  Copy how? On a copier? I saw controls with the Microprint than that, but I don't know if there are special requirements (I guess there's) for the installation and print program.

The color and black are great because they already stand on white/transparent background by default. But I want to put the white pattern on a background that will make visible. Is it possible to set up the document so that the background is a color so that you can see the white design, but when it is place in another document, it of just the design and does not include the background?

  You can open the file > Document format > transparency and color scheme of the grid as you wish (even color or black only), then switch to view > show transparency grid.

  It's actually not so bad.  The black point is just a little loose, but there a lot of full white pixels.

  

  A layer of subtle curves give a totally black content, but you can see how the histogram gets gappy even with this small adjustment.  Work in 16-bit with B & W to give you a range of tones complete.  This is if your scanner display to 16-bit.

  Try a levels adjustment layer and adjust the white to the left point slider until the cast iron disappears. You can also do the same thing the black using the black slider to the far left, if it is faded or discolored. Adjustment layers is that they do not alter the image permanently. You can delete the layer if you want to try something else.

  Levels, it's just that I prefer to the cleaning of a scan of the comic strip.

  Just go to the filters section in the property inspector Panel, first select your object on the Web (for example, the bottom), then click on the [+] sign sign in Filters > a small menu opens, select blur > Gaussian blur and change the value (0 = zero blur, 4 or more = a lot of blur). Later, you can change or remove the effect, which is good.

  I often use a Gaussian blur, especilly if I need make a blurry image...

  I don't see any way to do this with a camera type point.  The only way you will get the result desired is using a digital SLR and a lens with an aperture of F1.8 or less if possible, but a 1.8 should be sufficient for most needs.
