All my programs are passed to the default opening program here as Word 2007 How do I change all the acknowledgement of programs to defuault there? I uninstalled the steps and it made no difference so I reinstalled and opened. Then he did the same as before. How can I get my programs back to default here?
This problem started as soon as I updated my Windows 7 - 32 bit - please help. :(Hello mattyboy1212,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.
Try these steps and see if you can associate the default programs. If they are associated with Word, and then change them to the correct program.
1. click Start and then click Control Panel.
2. click on programs link.
Note: If you see small icons or large icons in the control panel display, you will not see this link. Click on the default programs icon, and then click the link associated with a file type or Protocol with a program . Go to step 4.
3. click on the link to Open a file in a specific program type always under default programs .
4. in the set Associations window, scroll down until you see the file extension that you want to change the default for program.
5. click on the extension of the file to select it, once you have found what you are looking for.
6. click the button of change... program above the scroll bar.
The Open with dialog box should appear.
7. look into options for programs recommended and choose the application you want to open it with the file extension when you double-click on the particular type of the file on your computer.
Note: Chances are, requests described under the programs recommended will be contain more programs for this type of file, but don't forget to look at the applications under other programs. You may need to click the v to expand the list of these programs.
Note: Click Browse... to search, through your computer for any program not shown do not want to use.
8. click OK in the Open with window. Windows 7 is going to update the list of file associations to display the new default program to open this type of file.
9. click the button close the bottom together associations . You can also close the window of the Control Panel if it is still open.
10. at this stage, when you double-click on any file with this particular file extension, the program you partner in step 7 will launch and load the particular file.
Important: Program used to automatically open when these types of files have been launched will again open these types of files. To use a different program, you just need to start the program manually and then browse your computer for the file in particular.
If please reply back and let us know if know if it helped to solve your problem or if you still need help.
Sincerely,
Marilyn

How do reset you the program back to Windows 7 compatibility mode?
I tried to get a program runs on Windows 7, but it would freeze upwards. Then I changed a setting in the program compatibility, try a Windows XP mode and a mode of Windows Vista (without success). How to get out the compatibility settings and just go back to Windows 7? Thank you.
Hi dartglass01
To change the settings for compatibility manually for a program, right-click the program icon, click Properties, and then click the compatibility tab. You can uncheck the option to run this program in compatibility mode dedicated
You can also check out the link to below to get help-http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows

OfficeJet 6500 more: how to print from a program back on Officejet 6500 more?
On the old laserjet, I could open the printer as a file in a back program and send lines to print. Is it possible to do it on the Officejet 6500 Plus?
>> ... Is it possible to do it on the Officejet 6500 Plus? ...
Not really.
This model printer (like most peripheral inket consumers) do not understand plain text ASCII.
The only way to send data to it is to imitate what does the printer driver, and convert text and images (the owner) encapsulated, compressed, raster image understood by the device format (which is unencapsulates and decompresses these images and prints the result 'points').

How to get all the programs in the Start Menu is displayed as a cascading menu
Is there a legitimate way to get the menu all programs in the Windows 7 Start Menu to display a menu cascading (WinXP style)?
I've seen many references to various malicious programs to download from the internet who hack into the start menu to provide this functionality, but I'm not interested in executing random programs from the internet.
If there is no legitimate way to do this in Windows 7 right now, is it possible to add this in the future Microsoft? The current implementation of menu "scroll of the trees" is really annoying. :-(

Hi Ghaz78
There is unfortunately no way to do this without using a replacement of the third party.
One of the most popular workarounds must simply turn on the Quick Launch bar. You can put the toolbar QL next to the Start Menu and then copy the folder of programs (all programs) on this toolbar that will give you the cascading effect.
See the post below for the steps to add the QL toolbar.
Once this done, go to Start, then right-click all programs , and then selectopen all users. This will take you to the folder C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start start\program . This is the location where the shortcuts that appear in all the user accounts, theall programs folder.
Copy this folder in: C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
Go toStart, all programs right click and select Open. This will take you to the
Record of C:\Users\your start\program name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start.
This is the folder where shortcuts that appear only in the all programs to your specific user account folder is located.Copy this folder in:C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
Quite.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Windows 7

How to optimize all default programs
When I open a program it opens minimized
Hi Michael,
Please go to the Microsoft Community Forums.1. don't you make changes to the computer before the show?2. what programs you're talking about?Method 1:The easiest way is to open the program that you want to open enlarged and maximize the window. Then close the program, and when you re - open, the program will open maximized.
Windows remembers the last way you have configured specific windows.Method 2:Another way to make sure it opens expanded is:a. right click on the shortcut to a program you want to open enlarged and select "Properties".b. tab shortcut properties window, you will see an option for "run:'"c. develop the enlarged to always run this program when you open it.Note: (applies only for shortcuts of programs.)
I hope this helps. -

The entire program antivirus don't happen that their return on what I found. They clean it up but your left with trying to fix the rest of the problem. Biggest problem for me, is that the top of the Tower has not yet saved.

How can I run a program back through windows 7? DOSbox? zinstall? Or loading of a xp via external hard drive? Any help is appreciated, thanks.
DOSbox or BACK (or XP or another 32-bit version of WIndows) on a virtual machine.
An external hard drive can be used only if it is connected by SATA (not USB). In this case, it seems to be an internal drive.
If you have Windows 7 Professional, you can use XP Mode. Otherwise, use VMWare Player http://www.vmware.com/products/player/, Virtualbox http://www.virtualbox.org/ or Windows Virtual PC http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/download.aspx to host your virtual machine.

Location of concurrent programs seeded scenarios
Hello
It is a general question.
I want to know the location of the scripts for concurrent programs seeded as active users, stats diagram collect concurrent programs...
Thanks in advance. It is a general question.
I want to know the location of the scripts for concurrent programs seeded as active users, stats diagram collect concurrent programs...
It depends on the type of report - Oracle does not provide the source code for all concurrent programs.
For example, the executable 'Active users' method is "Oracle Reports" and you can find it under $FND_TOP/reports /
Directory - place you (responsibility of the system administrator > simultaneous > program > define, then ask the simultaneous program name to get the name of the executable file (FNDSCURS) and you can find the report FNDSCARU.rdf in $FND_TOP/reports / Directory.) For having engineered concurrent programs, please visit https://forums.oracle.com/forums/search.jspa?threadID=&q=Spawned+AND+Source&objID=c3&dateRange=all&userID=&numResults=15&rankBy=10001
For the other types (such as Java), you can search the forum just the way that I did for concurrent programs laid.
Thank you
