How to connect Blue Yeti to IPad Mini 2?

I just took advantage of a big sale at Best Buy to pick up an IPad Mini 2 32 GB to use with my Blue Yeti mic. However, looking at the connection options, I don't know if the lightning to the USB Camera connection kit works with it because some critics say it gets an error of insufficient power. I tried Googling for more recent reviews, but it is not yet clear. I get only the IPad Mini because it's an inexpensive way to use GarageBand to record so if it does not have the voice, I have to go a different route.

Can someone give me a certain yay or not on it? Thank you!

I can answer my own question: it works great!

I was ready to use a powered USB hub, but I don't seem to need so here we go.

  • How long Apple will support the iPad mini 1

    Hello fellow Apple lovers,.

for my restaurant-bussiness I need 1 or 2 very basic iPads as cash-register using Lightspeed software. There no need again, at the top of the iPad Bill.

My wholesaler suggested me 2 new iPad mini 1 which is a very affordable option. My question for you and apple is: how much time do you think this model to be supported?

Thanks in advance for your response!

    Pieter Dijkema

Apple are not here, these are user forums, you will not get a response from them.

The first generation iPad Mini supports the latest version of iOS (9.3.1), if it will support the next major release we won't know until Apple announces that it is compatible with (the speculation is not allowed on these forums). As it has only 512 meg RAM (Mini 2 and 3 have 1 gig; Mini 4 a 2 gig) is probably limited to updates of iOS it is likely to support.

  • How to create the checklist on ipad mini notes?

Here's what I have on my notes from the ipad. It's ios9 and in icloud, but I can't yet find the button to create a checklist.

    Try this

Note: If you use an earlier version of Notes, you may need to upgrade your iCloud notes to use all the new features - sketch, checklists, paragraph styles and more. To upgrade, press the button upgrade (next to your account notes iCloud in the upper left corner of Notes). It seems you must have enabled in your iCloud Notes, then you can upgrade and get the new features

  • How can I restore my new iPad mini from iCloud backup if they are not compatible with iOS9?

My Mini iPad had an internal problem, so I got a new one on the Apple store.

The problem is I'm trying to save my other from iCloud, and I get a message saying

my back ups that are not compatible with iOS9? What should I do? I don't want to set it up as a new iPad.

I want to save all my info. Help, please!

What iOS has been used to create the backup initially? Is it possible that the backup was performed with iOS 9.x and replacement has only iOS 9.0? Check what iOS is on the replacement iPad. If this is not the last and the original device was later, then you will need to put in place the iPad like new, update of iOS, then go into settings > General > reset > erase all content and settings. Then you can restore the backup to iCloud.

    Hi RubyBlu,

I see you're posting here because your iPad mini Apple Support communities is having problems to connect to your home Wi - Fi network. You talked about since someone at the Apple Store that you said to try to restore your device using iTunes, but you can't not to disable find my iPad to be able to do. I know it's important to be able to connect to the Wi - Fi at home, and I'm happy to help with this.

As a first step, I recommend take a look on this website and perform these steps in the order, if you have not tried them already:

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi - Fi - Apple Support network

If you are still looking to restore your device to factory settings, I'd recommend double-checking to make sure that you have a current backup of first. This is a resource for that if you need a refresher on how to create a back up:
The backup of your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support

Before you can restore your iPad, you need to follow the instructions here to disable find it my function for your iPad:

Delete a Mac or iOS device on which you can not disable Find My iPhone

If you can't disable find my iPhone on the device, turn off the unit so it will Disconnect, then remove of Find My iPhone on iCloud.com.

Note: You can also delete your iOS device by clearing the first - just follow the instructions below to remove an iOS device, you do not have. You can later restore the device of an iCloud or iTunes backup.

    1. Turn off the device you want to remove.

    2. Go to find my iPhone on iCloud.com.

If you don't find my iPhone on iCloud.com, your account has fair access to the web features only iCloud. To access find my iPhone and other iCloud features, set up on your device iOS or Mac iCloud.

    3. Click on all devices, select the device offline, then click on delete account.

If you don't see a delete account, click again on all devices, and then click the Delete button next to the device.

