you 100% that. Usually, what I see is that companies also want to make you a hardware design and know how to ask a panel of the map above to simulate this on spice etc... then you'll do the tester also lol...

  If you join a small consulting company, you'll have for breakfast LabView, LabView for lunch and for dinner Labview and I bet you will learn a lot.
