  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

GoTo all programs search and type in Recovery Manager click that above and open it. Click Yes (white box) so it apears. Select Microsoft System Restore Click next to three windows now you will see a list of dates, select a date prior to the installation of the update, then click. Let the computer do its restoration. Once done see if your problem is solved, if so try the update again, make you that the update is for 64-bit Windows 7 computers before you download it again. If that happens again once you know what AVG is not compatible for your computer.

  Probably you have only received part of the witch update caused this problem due to the disruption of atmospheres. Sometimes this happens. Put day of my HP only made once.   No, my laptop model is HP Pavilion dv6 1337tx. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. So, today, I shut my laptop down by force by pressing the power button because it did not at this time. Then the next time I turned it the wrong problem started. Whenever I'm on the HP logo sometimes and then the Windows logo comes also. But then the screen stays black and the mouse cursor appears. So, what can be the cause of this problem? I also tried to open with 'safe mode' and 'safe mode with command prompt', but they did not help either.