If the device comes online again, it reappears in find my iPhone. If your device again, turn off find my iPhone on the device (follow the instructions above to remove a device by disabling Find My iPhone), or if it is an iOS device and you no longer, follow the instructions below to remove an iOS device, you no longer have.

iCloud: remove your device, Find My iPhone

When you have selected "Delete account", you should be able to restore the device normally using iTunes.

    Take care!

  • I can not connect my iPhone and my iPad mini after ios10

    Hey guys,.

so I upgraded my iPhone 5s as well as my mini iPad 2 to iOS10 today. I couldn't find any problem on my devices to date. Everything seems to be ok. But now I wanted to sync new music from my iMac to the iPhone but the connection of the usb cable, iTunes gives me an error message. My system works in German, so I can only give you a translation of the error message that might not be how it reads in English. The message says something like: "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because there is an invalid response".

The same error message when I connect my iPad mini update. My guess is that my iTunes version is not compatible with iOS10. I'm still on an old iMac with OSX 10.7 since 2006. The latest version of iTunes that I can install is 12.2.2.25. When I try to download a newer version of the apple download page, the browser will automatically return to 12.2.2. and wants to download this version. Is there no work around or there at - he become a compatible version of iTunes? Does anyone have the same problem and it can confirm that it has to do with iTunes?

Because you can't run the latest version of iTunes on a Mac running v10.7 Lion (very outdated OS X) see if your Mac can pass to El Capitan > update of OS X El Capitan

In this way, you would be able to run iTunes 12.5.1then update your iOS 10 devices.

  • How can I transfer photos from film on iPad mini iMac

I have pictures on my camera iPad mini roll which do not seem to have been downloaded on my iMac.

I often will have pictures from an Sd Card (with adapters) or wifi from my camera to my iPad but not, when I got home, of course to my iMac.

I need to make room on my iPad how do I transfer it to my iMac.  (I'm still under Maverick, I know!    iPad ISO9.2.1 running)

I do not use the cloud to store my photos just transfer them via the photo stream.

The photos are not all on my photo gallery. The photos will go back two years. !

I recently activated photo stream (October, last year) photos to transfer photos from my iMac iPhoto events if some are OK. I used the info forum to delete several of these photos.

To check if I remove a photo from my roll of picture on my iPad, it is not deleted from my iMac, correct?  and according to the original question, I need to transfer photos to my iMac.

IF you have photos that have not been transferred to the Mac because they predate photo stream, you can import them from the film by connecting the iPad to Mac with the cable and launch iPhoto or Image Capture. Your iPad must appears as a device in the left of either of the two apps bar and you will be able to import photos and then delete them from the iPad if you want to do.

As long as the photos have been imported to the Mac, you can delete them from the camera without them being removed from the Mac.

  • Unable to connect to the internet with iPad mini, iOS 9.2, while I can with my old MacBook, OS (10.75).

I'm away from home at a place which provides the free wifi connection without password.  My old MacBook with Mac (OS 10.75) is connected to the internet without any problem here. My iPad mini iOS 9.2 cannot, and they are many around here. What should I do besides take a hike outdoors?

Don't know how this issue would be related to products that we support in this forum... AirPort Express, AirPort Extreme and AirPort Time Capsule below... but we will try to help you get started in the right direction.

Start by looking at this Apple support document:

    Hi dridley,
I understand that you have problems with getting your iPad mini connected to the internet. If you have not already done so, please check to see if there are updates available for your device. You can do wireless or with iTunes.

Update the software on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch iOS

If after update, you are still unable to connect to your wifi at home, try to go through the steps in this link. If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi-Fi network

This should have your iPad mini to connect to your wifi as it should. Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Good day.

  • IPad Mini will not connect to WiFi

My IPad Mini does not connect to my WiFi at home. All other devices in the House are connected correctly. It seems that my IPad Mini or the router. I was working well until that Friday. I have reset the router and the IPad Mini, forgotten network, rebooted both, and nothing seems to work. Any further suggestions?

I suggest to do a hard reset (hold home and power button at the same time) If you have not already tried it. That's worked for me before when nothing else has.
