How to change vista to windows 7

If I installed a windows 7 dvd on my computer (windows vista), I want to change it by not using is not windows 7 back in windows vista

You mean change from Windows 7 to Vista?

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, Acer, recovery disk/s etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    Hello
    Since a few days, I bought a Toshiba Satellite A200-1CR. I am very satisfied with the laptop, although I do not work for Vista Home Basic Edition, because it is not to support the programs of the sum, so I change my operating system from Vista Home Basic to Windows XP SP2 home edition.
    If I prefer to reformat the laptop and install Windows XP service pack 2 (32-bit or 64-bit, not sure yet).
    However I do not know if I have to do something special for him, because it's my first laptop I have and I haven't had that one time a laptop with drivers on a CD. Now I m operating system, I think I need a driver s disc switching.
    If I changed vista to XP is there any software support?
    Vista for XP service pack2 change possible or not?
    Someone help me. If changing the operating system where I can get the driver software?
    Hello
    Yes, you can install Windows XP SP2.
    There are two things you need to be aware of:
    (1) you need a SATA of F6 driver on a floppy disk when installing XP. Otherwise XP does not detect the SATA HDD. Search for "SATA" of this section, it is already been covered several times.
    (2) after installing XP, you should download and install the XP A200 drivers from the Toshiba Europe Support/Drivers site
  • How dual boot Vista and Windows 7
    I'm using vista Home premium and want to install windows 7 a.m. premium as a dual boot. If I decide later by far with windows vista and keep only 7 How can proceed?
    Assuming that my OS is windows 7 can I use the same disk of vista on the virtual machine with the same product key.
    Vista and 7 cannot exist on the same partition as a dual boot? How to do it.
    Is ther to disadvantages in dual boot?
    There are no real problems with dual boot if it's Setup corrrectly.
    You need operating systems on separate partitions (readers not necessarily distinct, but definitely separate from the partitions).
    If you uninstall Vista later and it's a copy to the details of the program, then you can install it in a virtual drive using the same product key (but you'll probably need to activate manually).
    Here's how Dual boot Vista with Widows7: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/5166-dual-boot-installation-windows-7-vista.html.
    Although written for other systems, the process to remove a dual boot will work with Windows7 and Vista (although you may need to use the commands and Windows7 disk): http://vistasupport.mvps.org/remove_windows_vista_from_dual_boot_system.htm depending on the situation and that was installed first.
    I hope this helps.
    This product has not been tested by the compatibility of HP Center, but what I see on your card, I recommend to go to Windows 7 64-bit.  Try with BIOS that you already have, and if you need to update the BIOS, use the solution as shown in the link you provided.
  • How to change the default (Windows 7) painting 'Save as type' JPG (from PNG) format when recording using the * only * the keyboard?
    This is the 2nd time this same question, the 1st time that I was given an irrelevant answer which was not helpful at all. Please take the time to read and understand what I need to before you answer.
    I just need to learn how to change the default PNG to JPG, so every time I save a screenshot using (only) the keyboard, it will already be showing JPG as the "Save as type". I am sure that it requires an edit registry so just point me in the right direction and guide me on how to do it, that's all I need.
    To help you understand my dilemma, I take a lot of screenshots and Ctrl + V paste in Paint almost daily. Since my physical disability in my arms causing me pain and discomfort when I use the mouse, I avoid using the mouse I use the shortcuts as much as possible to help reduce the constant pain, I'm still in my right arm when using the mouse. I hope I have explained well enough details.
    If it's in the wrong place, please move to a better place.
    Thank you
    Lee
    I don't know of any registry value, but you can use the key sequence to "Save as jpg.
    ALT
    F
    V
    J
    The F key may be pressed simultaneously with the ALT key or after him.
    You can reduce the number of keys to just ALT plus a digital key by using the following, adapted from one method described HERE.   Setup is much easier with a mouse, but can be done using the keyboard only.  I showed you the controls and mouse shortcuts keyboard to add an icon "" Save as JPG"to the Quick Access toolbar.
    Open Paint
    Mouse Keyboard equivalent
    Click on the file Menu (upper-left) Press ALT + F to open the file Menu
    Hover mouse on ' Save as ' to open the list of file types Press V to view the list of file types
    Right click on JPG to open the context menu Use the TAB or down arrow key to select JPG and then press SHIFT + F10 to open the context menu
    Click "add to quick access toolbar. Press A to "add to the Quick Access toolbar.
    At this point, your installation is complete.
    With open Paint, press the ALT key .  This will display the keys associated with various actions.  In my case, "" Save as JPG"icon that has been added to the Quick Access toolbar was the fifth icon (after save, undo, redo and print).  So, to "Save as JPG," I would press ALT+5 (even once, you can press 5 either with or after you press the ALT key).
  • HOW DO I CHANGE VISTA IN WINDOWS XP
    Im trying to remove vista and install windows xp, but it doesn't seem to WORK. I did a backup with all my business and idk this is nothing passed. Subsequently, I made a CD for windows xp and nothing works at all! so I don't know what to do, I want to get rid of vista for GOOD! can anyone tell the steps of how its done
    What PC model do you have?
    What version of XP you have 32-bit or 64-bit?
    The main steps are quite simple. You download the necessary drivers for the hardware of your PC before decommissioning (things like graphics and sound chipset). Then make sure that your PC is set to boot from your CD drive by changing the boot priority in the BIOS. Then you put the XP CD in the drive and reboot the PC. XP will start to install and then come to a screen that talk you about your disk partitions. You'll probably two listed, one with Vista and one listed as "recovery". Make sure before that you wipe your recovery partition that you created recovery disks in case you ever want to go back to Vista. Without the recovery disks, you will not be able to go back.
    If you want to dual boot XP and Vista, you must create a new partition and leave the previous Vista partition. But if you want just XP out there, you need to remove the other partitions, then select install XP as a new partition. When XP is installed, you might encounter a problem of "Drive not detected" or something similar. This does not reach every installation of XP, but if this is the case, you will need to change the configuration of your hard drive in your BIOS SATA to IDE. And then run the installation... which is the easiest way... There is another way, but it's technically harder because you have to create your own install XP with SATA drivers disc.
    If you tell us your model of PC, we can help you find the XP drivers for the hardware.
  • How to change Vista Home Premium to Windows XP
    I just bought a laptop with Vista Home Premium, but the software I use, mainly PageMaker and Quark will not charge.
    Can I install Windows XP to run alongside Vista and if so, how, or is there another way around my problem
    SOG1943
    If the applications you use are not compatible with Vista, then you need the Win XP.
    If you want to use the Win XP you must buy and the version complete and install it on the laptop.
    All that s.
