  2. click on properties
   
  3. click on distance parameters
   
  4. Click to deselect Remote Assistance if it is enabled
   
  5. under Remote Desktop, click on do not all connections to this computer remotely

This option is not available on the start screen (grayed out =) where you see the layouts available but don't have selected one yet.

  In your case, the option is not available on selected either page layout screen (where it shouldn't be greyed out). Is this fair?
