How can I change instead of change from Bing to Google search engine?
Hello
I want to ask you about customizing the search engine, instead of default search engine as Bing change the google search engine? either way, I'm using Firefox 8.0.
Thank you
When you get to the options, you should see bing in the menu. Highlight bing and type google.com and ok on the bottom then it should replace bing. If you can't find the Tools option go up and do a right click and menu check mark to display the toolbar.

How to change the t0 ' topic: host ' search engine
How to change the t0 ' subject: Home "search engine (for the moment it is yahoo), but I want to google. If I search from the address bar, then it is google. but I want to google on the home page for: (.) Thank you
@cor-el: this would probably work if you want to restore the default value.
I have changed my encrypted google search engine on "subject: House" with these steps:
1. download sqlite browser.
(I used this: website (sqlitebrowser.sourceforge.net) / victory of direct download)2 extract the zip file
3. run ' SQLite Database Browser 2.0 b1.
4. open the "chromeappsstore.sqlite" file in your profile folder
5. click the Browse data tab and double-click the value in the first row. (see screenshot below)
6. Insert the desired value.
As you will see the values in the example below, you can use any search you want and you can insert a "_searchTerms_" instead of the term research.
I have these values:- Standart (google):
{'name': 'Google', "searchUrl" ': "_ http://www.google.com/search?q=_searchTerms & ie = utf - 8 & oe = utf-8 & aq = t & rls = org.mozilla: en - org.mozilla & client = firefox-a" "}
- Encrypted Google:
{'name': 'Google', "searchUrl" ': "https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=_searchTerms _" "}
- Yahoo:
{'name': 'Yahoo', "searchUrl" ': "http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=_searchTerms _" "}
- Bing:
{'name': 'Yahoo', "searchUrl" ': "http://www.bing.com/search?q=_searchTerms _" "}

In the google search engine lack of research (and other) bar
A number of search engines have disappeared. I guess I can add those that I added in the past, but Google is missing and I don't know how to add.
Try to restore default search engines by selecting "Manage search engines" in the drop-down list beside the search on the address and then bar by clicking on "Restore Defaults", it will attempt to restore the default value of Google search engine to the list. You should now be able to choose Google as search engine, even if it can remove those that you added previously.

How can I remove this virus from search engine 'Baidu '?
Whenever I start ANY browser (Firefox, GoogleChrome...) Baidu opens as my home page.
-J' I searched my entire computer, I can't find a Baidu.exe or signs of Baidu in my PC. I found a shortcut edit 'target' that adds a command to open some files in the program data (I removed that), but Baidu still appears.
- And I can't go to Options > general or advanced since then, firefox crashes. (I think it's because the virus does not change all parameters)
-J' scanned my complete PC with Malwarebytes, Microsoft Essentials and SuperAntiSpyware. They are 40 errors/virus and removed them, but that does not solve anything or the other.
Then... How to remove a virus from browser search engine without going in the Options? Where should I start?
You can open the topic: config page through the address bar and search Prefs that refer to baidu.
You can restore the default user set prefs ("BOLD") via the context menu.See also;

Problem seen in Google search engine.
I used Google for years without problems - I work from home as a freelance journalist. But this last few days, if I search for something on Google from IE and click on a result, I can get the page I want upward. But then, if I want to go back to the same Google search page to check the other results, I can't go back by clicking on the button 'back' at the top left, as I always did. If I click it, it just keeps returning me to the page I'm already. I find no mention anywhere using this problem or any means to remedy. If I have the cursor hover over the arrow bak, the address of the current page appears rather than the original Google search page, so there is obviously something wrong.
Thank you
Hello
1. This only happens with Google?
2. don't you make recent changes?
I suggest you to follow these steps and check if that helps:
Method 1:
Try to run Internet explorer mode without modules and check to see if the same problem happens:

Method 2:
Try to optimize Internet explorer and check to see if it helps:

At the top of the screen on a page web I generally had the address in the top field and right, there was always a Google search engine. Now that the window has disappeared and all I have is a significant window of Wikipedia and I can get Wikipedia search results. It's like they have taken over.
Thanks - Google seems to not be of any help in this area.
You are welcome.
