  Have you tried clicking the small X in the upper right of the tab you want to close? If you click on the big red X in the header of Firefox, it will close the whole window, including tabs. If you just want to close the current tab, use the X associated with this tab and you should be fixed.

  CTRL + W closes a tab at a time. It also closes a window if there is only one tab open in this browser.

  Yes, you can create a copy of the page in issue 3 of the page and have this one to create only on records. Page 3 should have its own tab and page 2 (Edit page) uses the same tab that the report page. Thus, the user can never go directly to the edit page (they should go to the report page) but they can go directly to the registration page.

  I guess you have been following this article: Firefox says it's just updated each time that it starts - how to fix. Note that the most recent Firefox 33.1 (your user watch 33.0 agent), so if you use later, try to update again and see if that makes the page appears for the last time.

  If the above does not work, try to go through How to set preferences that will not save. It could be a third-party application like antivirus software prevents your update preferences or a user.js file.

  Who Subject: config line did you mean erase? I don't think you can remove entries from the configuration, unless you added it yourself and remove it from the prefs.js file. You can reset the default preferences or change their values. It is not safe to blindly change your configuration as it has no influence on how Firefox is running.

  Before the last update Firefox, running on Ubuntu if it makes a difference, I was able to select close on the file menu (and if memory is also by clicking the x on the last tab) to exit an instance of Firefox open via file new window.

  With the 9.x update this no longer seems to be possible. If I choose the file altogether starting an instance that was launched via the new window, all instances of Firefox away!

  It's embarrassing because I have to leave all the instances that have been launched.

  I tried closing last tab add on, and it allows me to close the last tab content but still leaves the instance running with a blank tab.

  Is there a setting somewhere that I missed to restore the operating mode to exit the additional instances of Firefox without killing all the previous configuration?

  Each window must have its own close button (big X in the right corner.)
  But it depends on the 'Theme' that you use in Ubuntu. This large X chould be a round point when you hover over the color changes. It could be on the left instead of the right site.
  This screenshot shows the close the left side, but always an X button.

  I want to create a link in the muse of adobe that closes the current tab.  I'll put up my photos thumbnails so that when you click on it, it will open a version full screen of the photo in a new tab.  On the page with the photo full screen, I want to have an 'x' on the page in Ubuntu fonts that, when clicked, will close the current tab (the one with the image full screen).  Any ideas how to do that?  Thanks in advance!
