  Very important to know if your Satellite Pro 6000 laptop was equipped with WLan car or not!

  If the wireless network adapter is available please check if the right WLan driver has been installed and if the wireless network adapter has been properly recognized!

  I searched a little one found that the wireless network cards optional to this series of laptop; This means that some 6000 Pro will be delivered with the Wlan card and some books don't have this module!

• How to get the 'factory settings' on satellite M30?

  I just tried to set my laptop back to the original configuration by using the restore CD. Unfortunatly just before the process an error message is displayed. There seems to be a scratch on the second CD, I guess that's the problem.
  I've been in touch with toshiba and they said they will send replacements but there is a delay, and it will take several weeks.
  I can't really afford to wait that long to get my laptop working again, are there any ways to get around this? I was wondering if I used the advanced option could I select only to install enough components to get it running, so does not require the second CD, or at least it damaged the part of the Conference on disarmament. It would probably be a temporary measure until replacements arrived.

  Restore CD provided you can install new OS. There is no option for any type of repair just clean OS installation operating system.
  There is nothing to do at the moment. Before the start of the procedure for recovery of the disk HARD will be formatted and in your case, it's already done. There is no chance to fix whatever it is, whatever that means clean OS can be done now.

  As content of the USERS tablespace is not serious after your quote above, you can do the following

  SQL>  create tablespace users2 datafile '/u01/app/oracle/oradata/orcl/users2.dbf' size ;

  SQL> alter database default tablespace users2;
  
  Database altered.
  
  SQL> drop tablespace users including contents and datafiles;
  
  Tablespace dropped.

  First you need to download xp drivers: http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp
  Second, you must create the floppy or custom installation CD of Windows XP with integrated storage drivers. the custom installation CD, you can use Nlite http://www.nliteos.com/. There are guides in different languages, so you won't have a problem to create a. Don't forget it will have to include "Storage drivers", without them, Setup does not recognize the hard drive.
  Third install XP :)

  If you want to replace Vista with your Windows XP operating system then just boot from the Windows XP CD and follow the on-screen installation instructions.

  Please choose this number before you begin to download the driver.

  By the way; Support for laptop SATA controller so you will need to include the driver SATA during the XP installation process.

  A drive in my Toshiba Satellite A300 14V 320 is divided two equal C: and E: volumes. The c: volume contains Vista OS, programs and lots of user data. The E: volume is the folder HDDRecovery contains it is about 4 GB, but when I check the properties of the volume E: I see 30 GB of used space. Could someone explain what is the problem?
  And there's a question related - why I am able to reduce volume E: only for about 12 GB and not able at all to expand the C: volume by Windows tools? Do I have to use commercial software to perform the task or it is easier and cheaper to reinstall the system with a disk-resuscitator?

  All new Toshiba laptops have this partition structure. On the second partition you have folder named HDDRecovery that contains the recovery image. This image will be used if you want to install HARD drive recovery facility - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9102IR0000R01.htm

  On the second partition, you can also save all your important data. This second partition is not reserved for the recovery image only. Very important, it is follow:
  # When you want to install the OS by using restore DVD disc the whole HARD disk will be formatted and all data will be gone.
  # When you use second partition of disk HARD recovery option will not be changed. This means that all data stored on the second partition will be there even if you have installed the operating system again.

  It is therefore recommended that you save all important data, music, movies, photos, or different documents on the second partition. If you want to use this HARD drive recovery option in the future please do not change the partition structure. When something is changed, it can happen that you will not be able to start the installation of HARD drive recovery.

  If you care about second partition and if you created recovery DVD discs, you can with the partitions all you want.

  If you want to use the WLAN to all first your wireless network adapter must be installed correctly. You are right. Your laptop has Realtek WLAN card inside. When the wireless network adapter is installed properly, it must be enabled.
