  I had this problem where Dreamweaver CS6 changes the permissions of the file downloading. I get a HTTP 403 error when you try to view the pages. I have to manually reset the permissions on each .html file after download. Sometimes, I have to go through the Server Manager and reset all the permissions for the site. It is not specific to a server, because it happened on three different servers. I am running OSX 10.7.4 on a MacBook Pro.

  I have about 500 files in a directory that I want to delete but I get a warning "you need permission to administrators to make changes to this file.

  To remove a single folder, I need to click with the right button on the file/properties/security/edit/administrators /-> total control.

  Follow these steps:

  1. Right-click on the parent directory
  2. Select Properties
  3. Go to the Security tab
  4. Press the Advanced button
  5. Press change permissions... button
  6. Give full control of your user name
  7. Make sure that 'Replace all permissions of child object with permissions inheritable this object' is selected
  8. OK your way out

  Hind site, it would have been better to leave the trial run before the upgrade or wait until you upgrade and then installed the trial. I'm afraid that it compromised the authorisation scheme that counts how many days you have left.

  OK, there was a program called vista internet 2010 which was annoying the heck out of me, so I went into the Task Manager and looked at its properties, I tried to not allow it to do anything (which now it doesn't), but she also does not allow me to open any programs, how could I solve this problem , there is no way to get the properties of the program, either. I'm afraid you're not going to get this working under Windows 7 Home Premium64bits. I suggest upgrading to Windows 7 Professional using any time and download the free Windows Virtual PC with Windows XP Mode and run it via that. I would not be surprised if it is a 16-bit program.

  I need to change the DNS Zone files manually because the DNS Server App Manager does not provide a U / I in order to add some elements (such as adding a delegation, etc.).  I use TextWrangler (5.0.2) as editor-in-Chief.

  I was able to find the zone files to:

  Since a window Terminal, if I go to that directory and type:

  I am logged in using an administrator account.

  Before editing the db. files, I turned off the DNS in the App Server, then exit the server application server.

  What should I do to manually update the db. files?

  These files are protected from root.  You need to elevate your permissions to be able to change them.

  Probably you use a text editor like vi, nano or pico command line.  sudo vi/path/to/file for example.

  Back up the files first to protect against error.  In addition, be aware that Apple can run on some of your changes if you change the.app areas.
