Not in the print spooler service
Trying to install wireless printer, but cannot load disk from HP software because "Spooler not to the print service. Had problems of virus recently and suspect damaged printer driver. Where am I going to restore the print spooler service?
Click on the Start button and select Control Panel, administrative tools, Services. Locate the print spooler service in the list and make sure that the startup type is automatic. If it is not set to automatic, right-click and select Properties, general tab. There is a box after the startup type. The options are available in a menu drop-down by clicking on the down arrow to the right of the box. After the change is made click apply and then click OK. Restart the computer and verify if it has started. Hope this helps, Gerry Cornell

How can I fix the error message "the print spooler service does not work."?
All printer drivers that I had loaded do not work or have disappeared. After you download the printer drivers, I got the error message: "operation could not be performed. The print spooler service is not running. "I have Windows XP. I need to print now!
To start the print spooler service, click Start > all programs > Accessories > run. In the run box type in services.msc. In the Windows Services window right-click on print spooler and select open. You will then see the options "Start automatically", and then on the button 'Start Service'. Click on those and then click apply then OK. Who should start the print spooler service, however, if you get an error message, see the link below for more information.

How to start the print spooler service because it stopped
local print spooler service stopped working on vista how to restart
Double-click the print spooler service to view its page properties...
go to the TAB more far away on the right, should be "dependencies".
It should display a list of components or services that must be running in order for the spooler service is running.
The bottom in the properties page window shows the services that must run so that the components to run...
in essence, you would have a trail leading you exactly what service it is not working, which prevents the spooler service to run. -
Restore the Printer Spooler service file
All the printer drivers on my Dell computer have disappeared. When I tried to reinstall I got a message that the printer spool service is not working. I tried Mr. Fixit and other suggestions. No work. I get a message that the file is not found. Anyone know how I can restore this file?
Hello
Try to manually start the service of click Start-> Run, type & -> services.msc-> right-> print spooler. Double-click Print Spooler-> click Start-> select Auto menu drop-down.
If give you the error, try to replace spoolsv.exe is located in C:\windows\system32 in C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386.

Windows must now restart because the print spooler service terminated unexpectedly
I have a PC running on Windows Vista professional that I had for about a year with two printers that have also been all this time, a HP LaserJet 1000 and an Epson SX105.
This morning, amid a series of PDFs (separate files) printing on LaserJet printers, I suddenly had the following pop-up message:
"Spooler SubSystem App stopped working and was closed".
On the Control Panel, I found that my two printers have apparently disappeared. My first reaction was just close and restart the computer, often kind of seeds.
To restart, I tried to print again, but I was told that I had to install a printer. Trying to install a printer, I learned that I could not because of a problem with the spooler. I looked online to find a solution and one that suits (without touching the registry) seemed to be to check the operation of via Control Panel's print spooler, and then restart. Oh dear. What a mistake! I did this and found that the printers have reappeared, but then about 30 seconds later, I got the following pop-up message:
"Windows must now restart because the print spooler service terminated unexpectedly.
Each time it restarts the message comes back after less than a minute and restarts on another 30 seconds later, so I have a chance to try a system restore (I installed the last service pack Vista a couple of days), or something else... it's just in a loop of perpetual reboot, I can't stop restarting Windows.
How the hell do I? (I send this message using my Vista laptop and pray the same problem occur here, too, so I don't have to print anything).

Are not in the print spooler service and must not be restarted in Windows Vista
I can't add an impression because I get an error message "unable to open the Add Printer window. The local print spooler does not work. Please restart the spooler or restart the machine. »
I ran the "fix it" program, but it does not solve the problem.
Restarting the computer does not solve the problem. Go to management services does not solve the problem, because the print spooler is not automatically listed to run.
I was able to print on a staff of 600 Epson printer connect to my Dell computer via USB.
The next option to solve this problem, what am I looking at? Help, please.
Thank you.
